Chapter 4: When boy meets girl
Purvi is standing alone in the roof. It is the early morning time, the sun just kissed the sky from east,birds are out from nest and Purvi is really loving this morning in India. This is some kind of new beginning of life. She wants to forget the last night experience with her papa. She is trying to rectify her mood which swings so often.
Arjun comes early to meet Purvi. Manav informs him that she is standing alone at roof. Arjun knows that Manav uncle has the habit of doing meditation during early morning. Arjun comes up very slowly so that nobody can hear anything, he sees Purvi and holds her eyes from the back.
"who is that? please leave my eyes" Purvi claims, "Is that Arjun? Arjun please leave my eyes, it's paining now"
"how do you Purvi it's me???" a big smile comes to Arjun's face.
Purvi turns back. Her long straight hairs fall into her face, the wind is blowing in her face through her hairs and this looks something extra ordinary to Arjun. Whereas our Arjun, simple in blue check shirt and blue denim, his typical attire for all times. They hug each other - for one this is "dostiwala jhappi" and for another "journey of heaven". Yes, sometimes we become so happy by small fulfilling of our desire.
"so, how was your days in Australia? Did you miss me ever? how many friends have you made there??" asks Arjun
"that country is amazing Arjun, off course I missed you so much, I missed our childhood fights. sharing of foods" Purvi smiles and continues "now, don't ask how many friends I have, ask me who all those poor guys missed my company. You know Arjun, boys are simply crazy, they love Indian girls so much, you look at this tab, this is my first ever valentine gift from my boyfriend. " Purvi says, she totally has gone to that country which she already left.
"ohh, you have got many friends there, that's good, so you have some one special too...Purvi, I think you hardly think about me na???" Arjun now is becoming sad, but he does not want to be..
"arre nahi baba, they love me, I just love their company and attraction..but, you are my best friend forever.." Purvi replies and hugs him again. "Tell me something about you also Arjun, ladki pataya kya nahi? and heard that you are doing seminars and all, aaa haaa, not bad, Arjun has become serious with his studies too..."
Arjun smiles, he forgets everything when gets this little hug, "kya kare, you were not there to do my maths homework nah, so I had to do my entire homework alone, huh, so presenting here Arjun The Genius in front of you ma'am" he giggles while doing a bow (actually Purvi also starts laughing here by seeing the funny gesture of Arjun )and continues "so be ready for college, I will pick you and introduce you in the first day of your college, be ready on time ha.."
"yea sure..bbye Arjun" Purvi shows her hands..
Purvi is now happy soul. Arjun has come and her sorrow vanishes so quickly. Now, she starts feeling good about India for the first time.
