to the CVs - For a change it would be nice to see Ovi giving her 100% attention to the baby because of all that she has missed out in her life and the baby also getting very attached to Ovi..

2 good things can come out of this:

1. baby is crying and ovi is not around, the whole family trying to calm her down but it doesnt work, purvi tries and still doesnt work... finally ovi shows up and she is the only one who can control her... I would love to see Purvi's face at that time.

2. She gets too busy with the baby that she completely ignores arjun like she doesnt even need him. and arjun to realize this himself and this time he does his best to get Ovi's attention while realizing that he is falling in love with her...even if it is as his baby's mother, she does deserve more respect from her husband than what she is getting now.

Hilarious nautankies by Purvi

The first nautanky was at the D house where her supposed magical touch quietened the baby

why , r her hands magical or does her touch have the spell of Merlin

r mothers fools not to be able to quieten their babies and stay awake for long periods in the night...some babies have colic and its a big ordeal ...if magical touches r the antidotes wouldn't all mothers of new borns be happily dozing

The second nautanky was asking Onir to phone past midnight

And Onir the royal lallu phoned

she held his hands and wept exactly the same way she had done asking him to compromise his medical ethics

and that was enuf for the lallu ...he phoned at that time of the night for Lady Macbeth

before the nautanky started as usual he was sleeping on a chatai down like Ramu kaka

after the nautanky phone he quickly took the chance of putting his head on Purvi's hair before being banished to the floor again

Here what happened , after the insensitive , ill mannered and dramatic phone Purvi slept like a Chaudhavi Ka Chaand while he stared at her like Guru Dutt

And since she had held his hand he did not disentangle it and go back to his Ramu kaka position but slept sitting at the side of the bed🤣

My niswarth Mishti , he was thinking . My unselfish angel who doesn't allow hubby to touch her 'that' way . The sanskaari pativrata who makes pati sleep on floors !

There Prince Arjun was staring at her with an open mouth when she quietened the baby

Beautiful scene where Ovi sang lori to the baby but

The moral of PR is after the pati , baby , even the lori is Purvi's donation

Gyaani Jignesh was hovering around bhabhi again

Best was Sulochana sipping chai contentedly at the uncomfortable meeting

The Soham track is bakwaas churned out to accomodate the inavailability of the actress , it makes no sense .

@Kools- Fab post as always...love your para on Purvi and Onir lallu. what are they doing to this man? Why the hell does he still sleep on the floor? Who the hell does Purvi think she is? I am glad just FF her scene today and read the WU. I will never understand her and more importanly, never understand the men in PR. Just about given up on one strong male character. Right now, as pathetic as it may be, only Mittal is ruling the roost of normal smart men who know when their wives are being dedh shaana and looting their lives.

Pujli- Great scenarios! I so wish this happens, but we know the CV's all too well!

I feel we are being read. Today finally we got a Kirloskar family scene. It was really sweet. Now that Ovi is feeding the baby, I don't know how the CV's are going to show some weird attachment to Purvi still. The baby has taken Ovi to be her mother since it takes the first few days to be with a motherly figure and the baby realizes the mother touch and that's when attachment begins. Instead the dumb CV's are showing that Purvi's 10 second holding of baby caused the attachment. BS.

Arjun is slowly been given chance to make his marriage work but the guy really needs to step up expressions. I see the hint of a faint smile but he looks so haggered that I still thought that half part of his face was remembering Purvi and her lori. I wanted Arjun to have the scene that Ovi had in teh end, where he looks at his wife and thinks I have all that a man could ask for, a loving wife and beautiful daughter! Onir looks at Purvi sleeping and Ovi looks at Arjun, while those two probably meet up in their dreams and eye lock.

I agree with Varsha di, that Ovi has simple needs. What does a woman want at the end of the day in the bigger scheme of life? A family! I loved how she thinks the world of her husband and child. Purvi is going to soon come and snatch it right under her nose.

I am losing patience with Purvi. And to everyone who says how she is competing for attention with her own daughter is so right. It's beyond ridiculous what lenghts she is going. I am glad Onir is there to put a leash on her erupting mamta, otherwise this lady would have started feeding the baby forcefully also with Ovi around.

Dear Varsha, Kalapi, Kools, Pari, bips,and all the others on this thread,

The PR track is getting worse by the day, and with the Soham-Balan scene and the highly artificial shooting scene, it seems to have hit rock bottom. That is, for now, for just when you think this cannot get any worse, the CVs are experts at proving you wrong.

So, I have turned to Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Saraswatichandra, especially the 9:30 pm Doordarshan telecast which has NO ugly pop ups; those on Star Plus are the worst in the business. I like it a lot - the aesthetics and the cinematic feel are pure Bhansali, though he is not directing, only producing. As for the principal leads, while one has wait a bit more to see what the girl turns out to be like - she is no Aishwarya in her looks though she seems spirited,not coy or meek - the boy - for he is a boy, an introverted, detached and disillusioned boy rather than an angry young man, - is very striking. In the very carefully done introductory scene, he looks for all the world like a young rishi, Rishyasaringa for choice.

Do take a look at the omnibus edition that will come over the weekend; you might all like it, and it has a solid literary pedigree, which is something to be thankful for .

Shyamala I have disconnected all Intl channels..I watch PR online for KC...I am done with Indian drama which spills and ooozes out garbage after garbage..Its not good for one's body mind or soul...Still watching Ramayan as it is once a wk episode..

To add

They all start out wonderfully than the Creatives stretch it sooo much that they cant even get their arms around it to fix or finish it...They close the show in one episode without a proper closure..

The day KC is no more I leave...I am here to have fun reading humorous, honest and candid posts...Nothing more..

No, Varsha, I agree with what you have said in general, but I think Saraswatichandra will have a fixed story structure and only a set number of episodes. And not all serials even start out well; I have dropped out of 3 recently after just one week. I am quite hopeful of this one.

Are you not watching even DKD Mahadev these days, for that is what it looks like from your post. I am watching it regularly with my mother, who is a very acerbic critic of PR but who loves DKDM.

Shyamala I disc Intl channel though with Smart TV I could watch anything...I just chose not to watch tooo many links every day...Just PR.

Yes I had not watched DKDM for few wks and than had hard time catching up...If DKDM was once a wk episode for an hour I could deal with it but its not ...so I am preserving my eyes...

The money I save on Intl channel I rather pay to watch good english-american movies..some good entertainment and no blogging 😃

Lemme check Saraswati chandra and see if I want to invest time...Let u know..

i will watch the omnibus if u recommend it shyamala

watch DKDM but honestly speaking don't like the portrayal of Parvati lately

she is written as a kaliyug woman not as Shakti who is like sugar dissolved in milk with the Lord

she told the lord not set foot on kailash till he found her son , demanding bhavans , asking lord to become grihasthashrami from yogi etc , then making Nahush grow before time ...each time one unreasonable demand i dunno which shiv puran they r reading

The devi bhagwat says something else

since i do bhakti of Shakti i cannot bear to see this distortion of facts

the Adi Shakti should never be shown like this . The script writers r showing her wrongly .
