Exactly,it will be great to watch entire family re-united and in full swing searching for Manav. Even if the family gets united as the reason of Manav's kidnap and MU gets cleared after Manav kidnap its still ok as long they end the challenge fiasco and left over half baked non-sense tracks.Let Arman MU be the final one to be cleared, let all MU's get cleared and eventually Arman n Soham confrontation happen to clear out things.Let family unite and get Manav n Mission "Get back Soham" happen. This will be a better approach rather than the mess the CV's create. All we can do is hope I guess.

K's + D's = KD's together Vs Varsha n her goons

Prize : Soham... (This would be interesting to see)..

PS : Folks the post quoted is mine and not Thanee 😆...hahaha u guys are so tensed and involved in the storylines my dear that Pranti quoted the wrong post 😆...CV's should learn dedication from all u dears...Even if they put in 1% of the dedication all u dears spend in watching and analyzing the show,PR would go in different zone for sure..😉

👏 Jai, with a professional team of writers, the CVs are still not able to dissect, analyze and come up with a plausible story line, which we here seem to be able to do effortlessly.

Shyamala,
Just saw the episode on TV, and I tell you, it can drive you nuts !!
I had missed seeing your post this morning, and was wondering why you hadnt written any..I think I was too busy venting everywhere, in my usual way 😊..
so, now our Arjun has to compete with this guy of the boodhi haddi, who wants to avenge for his daughter, but still hides behind his aai's pallu. Is this dahi handi the place where he is going to avenge for his daughter.? Very matured of him, I tell you. Expected behavior from a 50 yr old man with kids..Right..What was all that 18 yr ka vaastha dialogues..is this mahabharat that he is talking about guru-shishya combo? like someone said, dronacharya and arjun at war, looks like !!
Initially in his conversation with Manav, Arjun was all subservient, which was annoying me as it is, but by the end, he seemed to take the challenge..atleast I hope so..With this boy, we dont know..he might just give up in the end to Manav, so his "idol/hero" can feel good that his boodhi haddi mein abhi bhi taakath hain aur apna parivar ka raksha kar saktha hain..he mgiht change his mind looking at the stakes in hand. let us hope so.
What's with Sulochana anyway. barking up the wrong tree.. this woman needs to be brought back on track often. keeps diverting away :)...she thinks she is helping purvi, but is giving ideas to the QM. didnt understand why she broke Arjun's news to Archana...
YOu know, I always knew that medical help is much cheaper in India than here..but never knew, it was this cheap !! You can get a operation done in 10K?? My goodness, I am spending my oldage in India for sure..Really, how ridiculous they make it all sound..( Mind you, I am not making fun of anything in India, just how it was shown today)

this is what I think is going to happen tomorrow:
1. Arjun will pay for churan's operation, that is a nobrainer, I think.
2. He will not show up by 12, as promised to Purvi, as he will be busy at the hospital. And theQM, no guesses for her reaction...we all know how it is going to go. BTW, she did have dark pink nails..Just checked it for you :)
3. But, I do hope that Arjun calls Purvi and lets her know what happened to churan and the money or even if Purvi calls him. That is vital. Purvi better call him if he doenst show up and not just stand crying at her Aai's reactions. Being all lovey-dovey and having randevous is all OK, but needs to stand up for Arjun when needed...
4. IF Arjun shows up also, all apologizing, we still know how it is going to go at the K-house..no brainer, again...he probably may not get a chance to talk about churan episode.

Well, if Archana does accept Arjun tomorrow, that would be the kicker..let us see.

As far as the end result, all of your three points seem valid.

Let us wait for more crap from the CV's tomorrow. It is going to be much worse, doesnt the promotion start tomorrow?

Dear Jyoti and Ash,

I thought that was the funniest line in PR today, and I was beginning to
think that Sulochana was a fount of wisdom! Is Arjun Archana's personal
property that she is being asked by Sulochana to dispose of him as she
pleases? Oh my God, what next?

The second funniest line was Manav's about his boodhi haddi (old
bones). I am still laughing so much as I type this that I cannot see the
lines properly! It was really side-splitting, accompanied by all that
melodramatic nonsense about him taking revenge for Arjun having
'betrayed' his daughter by defeating him at the dahi handi.

Arjun's shifting expressions during that exchange with Manav were
really very subtle and superbly done, but in his heart of hearts he
must have been thinking 'WHAT is the old man babbling about?' or
something to that effect!

I was not surprised to see Archana give a classic imitation of having a
dyspeptic attack when Sulochana informs her about Arjun having met her
challenge. She is as bad a loser as one can imagine. But I thought that
Arjun was going to be left to deal with Archana on his own, as Sulochana
said when she stopped Purvi from breaking the 'good' news to her aai at
once. Then why did she do it herself in advance of Arjun's arrival? To
confirm our reading of Archana's likely reaction? And then the priceless
bit about 'Purvi or Ovi"!!

