Sheena 🤗
Wonderful OS dear, I'm repeating myself from the AT, but you've captured the anguish of not only ArVi but also ArVians with this story. My favourite bits are below (quotes from your OS are in red) -
During the whole marriage his gaze had never shifted once from his angel who had put up a brave face and had witnessed the whole wedding. Each moment he had hoped for her to stop the wedding but that moment had never arrived.
I loved this - I think all of us wanted Purvi to stop somewhere in between, Arjun was almost daring her with those looks...
...
"You shouldn't interfere in our private matters Ms. Purvi Deshmukh." His cold stare had frightened her...He had been ruthless and cruel to her in the past but never indifferent..."Arjun"she had managed to mutter." Shouldn't you call me jeejaji!" he had asked looking straight into her eyes. The tears that she had tried to control so hard had finally brimmed over. He knew that the words uttered by him had hurt her but he knew that this hurt was needed.
Ooh the cool disdain, love it. How much AK would hurt to say this to Purvi but he'll say it nonetheless, just to drive his point home
...
"Love! Do you even know the meaning of it!" he had said, hatred emanating from each of his words.
"I have loved you since I knew what the word means! And you ask me if I know what love is!"
"Ohh...So your definition of love is ruining the happiness of the person you claim to love."
I would love for Arjun to give Ovi a piece of his mind - wish for such a scene in PR even now
...
"No! You are not! If you were my best friend you would have respected my feelings...you wouldn't have played with them. You would have been happy in my happiness. Best friends don't do what you have done Ovi. Best friends don't make a deal out of each other. And as far as this marriage is concerned, it's going to last only till I get done with the divorce procedures!"
Thank god he's thinking about the legal separation already. Even if the judge asks them to stay together for 6 months or something, I hope they live separately.
...
If you had ever loved me..." "Don't even dare to complete that Purvi," he had shouted, stopping her midway, "you have already done what you wanted to and now it's my turn!"
Payback time, beware Purvi!
...
She had not just hurt him but had also ended up destroying her own happiness and that was what pained him most.
Reminds of AK's vote appeal at ZRA, Jitna pyaar ye Arjun Kirloskar apni Purvi se kerta hai, utna shayad khud se bhi nahin kerta
Please continue this as and when you get a chance (hopefully soon)
Two thumbs up!!
