Finally Join the crowd..PR has men who have become ullus and lallus at the hands of beautiful women..Women can take them to court, declare them ambitious and prove them dishonest, snatch kids out of husband's hand thinking her sister has completely recovered from her psychotic behavior, defame husband, promise kids to sister or aborting a child w/o consulting husband, dumping fiance the night before marriage after sleeping with him, forcing him to consummate the marriage and than swapping of babies...Lies galore..
This is why some of us feel the way we do...by watching the show and what is out there happening in 21 st century in the name of love..I am not saying it is in every case but good % of cases.
Sulo in her time, Archana, Varsha & Purvi now..These women are perfect exmaple of Vashi karan or Vash karna with their beauty..
What kools mentioned about the guys and the girls is mere fact...If you read my posts you might have caught me writing abt MCPs during my time and FCPs now in the name of equality...
Kanyadaan VS Purtadaan now..
If you have daughters you are in heaven and in power...If you have sons who have to be walking on eggshells to keep not only your son-dil happy but samdhis too..
Things have changed 180 degree around..Flip Flop...In your words Ulta..Though I respect your views on Ovi and I share views similar to kools and Pari does not matter...We simply agree to disagree with respect 😳
Abt the para from your post above..

I want my Khadoos Ladla back and I want her to end up forced to go back to him for what she did. And I want to see him breathing fire...smoke come out of his ears...when he realizes she not only threw his love back in his face, emotionally blackmailed him into a loveless marriage, and then proceeded to mess with his right for not just one, but both of his babies. Nope...no happy ending or fairy tale ending for her.
I want Arjun to go back to his oggie khadoos I call it Confident assertive self.😃 I would not want Purvi to get him back even to teach her any lesson..For that reason only Arjun should make his marriage work and slap it in Purvi's face for destroying his life...Forget about Ovi for a sec..But what she did to Arjun the guy who she claimed to love and the innocent baby.

If he was the khadoos who first came from Canada, he would straighten her out in no time. That ladla of mine handed her the pink slip the moment he walked off the plane remember?? He could have cared less what her finances were, how mahanta or sanskari she was, who her Aai was, etc. If he were in that Avatar again, I would pay double the ticket price to see what he would do when he finds this all she has done. Wonder how on earth she would manage to get back into his good graces. Really I would.
Knowing the type of guy Arjun was he would have never fell for girl like Purvi..SHe was a novelty and he was attracted to her..The more she did not give him bhaav his attraction developed to an obsession...If Ovi's love is an obsession for Arjun (One sided) than so is Arjun's so called love for Purvi an one sided obsession..My take..

I have blamed Ovi for putting the deal forward, marrying a dude who does not love her, Hoped she would dump him and move to canada..
I have blamed Arjun for handling Ovi, Purvi situation badly, marrying Ovi when he did not love her, Consummating marriage on ex lover's commands, and eyelokcing with ex lover in front of his wife and god doing puja..
Purvi takes the cake IMHO in taking the most blames the way she has destroyed so many lives around..She needs to pay by being single and lonely rest of her life..Ruining Arjun and Onir's life but the worst thing is ruining that little innocent baby's life..

This is why I have turned over to Ovi, she is real and flawed and I do beleive I disliked her for being spoilt and tantrum-types and also for being so blind as to not see that Arjun loved someone else. But I do blame a part of that psyche on Arjun, not having sat her down and been calm and nice about the breakup. He just broke it on her. she took time to get out of depression and delusions. But now she is shining more than Purvi's fake halo and more than Arjun's pitiable love. She has redeemed herself and I wish the forum that hates her with a vengeance could see that. That is what I mean when I say objectivity, which lacks throughout. :P

This is not to offend anyone, was just putting my point across as to how someone who hated her, loved ARVI and rooted for them, switched over to her side :)

Pari, though I have not turned to Ovi, I agree with you on the rest about Arjun. To me Arjun is the most flawed character of all. For a smart, shrewd businessman, he does no thinking at all. It is all impulse. He agrees to marry Ovi on impulse but later decides to drop her like a hot potato with no talk or explanation. While being betrothed to her, he proceeds to woo Purvi. Has no guts to own up to his love at the party, gets engaged instead to Ovi, leads Ovi up the garden path for a second time, then persists in running after Purvi while being engaged to Ovi, holding on to her arm publicly at that presentation and hounding her with attention while still doing nothing about telling Ovi. Even when Ovi meets him on the street and falls all over him, this after his declaration to Manav about loving Purvi, he still desists from telling Ovi the truth, his words if I remember right for the reason he was moving to the chawl was that he had to do this, for himself. He kisses Purvi on the forehead, acts so indignant that he could be thought to have anything other than pure motives yet when he gets her alone, approaches her twice at that hut even after she has moved away and does what he should not have done. After that night, he still agrees to marry Ovi at Purvi's "insistence" and people justify his behavior by saying he was bemused with Purvi. Really, if that is what love is, messed up just as much as Ovi's is, I would want nothing of it ever. He marries Ovi, goes on to lead the semblance of a normal life, no thinking even of the word divorce or annulment and again because Purvi tells him to has marital relations with his wife. What a sorry excuse! This done, he still imagines his ex-love by his side, poor Arjun, what can he do, his wife is a witch and he was forced into this relationship against his will and Purvi needs to be punished for taking away his happiness. Wife pregnant, he still does not stop, he continues to make moon eyes at his ex-love. No, I definitely would not want him back for Purvi.

Perhaps, Ovi's punishment has been meted out - to live with a man such as this, no backbone, no spine, making sheep's eyes at another man's wife.

