Episode starts with Shalini, who comes to Purvi's Office and gives her a file for a new project to sign.
Purvi stops her and asks, What did you say? Ma'am? Call me Purvi!
Shalu smiles and sits down, Purvi checks the file and praises Shalini's work being quite impressive!
She tells Shalini then, work will come later, first tell me how you are liking it here?
Shalu says shes loving it! She has told Onir that her dreams of working in Mumbai came true as she got a job in this company.
Purvi smiles happily and asks Shalu if she and Onir are planning to settle down in Mumbai?
Shalini nods in assent.
Purvi asks her if she has found a new place to live? It must be a bit uncomfortable living with Onir in the same flat?
Shalini says, Honestly speaking, she feels more comfortable with Onir than with anyone else! If it was her choice, she would never leave Onir's flat. But people talk, gossip, so she moved out to another flat.
Arjun comes in, greets Shalini and gives Purvi a list for Hari Kaka, which has all the materials they need for worshipping Ganapati Bappa for the upcoming festival.
He asks Purvi if she wants to add anything else to the list.
Purvi says No, whatever she already added, to bring those.
Arjun was leaving when Purvi asks him if she can invite Shalini to the Ganesh Utsav?
Arjun says, Of course, whats there to ask?
Purvi invites Shalini to the Ganesh Utsav, adding that this must be Shalu's first Ganesh Festival in Mumbai so she will enjoy it a lot!
Shalini says she will definitely come! She thanks Arjun and Purvi for the invitation and leaves.
Arjun goes near Purvi and says its very nice she invited Shalini but he feels that Purvi is up to something, so what is the matter?
Purvi says she will explain to him later but now could he please call Onir and invite him also to the Ganesh festival?
Arjun agrees but again asks her whats going on?
Purvi tells him to call Onir, she will explain later.
Arjun calls Onir and tells him they are having the Ganesh Festival at home, Bappa is coming and there will be Puja so he wanted to invite Onir.
Onir says thats great and he will definitely come!
Arjun asks a grinning Purvi what the matter is...she says she was planning to talk to Onir abt Shalini. And there cant be a better day or occasion to talk abt those things, right?
Arjun agrees wholeheartedly and then he leaves with some files.

Next morning at Deshmukh chawl
Archana brings up water from the municipal tap and calls Manav to come get his morning tea.
Manav yells from inside he will come in five minutes after freshening up.
Archana turns and sees Soham is at the door. She looks at him sternly and says she has to talk to him.
Teju suddenly runs in and takes the bucket from Archu and rushes down to get in line for water.
Archu brings Soham inside but before she can talk to him abt last night, Manav comes out and hes happy to see Soham is back.
Manav welcomes him home, then goes off to have tea and read the newspaper.
Archana tries to talk to Soham but he escapes inside, saying he has to freshen up. Archu looks worried!

Manav, Soham and Sachin are outside. Sachu takes a receipt from Manav and says he and Soham will get the Ganapati idol from the sculptor.
Soham and Sachin go inside and choose a Ganapati idol from several on display there. Sachin covers Bappa's face with a cloth (has to be covered till inauguration) and the two guys carry the idol outside. Manav is very happy and goes to get the car.
Gauri and Atul are also walking close by.
Atul tells Gauri, Tayi, this year's Ganapati Bappa will be our last one naa, as you are going to ur sasural after that! After that you will only come with jeeju (brother-in-law) as a guest to our house. Thats why I want to get a bigger and special Ganapati idol this year!
Gauri says, Dont be silly! It doesnt matter if the idol is small or big, as God resides in both of them!
Soham spots Gauri walking by, she also sees him. They stare at each other.
Soham forgets himself and starts smiling. The Ganapati idol almost slips from his grasp but Sachin catches it!
He yells at Soham, what is he doing and to be careful! If the idol fell down or even if it got scratched, then its a very bad omen!
Soham looks crestfallen. Sachin tells him to hold carefully and both boys carry the idol to Manav's car which pulls up beside them.
Atul spots Sachin and cries out JEEJU (BIL) and runs to meet him. Gauri follows him, Sachin greets both of them.
Gauri greets him, then asks Manav how hes doing?
Manav says hes feeling great and today Bappa was coming home so theres only happiness everywhere!
Sachin asks Gauri if they have purchased their idol already, then he could drop them at home?
Gauri says no, they didnt buy it yet and they also had a lot of other shopping to do so they should leave and she and Atul can go home by themselves.
Manav asks Gauri if she and her parents are coming for dinner that night at Sulochana Aji's house?
Gauri says yes, Baba, then she says she has to go for festival shopping. She and Soham exchange quick glances. Then she leaves.

