Here is a small yet superb write up on Sushant Singh Rajput By a dear friend of mine, who is probably the biggest fan of his i have ever known. But more than that she adores Manav and when she wrote about Manav, I couldn't help sharing it. Here is why she thinks Manav is a huge hit:

As I'm starting to pen down about all that I think, feel & believe about S.S.R (Sushant Singh Rajput) and his character Manav I can almost hear the title track of pavitra rishta waving around my ears with the charming glimpse of ssr in my eyes...!!! Hayyy... Sushant Singh Rajput... Let me get back from my dream world to write about my dear one...!!! :D :D

To begin with I really don't remember any other bollywood or telly actor who fascinated me to this extent and it's not like that I started noticing him after Pavitra Rishta's TRPs started soaring up..!! I adored him from "JISS DESS MEIN HAI MERA DIL" days...!!!I don't know what but there was some magic in his personality... the way he walked...the way he talked & of course his infectious smile...!!! He made me go mad over him all over again with his louvey douvey soap "PAVITRA RISHTA"...!! Icing on the cake was the theme of the show & the female lead- Ankita Lokhande'. The show had everything that I fantasy. True love, innocence, romance & above all the character "MANAV"...!!!!

MANAV- The perfect man (atleast for me...!!!) and who other girl would not like the man of his dreams to possess qualities which Manav inhibited. His selfless love for his near one's as well as strangers, his devotion & sincerity for every work he did and top of all he had no relation whatsoever with the words like ego, attitude & greed..!!! He was self contented with whatever & however he had..!! All that he wished for was for others & his love archu...!!! His simplicity and all these qualities distinguished him from the other cool dude's out there...!!!

I think it was because of these distinguished qualities that he (ssr as manav) made his viewers cry with every traumatic phase the character went through. Why else would a simple character of a mechanic become so famous overnight that too considering today's trend of characters which dress up according to the latest trend with cool RayBan glasses and riding bikes like they driving from hell...!!! Every love story mostly has a hero- the prince charming who fulfills every wish of his princess but manav could barely fulfill archu's materialistic wishes but still he made her feel like princess in every little & big way possible. He stood beside her when she needed him the most, trusted her when her closed one's refrained from doing so & loved her like there's no tomorrow...!!!!

What makes manav special is that he has balanced out his responsibilities very well amongst his love & his family specially considering the fact that his other was endowed with all the vicious features of a mother-in-law...!!!! In short Manav is a guy that every mother,sister & wife craves for...!!! I can go & on about this magical character Manav but I'll stop here & yaa this character would not have been possible without Sushant Singh Rajput...!!! I just can't imagine anyone else who could have shaped this character so well...!!!! :) And yaa I wish I & every girl in this world gets her reall life Manav...!!!!
