But why will Punni suspect that Purvi is pregnant with Arjun's child. There wasn't any reason to, for Purvi and Onir were shown married and respectable. There isn't any reason to suspect anything else.

I agree with Shalininaik's first post abt baby swapping Onir had orig done and than 2nd swapping per Purvi's insistance...According to the article few weeks back..

If Onir is that demented as to have done a double switch - giving Ovi's baby to Purvi and then switching them back, Onir might very well ask for a DNA test for a match between Arjun and the baby.

Lastly, I repeat myself, but all that Onir has to do to spike Mittal's guns is to ask for the DNA matches to be done between him and the baby, and Arjun and the baby. That will show that the baby is Arjun's and so it will be assumed that it is Ovi's baby. Let us see if Onir is allowed by the CVs to take this escape route.

I have no great hopes that this will in fact happen, for they have not shown Onir as at all street smart or particularly quick at tackling sticky situations. He seems be too straightforward and too little chaalu, in short, as Varsha put it. kachcha. See how he commits the crowning folly of actually telling Mittal that he is going to lodge a complaint against him with the police! What did he think Mittal would do, wait to be arrested? A cleverer man would have kept absolutely quiet and then lodged the complaint without any warning, and kept himself in the background. Of course he should have reported the Kundan affair, with the dead boy from the chawl, to the police at once, and he realises that now. But the way he handles a rattlesnake like Mittal, confronting him frontally and warning him in advance, is pure idiocy.

It seemed from the precap that Arjun and Ovi do not believe that there was any baby swap. So Onir must have taken refuge in some obfuscation or the other, or perhaps even a lie direct. to save the situation for his mishti. Lord Krishna would have approved, for he says in the Gita that a lie that helps someone is better than a hundred truths.

Imagine everyone's surprise if there was no match between Arjun and the baby. Arjun might in turn demand a DNA test to prove if it is Onir's baby, again no match between Onir and baby.

Romil might yet end up being the dad! 🤣

Shyamala, glad you liked the crack, deep bow ;) I wrote that last post in haste, on my phone, need to go correct the atrocious writing :) but it would be fun if they played merry go round with the DNA testing. There would be some levity to look forward to instead of this constant moroseness :( Even the frames look darker, and you are right, Onir is too kaccha, no street smartness, zero, zilch!! :( He is way out of his league with a shark like Mittal, combine that with a pemanent spy (Punni) and Onir is done for! Hope Purvi comes out of her lethargic zombie state and makes good on her promise to Arjun "choddoongi nahin" whoever has cast aspersions on her saintly do good husband.

Come on, Purvi, this is a clarion call to you, snap out, cast off those cumbersome saris, return to those old faded chudidhars that infused so much fire in you! Silence that Punni tai of yours and her crook husband!
You have to save Soham dada, reform dear Ovi to a permanent state of good, return Arjun to some semblance of happiness, get your Aai out of her coma, and very little time! Purvi, you have promises to keep and miles to go before you sleep!
