Anshi that's not true 😆. Gurmeet wants to go to BW for sure but he didn't want to leave PV at all. The channel wanted GC out of the show and so there were articles going around how GC was being unprofessional and all. He and the PV PH cleared everything up. But the channel was not content and wanted to kill off Yash's character and do a lot of gimmicks which GC and the PH didn't want. If GC wanted to leave PV, he wouldn't have cared so much about what happens to his character but he held his ground that he wasn't going to leave PV nor was he going to let Yash get killed.

But see this is what I mean, the channel is selfish and egotistical and they have done this a few times before. Remember with Ankita, how the channel kept allowing blame to be thrown on her just because she wanted to leave PR? Articles kept mocking Ankita just because she didn't want to play a mother. What was so wrong in that? Most actresses would do the same. When there are plenty of actresses who don't want to take up the role of a mother, even to a young kid, here is Ankita playing mom to five grown kids, all near her age. She had every right and reason to leave. Yet no one from the PH stood up for her and she was made to look like she was ungrateful when the truth is she had given her heart and soul into creating Archana for almost 4 years.

Yes I was reminded of the situation with Sushant as well when this happened. Except instead of the PH wanting to tarnish the character of Yash like Ekta Mata wanted to damage Manav's character, it was the channel.

And the actors of PV know all the politics that's been happening lately with the show because of the channel. The show did have low TRPs but the channel worked out a season 2 with the PH because the channel thinks the concept of punar vivah is a marketable concept and that the story is bigger than the actors. Most of us aren't happy with the new season since it's the same concept just different characters. Maybe there will be some changes but who knows.

That reminds me I heard that Ekta still wants Ankita to be Archana. I remember in Kkusum when Nausheen quit and Ekta brought in Mansi Joshi Roy, she was unhappy with the replacement and tried getting Nausheen back. In fact I believe Mansi leaving Kkusum had a lot to do with EK's behavior because even when Mansi played Kkusum there were reports that Ekta was trying to bring Nausheen back into the show. Poor Mansi had to leave and she said she was leaving because she had to take care of her daughter but it seemed to me it was mostly because Ekta was unsatisfied with her.