Manav's car pulls up at the chawl, Teju sees them arrive from the balcony, shes all excited as Manav and the boys take out Ganapati idol, shouting "Ganapati Bappa Morya, Mangal Murti Morya"
She yells MORYA from the balcony! She cries out, Ganapati is here!
Archana is all dressed up in Puja sari, nath and jewelry, shes carrying a Kalash (sacred pot of water) with leaves in it. She yells MORYA and smiles. Savita Tayi is also there smiling in welcome.
Manav and the 2 boys bring Ganapati inside and place Him inside the little temple in their home, Teju and all are singing Morya Rey Bappa Morya rey...
Archana says, Ayi I was thinking, why dont we inaugurate the Deity by Sachin's hands this year? Hes getting married soon, so he will get Bappa's blessings!
Manav agrees, as always, she has the right idea.
Ovi, Teju all gather around the idol and make prepartions for Puja while Ganapati mantra plays in the background and Archu observes them happily. Soham gives her an angry look, she gets worried.
Sachin garlands the deity and starts doing Aarti.
Ganapati Vandana is sung while Sachin and Deshmukh family inaugurate the deity and Sachin does Arti.
In Sulochana Aaji's house also, Vinod is doing Aarti, Manju and Sulo are praying.
In DK's house, Arjun and Purvi are jointly doing Arti while DK rings the Puja bells.
Then Manav is doing Aarti in D House, Gauri's dad is doing Aarti in their home, Manju doing Arti in Sulo's house, Damodar doing arti in D home, Gauri in her house, then soham in D house, all take turns to do Ganapati Vandana and Arti.
Jai Dev Jai Dev- Vandana is playing in the background throughout.

Arjun and Purvi are welcoming guests at their house Puja. Onir and Shalini enter, Onir touches DK's feet. Arjun and Purvi greet Onir and Shalu, welcome them.
Shalini tells Purvi she would have come earlier but she was feeling awkward to come alone, but when she learned Onir was also coming, she came with him.
Arjun and Purvi are smiling in delight...Purvi tells her, come and do Darshan of the Lord.
They go inside, Onir and Shalini offer prayers to Bappa together.
Arvi look at them, Purvi smiles with delight and tells Arjun, What a beautiful couple they make, isnt it?
Onir turns around and asks Where is the Princess?
Purvi tells him, Pari is inside, she gets upset and cries here because of the crowds, so we left her inside in the room.
Onir asks, Is she sleeping? Can I see her?
Purvi says, Of course! Come with me...
In Arvi's bedroom, a nanny is taking care of Pari, Onir goes and takes Pari and cuddles and kisses her.
Purvi asks him, Onir, you love kids a lot, right?
Onir says, Of course, they are so cute! So lovable and innocent! Looking at them, we can forget all the tensions in our lives!
He puts Pari on the bed and smiles.
Purvi asks him, what have you planned abt having your own kids?
Onir looks surprised. What do u mean?
Purvi tells him he shd think abt getting married now. Find a life partner who shares all his joys and sorrows...
She tells him, Do u understand what Im saying? To be honest, Ive found a girl for you...
Onir is amused, Really? Who is she?
Purvi smiles, Its Shalini!
Onir gets serious and looks away.
He tells Purvi, I respect ur concern towards me, but I never saw Shalini in that way. And Im sure she also doesnt feel for me that way.
Purvi insists, But Onir, Im a girl and I can understand another girl's feelings better than you do. Thats why I feel that Shalini loves you.
Onir says he thinks Purvi is mistaken. He never saw Shalini behave in that manner so ..
Purvi says, I know..but some people dont express their feelings because they are afraid of rejection. They're afraid of losing their loved ones. And maybe she tried to express her feelings to you but u didnt understand? So she kept silent after no response from ur side. To tell the truth, whatever she did for ur sake, a fake marriage, living with u as ur fake wife, she even sacrificed her job for you, what is this but Love? Nowadays, even a friend doesnt so so much for another friend. And Onir, have u noticed, Shalini shares even the smallest events, joys of her life with you! Whats the meaning of all that? Take my word for it, Shalini likes you a lot! And I think that you should also think abt her now...maybe this is the right time for you to find a life partner?
Onir is lost in deep thought, considering Purvi's words seriously.

