She should just leave the D clan and K clan for good...everyone says that Arjun has had the worse for the stupid deal wedding which i agree completely...but now i feel Purvi also is in a bad place, by giving up Arjun she has lost everything...

1) Arjun-Her love, she could have been so happy with him-both of them would have been.
2) Her job - She could be running the office Dk gave for Arjun with Arjun, now she jobless
3) Her family - She could have at least had the D clan as her family when she lost Arjun, but today it has come plain and simple, she is not welcomed in the D clan. She should never go to the D clan house again. Nobody stood up for her except Archana. Going there would only give her more humilation.
4) A great father - If she married Arjun, at least she would have gotten a great father in Dk. She would have received all the love she has been waiting for Manav to give her.
5) Manju - When she finds out Purvi has lost her job, she is going to torture Purvi with words. She won't be able to live in her own house.

Conclusion :- Purvi don't take Manav's Pune project job also...leave for good, go to kolkata and find a new job away from all these. You have done enough, now the time has come to live for yourself. Archana aai can live without you- it will be hard for both of you but she has 4 other children. Go Purvi, leave and start you own life. How much more can you take? because i had enough watching it.

Hey Abhi havent talked to you in a while!
Purvi lost alot with what she did. She seperated herself from the man who loved her more than himself, who would have always been by her side and always made sure she was happy. The man who could understand her every emotion..
I really want Purvi to move for a bit.. She needs some time to herself... she needs to reflect on her life. That is the only way her realization will fully occur.
Manju is going to make Purvi's life real bad when she finds out, and its going to sting Purvi more than it usually would, as she is already emotionally vulnerable.
Purvi should quit trying to solve all of the deshmukh problems and try to move on in her own life. Make a name for herself so she can live independently. But yes keep in touch with Archu, she loves you very much.
I have quit having any expactations form Cv's😃 I also was hoping for some Purvi-Manav scenes
Maybe first Purvi moves to Kolkata then Armaan unknowingly also go there...?

One should not let the love for one's child blind them from telling them right for wrong. Maybe Cv's do not want to show that as of yet, but in my pov it is long overdue.
Manav cares for Purvi but today I was disappointed in him bigtime, Im not expecting him to stand up for Purvi but I was expecting him to tell her off for acting in such a way with a guest.
All I can say is Im never going to have any expectations from Cv's because then they will always disappoint me😃

Yup I agree that Manav should have reproached Ovi which I mentioned. My whole point was just from today's epi one cannot judge Manav's love for Purvi is more or less.In fact Manav's not reacting is no way related to whether he loves Purvi more or Ovi more.
Its just that CV's either CV's decided not to show it for now/for later purpose or one can assume based on the histroy that Manav is afraid of Ovi's out-burst of harming herself which led him to keep quiet.
Since it was never shown ,we can only assume things.Hence my point is as its not shown ,I dont think Manav's not reacting has any correlation with him loving Purvi less or more which was my point.
The very next time they might show Manav doing once again something big for Purvi then everyone once again appreciate him.Tactics of daily soaps ,simple!!But my whole point was the above mentioned and hence I also agreed that Manav should have reproached Ovi .šŸ˜‰

Hi there!

I have to agree with what you said. I am no fan of any of the characters that writers give us in the beginning and then just make them so unreal, it is hard to bother liking them anymore. But as much as I have loved Manav from the beginning, he has been a tad bit disappointing since the leap, especially when it comes to the treatment of his mother, and then his daughter Ovi. He should have been the support she needed long back when she came to India and found out about Arjun and Purvi. I expected him to be the shoulder, that he was, but then move on to being a more authoratitve figure and a wise father who along with giving her emotional support, also gives her some lessons on growing up, on understanding the difference between love and obsession, who shows her right from wrong. I had high expectations from him post the wedding, where he let me down once again. Archana rightfully went home slapped Purvi and reprimanded her for what she had done. It was highly emotional and made sense for a mother to feel that way. Manav did nothing, besides waking up in the morning, being temporarily upset and just telling Ovi, that what she did was wrong because Arjun-Purvi love each other. Much more was needed from Manav at that point than just lamely telling her and accepting her apology. He should have been livid at her for being so self centred and obsessed that she bartered his marriage with Archana ( with no thought for either of her parents) simply to get hold of a man who does not love her. Manav simply resigned to this chosen fate by his child and did not so much as give her an insight into the consequences of this as well as punish her for the arrogance and desperation that she had acted on. One hug, it was all over.

Same way, after the wedding, he should have spoken to his damaad too about what has happened and how to go from here. Arjun, has grown up looking up to Manav, which means they share a close relationship, close enough for Manav to have slapped him for loving Purvi. He should have spoken to him as an older, father in law figure and discussed this debacle. Archana was relatively new to Ovi to open up, but she gave her the advice to work on her marriage with patience, but Manav did not rise to that occassion either. Today, when Ovi was inappropriately misbehaving, he simply left standing there like a putla without putting her in her place for once. Archana came forward to protect Purvi, which makes sense, and I do not expect Manav to sound off Ovi for Purvi;s sake. But yes, as a father, he should have been angry at Ovi for misbehaving with a guest and being so childish and immature in her approach. There is a tactful way to handle children and I think Manav has simply failed as a father in Ovi's case at the least.

I must say though that DK has proved to be quite amusing to me. He simply does not care about "trivial" issues like who his son ends up marrying. At one point, I used to love the relationship that he shared with Arjun, but clearly DK seems more engrossed in his own self or maybe praising Archana and Sulochana all day, that he has no interest in his son's life anymore. He should have really been the supposedly " cool" father, having an open-hearted discussion with his son about his marriage, what he needs to do, what he should do, how he is feeling, how he needs to work about this. He simply stayed put, observed the tamasha and decided to stand back and let things move on. Parents, have been quite the wrong examples for the kids in this show. Sad that DK was reduced to this. I used to like his cool headed character who was such a stark difference from Manav who is not so passive. But have simply become wall flowers in their children's lives it seems.