In one of my very first posts after Arjun had serenaded Purvi, I had written that he cares not a whit about propriety and Purvi's fate. Turns out I was more than right. What good would have come out of Purvi telling Arjun about the baby (clearly, he has a right to know the result of what he did that night), I doubt he would have left Ovi for Purvi, he would have thought twice about his dad's name and since Ovi was already pregnant with his (hopefully) child, he would have stayed put by his wife's side.

Why wish more ignominy on Purvi? Why wish that she be exposed and pay for something that both, Arjun and she, did? Why take pleasure in seeing her humiliated? because she snatched Arjun's happiness from him? (which he readily let go anyway) Or because Arjun prefers her over Ovi and for that she has to pay? I don't agree with that train of thinking. I am glad she found Onir, I hope she sticks to Onir, baby dhaan or not. None of the Ds really give a hoot about her and she needs to get a life of her own.

Sorry if I offended anybody. I loved Arjun too but he fell from his pedestal, hard and strong to the point of no return. 😕

Why she did not tell Arjun ...simple . Coz Arjun was besotted by the girl he met in India . But she didn't tell Purvi not to tell Arjun . Btw why did Purvi not tell Arjun ?😆😆 Undoubtedly niswaarth motives .

vash karna is not to usurp SW . And it is not my interpretation ...i am telling facts . I had no wish of implying that Purvi was a sorceress but dear u used that verb first . I merely explained the meaning . And while explaining i gave an example ...that if at all it is to be used why not use it to describe the woman who has men jumping through loops for her inspite of getting nothing from her . Both Onir and Arjun have got zilch from her .

Where has Arjun not been blamed for not using his brains ? 😕 In fact in this very thread i have made a post blaming him and insisted he take responsibility for his action .

That said ...i wish to say something here . If he had not listened to her conditions then ...he would have been bashed as a lover by those very people who say he should have used his own brains . They shrug their shoulders coz ARVI r not together today and perhaps their purpose today is saying Purvi alone is not to be blamed as her deeds have gotten out of hand ...but maybe CVs showed Arjun that way coz young girls expect lovers to be that way today ...obedient to the hilt ????????? Dunno .

The custody battle will perhaps never happen ? I do so hope though it should and i want Arjun to win .

That said Lets agree to disagree 😉

Kools, yes, let us agree to disagree with the clarification that I first used "vash" for Ovi not Purvi.

Not sure why the CVs portrayed Arjun thus, no young girl should want a guy like Arjun who readily abandons her at her bidding.

Jahnavi I agree with abv abt Arjun completely...I have repeatedly said he did not handle the situation right..Falling for fiance~'s sister is not right...Not only All 3 acted immaturely but the grown up 50s and 70 yrs old acted immaturely...Neither Archana talked to Purvi nor did DK talked to Arjun abt it...Archana should have kept her stand in saying She does not want either daughter be involved with Arjun..Sisterhood is thicker than a mere attraction or infatuation...We all call our first love as love but in most cases it is just a infatuation or an attraction phase which we all move on from..
Chalo we may not agree abt Purvi but we agree on something abt Arjun..
I have the same issue with Manav abt it...I supported him for so long but one cant blame the lady who wants to control when the guys are ready to jump thru the hoops and be controlled..sad sad sad..

But i feel a bit sorry for them . They r both so young and pardon me ...silly ... somehow i feel the girl is more careful and brainy . If they were really smart ...they would have not done satyanash of their own life . Both Arjun and Onir have done that .

I am with you on this Arch ! Sorry Kools and Pari, I do understand what you are saying but my dislike iof Ovi runs too deep to ever forgive her and I dont care how goody she turns. Let us just leave it at that. But, yes, as far as Purvi and Arjun are concerned, i want retribution/redemption/payback or whatever u want to call it for all Purvi did to Arjun, from the night on the hilltop to the baby swapping. All done in the name of love, for everyone except him, and using his love to emo blackmail him ! If anyone else has done this to him, it wouldnt matter as much but from a person who once professed her love for him is unforgivable. If she had the given the baby to Arjun for the sole reason that she wanted to make up to him for the unhappiness she has caused him, I would understand to some extent. But, no, she thought of Ovi and not him ! Purvi has done injustice to him again in both cases. She still hasnt told him it is his baby that he has now and also denied him the knowledge of the death of his other child. How much ever I dislike Ovi, she does not deserve not knowing the death of her child either. I have said this before and am saying it again that she robbed them the chance to grieve their child. Very callous and thoughtless of her. She probably didnt intend to, but that is how it is.
Yes, I would like Arjun to revert back to what he once was and be the self assertive no nonsense guy that he was, fight back for what is rightfully his..but, It probably is just a pipe dream of mine now, as PR is all about Purvi and the holy couple and nothing else.. Let me not even go to the mishtified Doc, please !! 😊

Thank u dear..got to defend our Ladla. Amazing how everyone seems to forget the slaps our boy took...the fact that Manav slapped the crap out of him, and he did not try to hide anything but tried to do right by her---even live in a chawl and become a car mechanic all of a sudden 😕. Also tried numerous times to let Ovi know before SHE surprised HIM by turning up. At the time he agreed to marry miss Ovi...he did not love her and she knew it. He also did not know he would end up meeting miss purvi and wind up in India more than 10 days. Convenient to forget all this isnt it?

Kools, we can feel sorry for them and for their foolish decisions, but life is such there is no rewind button. Live and learn, I guess.

He could have told her over the phone that Onir was asking him questions about them, why ask to meet her alone to tell her something important about Onir. And Soham, perhaps, had a point.