Sulochana Aaji's house
Armaan are doing Aarti, prayer song Jai Ganesha Deva in the background.
Whole D clan is there, also Arvi and Gauri & Atul.
After Aarti ends, Vinod smiles and says, This has become a tradition in our house, the first evening Aarti at Ganesh Festival is always done by Archu and Manav.
Sulo says, Of course, after all, Manav is also my son!
Manju says, Archu, Let me go and make Puris for everyone, Ive made everything else.
Archu says, Vahini (Bhabhi) why will u do it alone? I will come and help you.
They go to the kitchen as Ovi, Teju all are taking blessings from the Aarti flame.
All the guys are eating dinner at the sofa, while the ladies are eating at the table. Manju is serving them.
Soham walks in, looking depressed. Manju greets him, Good thing u came Beta, we were waiting for you!
Manju makes a weird face, as she smells the alcohol on his breath.
Purvi realizes hes drunk and gets up at once, saying, Dada, you came straight from the shop naa, go inside and freshen up, then have dinner, okay?
She takes him inside before others realize hes drunk.
Manju looks shocked and angry. She goes to the kitchen and asks Archu, Does Soham work at a shop or at a bar?
Archu looks surprised, Manju tells her, Dont look at me like that! Have u seen his condition now? Hes come here drunk! At least today he shd have abstained! Its Ganesh Chaturthi! Theres a prayer ceremony at home! But just look at him! Hes so drunk, he cant even stand straight!
Archu and Sulo look upset and worried, while it seems Ovi, Gauri etc can hear Manju from the kitchen.
Manju continues her tirade at Archu, Do u know, a few days ago, Ayi and me were talking abt his marriage, then I had said, which father will give his daughter in marriage to such a boy? But NO, at that time, everyone was proudly announcing that Soham has changed! How has he changed? Arey, he was a gunda, is still a gunda and will always remain a gunda!
Meanwhile, Manav gets up from the sofa and is coming towards the kitchen, he overhears Manju's words. He stops, looking up angrily.
Shaking with fury, he flings his plate and glass down! The steel utensils clatter on the floor loudly.
Everyone is shocked and get up from their meals, Purvi comes running from inside.
Manav yells, MANJUSHA! STOP IT! ENOUGH!
Manju comes running out of the kitchen.
Manav yells at her, For many years, we have been tolerating you! But NO MORE! What do u think of yourself! Youre always conspiring against someone or the other! ALWAYS Gossiping abt someone or the other!
Manju looks at Vinod, who is also stunned.
Manav continues furiously, Archu and Sulochana Ayi have tried to reform you many times, but u will never learn! Before pointing at others, first look at your own self! Are u the model of Virtues? Through ur daughter, you tried to destroy my daughters' happiness, you got Ayi's house transfered in your name, with ur conspiracies and scheming! You threw out Ayi from her own house! And now that son in law of yours is after us! Hes making up stories and trying to turn me against my son!
Vinod yells, Thats enough, Manav!
Sulo tries to stop Vinod but he continues, I know Manju has made many mistakes, but she has made amends for them at the right time! Maybe Manju is wrong today, but u have no right to talk to her this way! How can you speak to her in this manner?
Manav is enraged, Now this man is going to teach me manners? This man will teach me whats right and whats wrong? The man who has lived with wrong person all his life, that person will teach me?
Vinod yells, Now ur crossing all limits!
Archu runs to Manav and tries to control him, she says she will talk to her brother and SIL, he shd calm down.
Archu goes to Vinod and says, please try to understand, Manav is not feeling well nowadays, what hes saying, he probably doesnt even remember everything!
Vinod angrily tells Archu, if Manav is not well, then you shd keep him at home! Theres no need to bring him here and spoil our festival and ruin our day!
Archu looks hurt but she nods and convinces Manav to go home with her! They leave. Everybody looks upset at all the unpleasant drama.
Purvi supports a staggering Soham, takes him aside and tells him, Dada, I had told u to take care of urself. Why did u drink? U saw naa, it created so much problems here? I know ur sad, but still..
Archu is passing by, she hears Purvi and says, Tell me what the matter is..
Purvi looks nervous, Archu insists, Purvi, I know u know everything, Im asking u somthing, tell me what the matter is! Whats wrong with Soham? Why is he behaving this way? Tell me, Purvi!
Soham is in a drunken stupor and doesnt even realize whats going on. Purvi looks at him, then at Archu, at a loss for words...
PRECAP:
Archana is telling Soham, she will choose the best girl in the world for him!
Soham drunkenly says, Give me Gauri naa...shes my whole world! I love her a lot! I cant live without her!
Archu is upset and angrily tells him, Are you crazy?
