you know why in a matter of one day the great granny Sulo raised this proposal to the headless archa nani?

Because with ARVI, teh shameless hormonal couple, even they know that the longer they wait, there might be another illegitimate child on teh way very soon, what with the rains in Bombay and all?

After all, Arjun-Purvi are always on the edge when it comes to rain and hut, and hormones? Plus, now that they are khullam khulla roaming, without the spouses, much more reason to worry. Pavitra jaldi baba...how can you forget?

I would do the same if I had grand children always wanting to hurriedly have one night stands because their hormones are too much for them to control.

Being wise for once I say! :P

I agree ...any normal parents would have gone to the airport to see her off, there would be some more hugging and crying...first of all, any normal parent would have asked when is her flight?😆 But ArMaan are not normal parents, PR is not a realistic show and Ekta and CVs have no logic!

Or perhaps Archu was already very upset abt Ovi's departure and shes still recovering from her "illness" so Manav didnt want her to take more emotional stress by going to the airport? 😳

BTW where is Teju? Shes MIA since that rain dance episode! 😕 I hope Mrinalini has not left the show already since her intended Sunny has quit?

Why would Deshmukhs lose Ovi forever? They have more than enough money to visit Ovi in Canada anytime they want. I also didnt get why Archu was expressing her fears to Manav that she lost Ovi forever. Will they kill Ovi's character in the show? 😕

As for ArVi marriage, Ovi herself told Arjun to marry Purvi and even asked him to invite her to the wedding and said she will surely come.

As for Archu taking food to the hotel, that is the only thing a mother can do in such circumstances...take along Maa ke haath ka khana...because Ovi wont listen to her pleading to stay at D house.

KC gang, here is one argument

What arjun did if the same was done by Purvi or Ovi , sleep with two brothers , would the world not point a finger at them ? Then why is arjun allowed to walk away being happy to his love ?

If soham slept with a girl who slept with two brothers, would archu ever want that? While the other is alive , they want their daughter to marry that guy ?

Even the sick kardashians wouldnt do that

It is obvious to anyone who watched the episode that Sulchana and Archu both were moved to listen to the mother of the friend, discussing the importance of family where there is a child, and happiness for their children. Their faces expressed it all. There was not one flickering iota or smidgen of an inch of thinking or talk about money. To say that money was the issue has no bearing in fact or reality of the dialogue or the storyline.

Sulo realized as she listened to the woman, what every K family member knows, and what every Deshmukh knows That the proper rishta was always between Arjun and Purvi. And listening to the mother talk, and watching the children, Sulo realized what had to be done.

I would love to have a mother like Sulo and/or a grandma like her. I think she is wonderful. She's made some mistakes, yes. but she loves her children and grandchildren and wants what is best - even for Ovi.

As to "the next day" and Ovi isn't even landed yet. Three things: 1I) Ovi treated Sulo terribly, and rudely and even though she has now changed she never gave Sulo respect in the past, so there is no natural closeness. Still Sulo would want what's best, and she knows wisely that the best for Ovi is not with Arjun. 2) Ovi has been gone a month, in Canada. Ovi has always done her own thing. From the beginning. She doesn't let anyone else tell her or advise her. She is very much an arbitrary action character. Archu and Manav said their good byes at the home. Ovi preferred to do this on her own. ArMan respected that decision thus did NOT accompany her to the airport.

..and thirdly...If the show is leaping in August, or ending in August, we are almost in the time frame for the changes. Things have to be done fast enough to bring closure to the existing stories.😃

They would never want me to marry my sister's ex husband

So when ovi comes down to India she will see arjun and purvi together ?

And what does ovi disrespecting sulo has to do with anything ? Sulo is her grandma , she doesnt have the responsibility to think about hr ? is pari the first kid to be without married parents ? :o

The point isnt if arvi reunites or not, the point is they are a gross fanily who want to tie their daughter to a m who slept with both sisters, cheated on ovi when he was commited to her if purvi was my daughter id die but never let my daughter be with such a man

honey in real life it happens often that a man courts one sister then marries the other, or marries one but not the one they loved and divorce and marry the loved one. (or woman to man). There is nothing immoral or illicit about it. It's simply like you said, how your own family has chosen to have traditions that suit them,so that is fine. These events are outside your own tradition but not illegal, immoral or wrong. I'ts not fair or right to judge others by your family's traditions and we aren't supposed to bring those up on the forum I think.

Sulo is her grandma and Ovi had the responsibility to treat her with respect which she did not. Sulo's understanding that Ovi's happiness lies NOT with Arjun, but elsewhere is the wisest of all . She has more respect for Ovi than everyone who tried to force her into a relationship that was wrong.

But this episode wasn't about that. Just because they can't cram everything into the 30 minutes doesn't mean a certain attitude or action or thinking doesn't exist. However this episod was about showing that the Rishta always was and should be between Arjun and Purvi and the realization thereof.

PS.. I would have liked to see a little more time evolve also, perhaps a mon'ths leap, then to show what transpired today. But you have to understand the writers have a time frame, and they have to cram it in in an "unrealisitic" time sequence. 😛
