Love what you have written, Jyothi, for the very simple reason that it makes complete sense. But then who says the CVs will listen to reason anytime?
I have always held that Purvi will develop a soft corner for Soham and that would be the only reason Arjun could potentially get upset with her, she would be putting Soham above Arjun in a sense, preventing Soham from getting punished for putting two bullets through Arjun. (in Purvi's eyes, she would be forgiving Soham for what he did to her - justifying her actions in advance just in case).

Jyothi, I wouldn't put it past Purvi to go into a mammoth guilt trip and give up on Arjun for the sake of her aai's happiness BUT if Arjun is silly enough to give into her request to get with Ovi, despite any kasams Purvi might place on him,, I will lose all respect for the guy. Drama is okay, Purvi trying to give up on Arjun is okay, Arjun convincing Purvi finally that making him the scapegoat or sacrificial lamb in her mother's/Ovi's relationship is beyond ridiculous is okay, Ovi trying her level best to convince him otherwise is okay, Punni playing machiavelli is also tolerable provided Arjun remains staunch in his devotion to Purvi and refuses to budge from marrying anyone else other than Purvi come what may even if hell freezes over. Tall order, maybe but that is what I expect from the CVs and fervently hope they comply.

Jyothi. I too have faith in the CVs and their intelligence and trust them to not tread the path of ARMAN or that sickly previous soap of Ekta's kasam se. So amen to your hopes and prayers as they are mine as well.

This post is probably wishful thinking on my part that may not have chances of survival. Logic has never been their forte, but the story has to make sense with their characters. Let us see how far they stick to it or completely make a mess.
What bothers me is why should Arjun be put under test all the time? Does he love her enough to hang in there? He has proved again and again on this. It is high time Purvi does it too when it comes to the crunch time. She needs to stick to all the promises made to him otherwise what is the point? They just become mere words said when it was convenient. She has to think of Arjun's feelings too before going the mahaan route. This time, it is Purvi who is under test and not Arjun at all. I wouldnt blame him if he gets upset and walks away. You can only play with a person's emotions so much. He is not a toy to be disposed off or given to someone. That act of hers alone would be an ultimate insult to their love. She knows that Arjun doesnt love Ovi, so what purpose does this solve? How can she believe that this will give happiness to Archana? She loses all respect from me if she does that. Arjun is better off without her if she values him only this much.

Arjun cooperating on this is a moot point. That is not happening.

I personally dont think that atleast with Ovi's karnama, Punni will be successful. I dont think Purvi will fall for that. It is also too early in the game, isnt it !! Wedding is 10 days away. She might try something else again later. I think more tHan that some how varsha-vishnu combo will be the reason for diff of opinion between arjun and purvi. That will have more depth in story than this. Even then, the natural thing would be being upset with each other than a separation. The article where jia says this, who knows how authentic, right? It is a daily soap, can be changed any time. Look at the sameer purvi angle, and where it is right now.
