Correction... Purvi broke it off with arjun the moment she found out about ovi... Neither did she want to have any relationship with him... And arjun never had to convince purvi that he loves her or never did he ask her to wait for him. His engagement wid ovi was sham and he immediately let everyone knw about it...
So d real jiju salli pair here is arjun-ovi :) ...

Correction too..
Arjun many times took chances whenever purvi is alone especially in the office and tell her he loves her and did not love ovi.
Correction number two..he never immediately let everyone know that he did not want to enggaged with ovi..he was spineless and speechless. All for his father's reputation. Then he never tell ovi and everyone that he loves purvi..he has no guts at all. Weak.
He just wait and wait until the matter get worst.

And as far as i am concerned..Arjun and ovi is husband and wife.
The real jeeju-saali pair here are Arjun and purvi.
Check the family tree if you don't trust me..

Both pairs were jijju-salli at differnt times. They are all immoral in their intentions. None of them seems to be able to take a decision and live with the consequences thereof. That is why we keep seeing htis indecision and yearning for that which must not be.

Arjun-Ovi were originally engaged so by that count Purvi was saali to begin with...Arjun dumped his fiance Ovi by making his saali Purvi his gharwali for a short time than he got dumped..So what went around came around...Now he is married to Ovi.
People seem to forget that Arjun and Ovi were engaged to be married to begin with...They just remember Arjun-Purvi's short term affair..

Maybe because Arjun didn't love Ovi? and because he loved Purvi? AND because he told everyone he loved Purvi afterwards? Maybe that's why everyone's forgetting about Arjun-Ovi's engagement. 🤔

Arjun Ovi = Reality
Arjun-Purvi's so called love = Fantasy and not reality
So reality remains as we have to finally accept it and Fantasy ends at sometime.

I don't see how it's fantasy if Arjun-Purvi still have feelings? What's the point of calling this show Pavitra Rishta if love just loses in the end and 'reality' wins?

At the end of the day Reality always wins
Love or no love...We must accept it whether we like it or dont...Better to face the reality or live in a delusional lala land..Remain in denial
Again what we see is very subjective..We see what we want to
Its all in the eyes of the beholder...someone sees love and some sees it as onesided love..Obsession beyond repair.
What is seen or has been called for Ovi may also apply to Arjun..
Purvi has never loved anyone but herself..

Well, my dear, this question has become redundant by now, as it has been shown that the blackmailer is Vinay, but I found this speculation, and the comments below about Onir, very revealing.

I feel that people have become so cynical now that a transparently and consistently good character like Onir seems too good to be true (especially when it does not suit the same people that he should be exactly what he seems to be!), and so they look around and speculate about possible negative aspects to him. The more affectionate and protective and supportive he is of Purvi, the worse these people think of him. Given this kind of mindset, probably if Mahatma Gandhi were to turn up now, he too would seem 'too good to be true' and all sorts of hidden motives (known only to the cynics) would be attributed to him.

As for the dictum that "part of being good is to not keep on lying", you should then apply this maxim to Purvi as well, should you not? She lies right, left and centre, unblushingly and eternally, to her aai and her aaji and to everyone else - about her baby, her marriage, about why she left Mumbai, the works. So what colour should she be then, deep black?

I have no problem with Onir being criticised, but I do have problems with different yardsticks of goodness and morality being used for different characters.

Lastly, I am astonised at the comments that it is wrong to Onir, as a doctor, to keep the truth about Purvi's baby from Arjun.Apart from the fact that Purvi is his wife and she makes him promise that he will keep this secret, while Arjun is nothing to him, there is also the question of medical ethics. It is totally against a doctor's ethics to reveal anything about a patient, without the patient's consent, to ANYONE else. So, whether as her doctor or just as her husband, there is no way Onir would or should have let Arjun into Purvi's secret.

I AGREE, I THINK THE ONIR IS SHOWN SO GOODY GOODY , THAT HE JUST DOES NOT SEEM REAL. HE SEEMS LIKE HE IS PRETENDING TO BE GOOD. PART OF BEING GOOD IS TO STAND UP FOR WHAT IS RIGHT (NOT KEEP ON LYING) AND NOT JUST SAYING YES TO EVERYTHING JUST TO BE LIKED.

Actually, Onir has no right to reveal the secret even if he wants to simply because it is not his secret. He's only privy to the secret; the secret itself and the decision to keep it that way is Purvi's. And only she has the right to reveal it. Onir clearly has no problem is she does, because he directly confronted Arjun when he realized he was the father of purvi's child. He thought then that arjun knew about the baby being his, and he abandoned purvi and the baby both. So, it's a moot point blaming him for not revealing a secret that's not his to reveal.
