I agree

it is very very unlikely that she will do anything for Onir

she made Onir clear all the dirt that was hers but she herself remained carefully clean

this muck was hers not at all his

he could have at the most agreed not to judge her by her past and offered marraige , but he made her problem his own and did everything to wipe her mess , dealt with the blackmailer , framed reports , adjusted with her maika , swapped babies ...Onir truly did everything only for her . He was a fool , coz if found out nothing would happen to her but everything would happen to him and this muck wasn't even his !

If he is arrested the lovestruck idiot will tell her to protect herself and face the flak gallantly on her behalf just like Arjun took the slap with a quixotic expression on his face [ a pained smile as if his ladylove deserved every bit of protection] .

Purvi doesn't care if people 's kidneys r sold and if they die in the process ...she wants to just guard her shameful secret and go on living there comfortably without any hassles , without antagonising Manju or Punni

actually she has first hand experience of Mittal

but she does not care about all that , she is only interested in saving her own butt

Onir is drinking water from her palms and says they were justified in swapping babies as they wanted to improve others lives etc ...her influence of course but

the very fact that he did this case ultimately on Mittal and him telling her that so what if he is family , what is wrong is wrong and organ trafficking is wrong shows that something from the old persona flickers still ...it is not fully dead yet .

Unfortunately he has quixotically chosen a wrong time to do it . He has himself narrowly escaped by a case done on him and it would have been best if he had left for Kolkata by tipping the police that organ trafficking goes on in hospitals owned by Mittal but he cannot come in the picture for professional reasons but to keep an eye on him . The police would have complied and life would not have been easy for Mittal . But this direct panga with Mittal may cost him everything for 99% Purvi will leave him to face the music alone .

Bear with my ignorance but Im not Indian so im not familiar with Indian Sanskaar but as a Human i can highly see some mistakes as more detrimental as others or even saying one has more sanskaar than another when they all did wrong.drinking alcohol while beign pregnant is good upbringing, suicide to get what you want is good upbringing, knowing that a signature on a piece of document is forged but yet allowing it in court as a real signature and not objecting to such wrong practices is good upbringing and not a crime of fraud?Punni having an affair with a married man is good sanskaar than purvi having pre-marital sex with her fiance is worse?? soham in a gang and kidnapping other people's children is good sankskaar?
I guess we only see what we want to see and raise the issues that only fit our argument but yet we forget the rest that makes the whole picture clear. when highlighting one's fault or good it must be balanced by their other side as well...my opinion ,but I am glad i dont have one sided Indian sanskaar but see both the good and bad in one's mistake nor ignore the bad because i just feel to.but say what to each his own.how can you be a goon and have strong fundamental values? a goon is a good person?

Er ...i have said that if Ovi persists in her drinking she should be handed to social securities...in fact i was the only one in the forum who suggested this measure

and why should goons not have family values ...they do have a family life apart from their gundaism

regarding typical indian values they r best understood if one is an indian coz no value shown in this serial is universally common but they have harped and harped on indian sanskaars

and regarding seeing what one wants to see i agree but it goes both ways .

hello everyone! Great posts hilly, kolos, pari. Awesome post Teju 👏

Here comes the addict (moi) who is on her way to achieve IF's highest level-hiarchy LOL. I have lost 9000 post under my old Id MrspetloverUS 😭 So call me an addict if I care 😛

Read last 10 pages. Sorry last two days i had no WIFI access.

I wanted to make one point why I think onir is as bad as Telu Mittal..

Mittal does organ trafficking of random people w/o any thought or his benefits. Money to be precise.

While Onir does baby swapping of kids who are supposed to be his own family member & patient in the name of goodness for someone. Actually I consider him even worse than Mital. He is breaking his medical vows and being inhuman by betraying his patient - sister in law Ovi.

I do want his license to be taken away as he is put behind bars.

My POV of course.

Hi Shyamala,

Excellent Post!!

I am so glad someone knows that story😆

Yes, you are so right, Delilah did go back to Samson and died with him. Something Purvi will never do for either Arjun or Onir.
However, I was trying to take out my piece regarding how she got him to tell her the secret of his strength.😆

Purvi is a piece of work.

Hey everyone 🤗
Btw, have been travelling so haven't been able to post much 😳
read all the posts here, all excellent and absolutely apt.
Just one thing I wanted to add. It was only yesterday I saw a thread on TRPs, and personally I felt that the fall in TRP is the way Purvi has been characterized so far. It is so hard to accept her as a lead - premarital sex, her dumping off Arjun, giving away the child, her mockery of marriage, when most Indian probably side with Onir and thinks he is a good hubby to support his wife, and gets nothing in return. Besides, Purvi sitting in her maikka is so unacceptable, when she is making no effort at all to move forward in life. I find her character hard to accept, wonder what the housewives thinks 😳
My POV of course...

@Chinyere,

With all due respect in response to the Indian Sanskaar.

Generally, on this forum when Indians speak of Sanskaars, they are speaking of values , and I doubt very much they are differentiating them from other parts of the world.

No one in KC gang, said that Ovi was right to drink, Soham should be a goon, Punni should have an affair with a married man. I have never once seen that on KC. We all criticised these behaviours.

The only point we were trying to make is that with all those faults, they have other good ways just like anyone else. Do you know anyone who has 100% bad values? I am sure you don't, so we were just pointing that out in our posts.

Also, our main reason for expressing ourselves this way is because ever since the leap, it has been forced down our throats by the CVs that Archana and Sulochana have the best Sanskaars, so Purvi is perfect since she was brought up by them.

We have only been highlighting the irony of the situation that she clearly does not have any better Sanskaars than Archana's real children. Meaning she is no greater than them, and they are no less than her.
Due to the fact that she is a pathological liar, had pre-marital sex and treated it like a one night stand, by moving on from Arjun, and she encourages others to do wrong things with her. Like when she wanted Arjun to lie in court to save her brother. When she asked Onir to do the baby swap with her. So, we choose to point out these things, because Archana's real children are deemed as bad only, due to Manav and Savita's upbringing.

I don't think Indians are arrogant enough to think they have special Sanskaars than the rest of the world.

However, they do have particular Sanskaars that are unique to their culture, like touching of the feet of elders to show respect and to get their blessings. They make more effort to show respect to elders than in any other culture I know. In other cultures elders are not even considered the head of the home, no one cares for their input.

Young ladies must not stay out late at night. Or visit a boy's home without being chaperoned. Married women must conduct themselves in a certain manner.
There are more, but you will have to get that from the Indians on the forum.

KC gang, I hope I did not give any incorrect information.😃

Hi Kalapi🤗

Nice to see you🤗 Aren't you the lucky one travelling😃 Hope you had a great time.

I totally agree with your Post. Purvi character is unacceptable by any standards😆 I wonder what the housewives think too😉

She was such a heroine one time, the CVs really did a number on her character, I almost feel sorry for her..almost. 😆

Varsha Homie🤗

I sure miss you😃

I agree with you that Onir is worse than Mittal. Mittal is evil no secret about it. However, Onir is portrayed as a good guy who loves his wife, but is willing to illegally swap babies, break medical vows, which is one of the ethics code of conduct in Medicine etc.
When a person is evil and you know his face it is upsetting, but when a person pretends to be good and does evil, it makes be Angry.😡
