Seriously, you'd think Soham would be a man about this and move on. Gauri did nothing to give Soham reason to think she was in love with him; if he or anyone else misread her behavior, then that person needs to accept the fact the person did not love them and move on. Gauri explained herself and it all seems very plausible that she saw Soham only as a friend who needed support.
Yes Soham feels saddened by his loss but he is seriously acting like an immature kid and not an mature adult male.
What also bewilders me, he's supposed to be some thug and yet he is so innocent and child like about women...you'd think he would fit more with the image of what most bad guys get up too.
Seriously, Soham is a really poorly written character with the writers confused as to whether he is supposed to be some teenage kid in love or a bad guy who is rough around the edges but with a good heart. It seems as though the writers are holding back and that makes Soham a rather uninteresting character.
To add, he is not quick witted and comes across as a bit slow. Just because he does not have an academic background doesn't mean he needs to be portrayed this way.
Waiting to see what nonsense Ekta plans to give us...
