She accuses Purvi of stealing when Teju has removed the album and Manav yells at Purvi (really, Manav???), she does not want Purvi saved when she is kidnapped in error in her (Ovi's) stead, she clearly states, "what does it matter to us if Purvi is dead or alive" how truly inspiring that she is speaking her evil mind, 👏👏 so truthful this exemplary girl.
Ovi has been raised with sanskars in Canada by Savita, she is after all the bio child of ARMAN, how respectful she is in her saas' home, strapless chudidhars instead of frocks, mangalsutra and neverending supply of juice!! Wah! wah! Ill-treating elders (expecting Archana to maam her, cook for her, carry her shopping), turning up her nose at chawl living is all completely ideal.
Ovi constantly washes her dirty linen in public but that is okay too. Of course, Arjun cannot mention he is married to her, that is a matter of her losing her modeling contract. Oh no, she got sued once for lying for not letting on about her engagement and now she is actually married?? Will not do, secret has to be protected at all costs, poor girl, she is at her wits' end and has only her career to fall back on, and of course, her drinking. Let us not forget those drinking buddies of hers, guys too! That message on the phone from a guy inviting her to her favortie bar!! When all this can be excused, what is a mere 'why did you not abort Pari"? She really should have asked, "why didnt you throw yourself at the marriage fire and immolate yourself, Purvi?" Purvi is referred to as Purevi (for Pure evil, I am guessing), I don't see anyone using the same kind of acronyms for Ovi.
If Ovi is criticized, it is a witch hunt, if Purvi is bashed it is because society in India is unforgiving and so we need to see her punished. But we the viewers are not part of that reel society so there is no harm in understanding the issues of Pari's paternity, I am hoping.
