Purvi biggest loser

However after reading today's episode, I am of the firm opinion that Ekta k needs immediate mental help.(or maybe I need help).

1. Purvi is the biggest loser in all this. She is an orphan whom Archana brought up and who became exactly like Archana. She got engaged to Vinay who wanted to marry her for money, then Arjun fell in love with her...(she did not go behind him or obsess about him) only to find out that he was going out with someone else, then she fell in love, got kidnapped and gave up her fiance for a mentally unstable sister and for her mother's happiness. The sacrifice gave her mother happiness but she is left lonely...and her great brothers and sisters do not even say..please come and live with us.

Even her selfish mother, her great Baba and Sulochana aaji after everything turned out fine left her alone.

Who in the whole world has so much unhappiness and badluck following them all the time?

It is sad to see such an independant,go-getter and intelligent girl turned into a crying doormat and sacrificial lamb!!!

2. Arjun...Does he truly love Purvi or ever loved her? If he did he should have flatly refused to marry Ovi..they could have just stopped the marriage? what was the need to marry Ovi...

Also, as smart,handsome,etc he is, he never showed his intelligence in clearly explaining to Ovi his feelings about her...

3. Ovi, Teju: The less said the better...At the age of 20, girls are very ambitious...they are thinking about their careers, jobs, future...(I am talking about 21st century.)

But here Ovi is getting a degree in becoming junior Savita...and soon she will enter the hall of fame of the Negative people in this serial...Even the crying today was fake and her question to her Mom if she has forgiven her very smartly asked to get her beloved Arjun...Maybe a graduate degree in Evil planning will help her.

As per Teju...I am highly confused what she really does when she is not listening to people;s conversation...

So Purvi is highly educated and slogs in the office, Arjun first chats with Ovi on skype, then runs behind Purvi , Ovi connives and Teju eavesdrops.

So as i said earlier Purvi is the biggest loser...

And to think about it,,,these are the younger generation of the 21st century...(or which century is the serial based in?)...Because the younger generation that i have seen around me is bright,hopeful,smart and really think twice before doing anything...

There could be a easy way out of this...Purvi leaves Mumbai, finds a good job, meets a more handsome,rich,intelligent guy than Arjun and also who is more sensible than Arjun, marries him and leaves happily ever after. Her Aai has got happiness and who cares what happens to Ovi/Arjun now.

But this is in my world...but in Ekta's world things are very complicated and gallons of salty water is needed to solve any issue...oh and the volcano GODs need more sacrifice.

So i rest my case...i would rather read Pride or Prejudice or Wuthering heights and face the world and reality with common sense...and a smile on my face.

Even Jane Austen and Emily Bronte wrote really sensible stories in the 18th century!😉
