My dearest Pari, Onir was never made of such stuff, and by now his Circe of a Mishti has knocked out whatever stuffing there was in him to begin with, so that he is like a straw puppet, poor chap. Or the shorn Samson. At least Delilah loved Samson after her own twisted fashion. Purvi does not love anyone, except perhaps Archana.

I agree I haven't watched the episodes yet so do not have the context well probably. so you may be right about what he said in what context. I still do think baby swap was very wrong and it may not equate to organ traficking but it makes Onir more of a criminal in my mind is because he is a doctor, an OBGYN who did it. He used to walk around with a lot of advice about babies and motherhood to Ovi and simply having delivered so many babies in his lifetime or having so much experience with moms, he should have done better than being blind in love. What he means there is not that he should get brownie points for his samaj seva and should thus not be penalised for the baby swapping, He is not referring to that charge at all, as is clear from what he says next at this point.He is in fact referring to the organ trafficking charge, of which he knows that he is completely innocent.

What he means is that because of his life having been dedicated to serving the poor without any remuneration, he has built up such a solid reputation that no one would attach any credence to an organ trafficking charge against him. That is a very different thing from claiming some sort of immunity from the baby swapping charge because he has done so much good to the poor. When you have rewatched that passage, you will agree with me.

Kools you are so right Onir has gotten so cocky, where did he get so much ba🤬 ? I leave him to Purvi making him take the fall. He will lose his license and she will comfort him at nights, saying they did the right thing and nothing is wrong with living in a chawl.

hilly i hope he gets paid good and proper for this cockiness ...what i cannot accept is someone who has done a mistake not becoming introspective about his own but rushing forward to unravel the mistakes of others , be it sleaze bags or anyone else . Onir has now made this an ego battle , it was evident from the way he talked to Mittal today . Funny how things have changed , you are standing where i was standing yesterday... .yada yada . i have been missing for a few days and havent really watched any epis in the last week or 10 days ish. but ever since that arvi petition got on the news there has been more bashing of non-arvi fan groups. well i want to sign that petition and get arvi back together cos non of this is fair on arjun, ovi, pari or onir. everyone has been bashing ovi for getting pari and happiness whilst purvi is sad (ovi is a bad selfish mother who doesnt deserve pari). well i dnt think ovi wanted to particularly raise her husband's love child- she didnt ask for it, she doesnt know that her baby is dead. it was purvi's decision. im wondering is everyone watching the same show as me? ovi is a wonderful mum to pari and purvi gave her away like a toy for absolutely no reason! why is there even a debate as to who is the better mother?!? guys these are fictional characters and thus its ok to be an extreme fan of couples, characters etc. but dont forget that your choice will propagate what message the media passes down to our children and future generations. i for one never want to pass on the message to my children that it is ok to have relationships with your siblings partners (both purvi and ovi), i most certainly dont want my kids to think its ok to have unprotected sex before you r ready to conceive, irresponsibly get pregnant, drink during pregnancy, baby swap, pass children and husbands around like its a joke. this show is really sick and fans should not propagate such nonsense. at this point the right message would be for everyone to come clean and move on- whether its arvi or arovi and punir. ovi needs to tell arjun her feelings. we have seen her tell the world but she needs to tell him everything- her love, her pain, her insecurities everything. arjun needs to fess up to himself who he wants and loves and then confess to ovi and purvi. right now he seems only to be with ovi cos nothing 'better' is available. same goes for purvi and onir. they are not honest in their relationships.

Your penultimate para simply blew me away. I have never before read, in this forum, such a beautifully conceived, lucidly written, and very, very convincing description of what each of the conflicted quartet - Purvi, Arjun, Ovi and Onir - is to the other, and what these reactions and expectations mean, to each of them and to the others. Quite simply beautiful.

psychologists define chemistry as effortless, sexual mutual attraction that has no basis in reality. that is precisely what arvi is. and it is important to share chemistry but for me there are other things that are much more important. for purvi arjun was like the sea- extraordinarily blue and beautiful, an adrenaline rush to swim in, overwhelming in its grandeur but could not sustain her in its salty water. onir is like the river-not that interesting, refreshing not thrilling but steady in its sustenance. similarly for arjun purvi uprooted his very being and took him from his home and world and thrust him into her own. she is the fire that burnt him in trying to warm him. ovi on the other hand shared his world with him and became a part of it. she keeps him rooted in his own world. she is the fire that stands to protect him and would warm him if he stood a little closer.

but even then if chemistry is more important than marriage then atleast have some decency left in the show and come clean.
