It is also typical that your husband and all the rest only remember that your MIL wept a lot, not that she did nothing practical to help her son.
Well, as for Purvi, she is not even up to your MIL' s standards, for she seems to have forgotten all about Onir's hands in five minutes.
This said,and as the CVs seem to be eco-conscious in that they believe firmly in recycling😉, what can be logically deduced from Onir's stint with the mango boxes?
Onir is doing a Manav to make a bit of money (remember how Manav too emptied a truck to earn the money to move into a chawl, and away from the pavement where he had left an ill Archana)
If the CVs are going to push the parallel between Onir and Manav further, a Good Samaritan is due to arrive soon and open a new door for Onir, just as Aashna, and then DK, did for Sushant/Manav. It only remains to be seen if there is also an accident as on that occasion, with Onir left for dead on the road, till the aforesaid GS arrives.

so many times in the real world it happens...many just look at worried/crying face, thats all...
here is one example from my memories...it happened few days after my wedding...my husband got hurt on his hands, i was not there with my husband when it happened, i came back from my maika after an hour, i was surprised to see the wound and was shocked as nothing was did to cure it, not sure what to talk, i gave a sad look to my dad who came to drop me, he went and got things needed to cover the wound as we couldn't ask where is first aid box...my MIL was crying so much as it was hurting her son...it was not too big wound, but it happened on right hand fingers it will sure hurt him...i did not cry, i have put band-aids/dressing as needed...and i asked my husband did he have food, i mixed rice for him and gave in a bowl with spoon as i was so new there and couldn't try to feed him in-front of everyone...
this situation happened several years back...as we live far from India there are many less scenarios which we have in-person...till now everyone including my husband says how MIL cried and how much she loves her son...but you know till now i never understood how a mom can leave the wound like that(atleast put haldi from your kitchen) and how a mom did not see the empty stomach of son...i am not saying my MIL doesn't love her son, but don't give me that scenario as example...
but whatever, i had that moment with my husband in initial days of wedding which i never forget, i wish i didn't care about everyone and fed him with my hands...also can never forget the romance with the wound hand in initial days of wedding(yup i am blushing...)...
