Archana and Manav go on lecturing abt reform but did they do anything positive to help him in that reform? First of all, they needed to get him educated, then get him a job in Manav's company (in a lower position that doesnt need high qualifications).
Then Soham would feel truly accepted and upwardly mobile as befits a son of Deshmukh family.
Armaan's insane ideas of making Soham do hard labor to prove how hard work leads to success doesnt make sense at all.
Why did Manav educate Sachin, Teju and Ovi then?
Why did Archu educate Purvi then, so well that she can handle any job at Manav's company?
What have they done for Soham? Zilch! Nothing!
If Soham had started night school, and worked in Manav's company, that would have boosted his self confidence and improved his self worth. Then probably he would not have behaved like a sociopath at Gauri's rejection. He would have accepted it and moved on. Thats how I feel!
His male ego was hurt at the rejection as he thinks Sachin is preferred by Gauri because of his profession and better earnings. He thinks Sachin gets preferential treatment at home too, by Armaan, because hes a lawyer and Soham is neglected because hes a nobody!
