Purvi's character has turned out really disgusting. Not sure, how with such a character, she can be considered a lead. Isn't lead supposed to be the epitome of morality and virtue, this character has none. I am not sure how this character can be a role model, and even be symbol of 'true' love. How is this true love eyeing a jeeju, sitting for a pooja by the side of a sister??
I know many have said, her love for Aai is supreme, but, I don't agree with it anymore. How can she love her Aai so much and continue this natak with her jeeju. Will her action make anyone happy, especially her aai, even for the so called 'true' love? I doubt. My question is, can 'true' love be this destructive, that to get her "jeeju' she is going to leave a path of destruction. She made a decision, forced Arjun to marry Ovi, isn't the onus on her to live by her decision and forever forget that so called 'true' love. I find that Purvi's character isn't that of a lead, but a very grey one…she loves no one, she thought she wanted her aai's happiness, gave Arjun up on the spur of the moment and now wants Arjun back. And if she had sex with him, and force him to marry Ovi – well, what can I say, she is a very confused, conflicted women, who has no emotional or self-control. Where I come from, women without self or emotional control are considered "loose" or promiscuous. Who knows even if she gets her Jeeju Arjun somehow, she might change her mind the very next day – after 'achieving' him, she might just not like him…

Dearest Kalapi, Kools, Varsha, and all the others on this thread,
This is to send you my warmest good wishes for 2013 to be good for you in every way imaginable, and to bring you, and those you love, good health, peace of mind, and fulfillment.
After reading an assortment of comments on a couple of other threads, I was stirred to write the following post, which I hope all you enjoy. I hasten to add that it is purely satirical, but of course you would see that for yourselves!
Take care, my dear ladies, and God bless!

My dear arshi_arvi,
I would suggest that you hotfoot it to Balaji and try and make sure of that. I was impressed by the other thread with the poll on who should be the father of Purvi's baby, with its fine showing of a truly liberal spirit, and all the energetic discussion about pavitra and apavitra rishtas and babies. The same spirit can be seen here, but to get the ending you want, this will not suffice. Some more, and speedy action might be called for.
We can then have two Kirloskar Jrs. , one legit and the other a bit less legit, but Arjun can adopt the less legit one as well, as was done with Sachin, and then it should all be fine.
Oh, I forgot, you want ONLY Purvi to have Arjun's baby. So what shall the CVs do with Ovi's baby, which is undoubtedly also Arjun's (alas, the earlier hopes that it would be Romil's having been dashed to the ground) ? Would you like it to die in a miscarriage or to be stillborn?
I am not sure what is to be done with Onir, who cannot be asked to die in childbirth as many are undoubtedly hoping will happen to Ovi. Shall we have him run over by a Kolkata tram? They are said to be notoriously rash, those tram drivers, and it might not be too difficult to stage a neat little encounter.
Then Purvi will be free to marry Arjun with her sanskaars intact, God will be in His heaven, and all will be right in ArViland. I hope you get all of the above and are then fully satisfied.
As for me, all I am waiting for is for this asinine show to end.
