I guess what u are forgetting is that this is a tv show not real life. The society would have been disgusted in the first place that pvi broke purviz marriage!
U might say that ovi was engaged to arjun first and rightfully in the eyes of the society was her fiancee. But arjun broke off the engagment in front of everyone and delcared his love for purvi.
In india the boy has the final say. If he didnt want to get married to ovi nobody was gonna point fingers at him.
As it usually happens people always blame the women for everything in tradional families and if people might have not been disgusted that ovi forced arjun to marry her, then i dont see any reason why they might be disgusted if he marries purvi after being legally divorced from a women who blackmailed him into marriage!

As time goes by, purvi will learn to love onir. Love should be patient and kind and Onir gives that kind of love to purvi all the time. Their love for each other will be deeper as it will grow slowly but surely... and not just any kind of puppy love. What Onir and Purvi have is more than what meets the eye! And soon more than what arjun and purvi felt for each other... Onir and Purvi will grow old together just like her grandma sulochana and her husband.