Hey welcome to the forum!!
Ha since leap Manav has been really disappointing for me, as he was supposed to be the male lead.
I know he wasnt going to yell about what she said to Purvi, but acting is such a way with a guest shuld not be tolerated. I bet farukh bhai walked out thinking oh god who has Arjun got himseld into, God protect him..
After the marriage Manav was so passive... If I was the parent I would have told her to get a divorce as soon as she could... or knock some sense into her saying how she was never was going to be happy..
DK I had expectations from him to do something since he knows that Arjun is madly in love with Purvi, but he didnt do anyhting...

I agree very well written post. PR has never been good parenting or normal couple leading happy lives. It was during the first 6 months of the show where there was normalcy in the show, then everything went to the toss.
PR is more about evil plots/scheming,senseless sacrifices, spineless men, dumb goats like Vandu,Damo and relationships put on price for the happiness of others senselessly.
CV's/Ekta pride on these factors to be shown to the viewers.

AS far as Manav goes ,the moment Sushant quit ,they decided to change the characterization of Manav.Manav had become more out-spoken.There was time before leap when Archu was the dominating partner and Manav would give in to pacify her but after the leap Manav has yelled the living day lights of Archu due to the senseless MU and now a days its more of fear in Archu over Manav's anger than anything else.CV's wanted to change the characterization as well with the actor getting changed.
Manav had become a universal character for many around who adored him.He was the best son, best husband anyone could have till leap happened.
I feel for the actors of the show who are giving their best with such senseless story tracks.

Hi .I'm here..just after watching it..didn't have enough time to read your posts..I will not write a lot ok.just few words..

AS I said..I'm fed up wtih ARJUN/OVI/PURVI ..really big headache to see them..😔

I'll just say..Arjun...😔 is just a coward..why he don't confront Ovi...for at least Farouk Bhai..
Farouk did a lot for him...Treat him like a son...and today he let his so call wife treat him like a dog..disrespect that poor guy..

Not fair Arjun..Its shame...😔 and the cherry on the cake..he hug Ovi...My foot..😔 as if he told her"" what you did is good..šŸ‘ŽšŸ¼ just get lost Arjun..Purvi ask you to keep her happy.(which I'm not agree with).but she never say "" hug her when she treat Mehmaan like dogs."".😔 she has no manners..and will never have I think..she is stubborn..what to say like Varsha ..yes we can put them in same basket...😔

and Ovi throw the Mithai box..in PR many time they show..food throwing away.Hate to see food throwing away like this...
I can't beleive what I see today..even Manv has his mouth shut..why??
Purvi better she go away...to much tamasha.
Hope she will take a good decision about her life now...😔
Really now what will happen to them I don"t care..everybody had been spoil..If I continue talking on them I'll hate them later..better stop here..

If I come now..Just for Tej..its a very beautiful scene ..for a first contact..Sunny look nice and handsome too..He looks funny ..really I think they'll both match...Tej..is a girl who take life as it come..and I hope that guy..will have a bit like Tej..in him..😊 So He is one son for his mother..and the other guy..is his cousin..his aunt's son..now ist clear..😊

Ok leave you now..its late here ...I'm tired..really waitng for more scene on Tej..and I really realy hope..Ekta don't spoil them too...

DK is a changed man too (except the actor did not change) after leap.He has not been doing much after leap except accept things as it comes and play the spectator role and just sit and watch the tamasha.

You are right Jai.. Sometimes I miss Sush so much just because when he Manav, Manav was such a sweetheart then. Ever girl wanted a man like Manav in their life who loved his wife so much. Now they make it seem as though Manav is a man who gets so angry very easily..

Thank you for the welcome! I am amazed this forum is so active and so many people, so many posts, I am just catching up right now :)

@bold - too funny! I agree, poor Faruukh bhai looked like he was running for his life and praying for Arjun's in his head too!

I agree with your point that Manav should have told Ovi to get out of the marriage simply because Manav, for one, should have known how it is nearly impossible to forget the one you love since he has been through that with Shravani. Also, being wiser, he should have foreseen the dormant volcano that this relationship was going to be with Purvi present around at all times. How could he not put himself in the shoes of himself, Archana and Shravani and see that this triangle was doomed and more so for Ovi who would gain nothing out of it? If he did not want the marriage to annull without giving it a try, he should have sat with both Arjun and Ovi and had a discussion on this along with DK. But they showed such a senseless bit that right after this wedding, Archana- Manav got together and got so wrapped in their milan they forgot the disastrous futures their children were treading on. I don't agree that a couple met after 18 years and hence needed some time to be with each other. When you give birth to a child, you become a parent first and then a wife/husband. Once they got back together, they had their whole life to catch up on with each other, but their children's moment of desperate need was then, which they ignored and then Soham came up.

I wish the elders realize moving on isn't going to be so simple for any of them with Purvi being around Arjun all the time, Either Arjun-Ovi move to Canada and someone talks to Arjun about working on this marriage from his own heart ( and not Purvi's promise), or someone sends Purvi away to another city to gain control of her life which is in shambles right now trying to please the Deshmukh family. I have a feeling, she is never going to be part of it. The adopted vs biological distinction is ever present in the episodes and her closeness to Archana vs the rest of the kids wil lalso always hamper her closeness to any of the other family members.

either this solution or I guess Ovi will have to die during child birth for Purvi to reclaim her love in the most respectable way. IF any other way, she is always going to be the "other woman" for everyone in society at the least,