Well, I do not think Manav is going to be allowed to exercise his 'boodhi haddi"
after all, for if he gets up on that pyramid, whether he wins or loses,
Vishnu will not be able to chloroform him, as he can hardly clamber up
after him to do so!. So they will have to spring Manav at the beginning
itself, one presumes.

Then where will that leave Arjun? Unless his chawl team takes Manav's
no show as his having given up without trying, and Arjun wins on his own
and collects the (Rs.10000/- ?) prize. But the QM's midnight deadline
would be long gone in any case, unless Janmashtami means till after the dahi handi is over.

The 'accident' with that vehicle is so unconvincing that it would win a
Razzie for the worst scene hands down against any competition (of which
there would be plenty available at any given time). Here is one of the
most street smart kids one has seen in ages. It is only slightly wet on
the street, and he does not slip in it. He has one chappal on, and the
other has come off. All he had to do was to move to the side of the
road, wait for the vehicle to pass, and then retrieve the second
chappal. Even if the wheel had passed over it, it is made of rubber
and would not break.

So what does Churan do? He stands in the centre of the road, oblivious
to the shrill horn of the oncoming vehicle, trying to slip on the second
chappal till he is almost knocked down, the driver not realising that
the kid would be dumb enough not to get out of the way. All because

(a) Arjun has to play the hero and save Churan from death or grievous injury at the very last instant and

(b) he must still be hurt seriously enough for him to absolutely need an
'operation' which will just about empty Arjun's pockets.

Incidentally, they forgot to mention the payment for the overtime put
in by Arjun; there was only the basic salary of Rs.8000/-. How come?

This apart, the amount charged for an operation in TV soapland is
always finely adjusted to use up all the disposable funds the lead
character has at that moment. It is always an operation , never any
simpler treatment, of course, no matter what the ailment. I have never come across any exception to this golden rule governing all soaps, it is probably one of their Ten Commandments: Thou shall not have a doctor proffer any treatment except an operation.

This being taken as a given, this time, the amount for the 'operation'
is so ridiculously low because of the low level at which Archana pegs
her challenge. Any self-respecting surgeon would protest loudly at being
demeaned by being asked to charge such a piddling amount!

The end result of this latest dose of high melodrama would be to:

1) heighten Arjun's appeal by showing him as a totally unselfish and
very kind-hearted person, ready to risk his life's happiness for the
sake of that kid.

2) make it vital for him to win the dahi handi prize amount,
regardless of his having to defeat his 'idol' (provided the Janmashtami
deadline extends till that function is over).

3) place Purvi in a situation where she will have to rebel
against Archana (who will rejoice at Arjun's no show), when she finds
out why he does not turn up. It will be interesting to see if she
actually does so.

Dear Pranati (if I may)

That was really VERY clever of you; I had completely forgotten about that chap; it has been such a long time, and yet you remember it so clearly. So this chap is a jack of all trades, airline employee, garage owner, jailbird - and if you go a little further back, I am sure he would beat even Alec Guinness in Kind Hearts and Coronets, where he played 9 different characters with great aplomb.

How clever of you! You should be given an award for 'successful facial recognition despite distracting add ons', in this case the airline uniform.

Maybe it was, in the time honoured tradition, a twin brother of Farooq's, do you think?

You know, Jyoti,, I think that in the future, I will always post my views, even if they are brief by my standards (!), under a separate thread. Posting in a long chain simply ensures that it all gets lost, and those like you who might actually want to read it miss it in all the pages of lively arguments under every daily update. So never again.

I agree, Arjun was too polite and sanskaari in the beginning, but the changes in his expression were fascinating as Manav's Bhishma Pitamaha style bhashan progressed, and by the end, his jawline was firm, and he pocketed the Rs.200/- with only a slight hesitation.

As for Manav, I was too busy laughing at the boodhi haddiayn - my eyes were literally streaming with tears, I tell you! - to notice much else, except that the harangue was the acme of sheer ridiculousness. So very, very funny!!

Let us see what happens now. I hope Vishnu collars Manav right at the beginning, they declare Manav a no show, and Arjun triumphs in his absence. The beauty of this scenario is that it will please those who have reservations about Arjun beating the 'hero' of PR.

Then Arjun will be back in business and can plonk the Rs.10000/- under the QM;s nose. The only catch is that she will now be too busy looking for extra supplies of Vicks for all the crying to be done in Manav's absence.Oh well, one cannot have everything, can one?

As for operations in India, of course medical care, even in the very best hospitals, costs only a fraction of what it would in the West, especially in the US, where Medicare is going bust , with even the simplest prescription drug costing a bomb and being the subject of triplicate paperwork. A heart bypass in India would probably cost Rs. 3 lakhs or more.Dental care is very economical compared to the West, as is knee replacement and so on. Whence so much of medical tourism to India, which I used to promote when I was High Commissioner to Canada.

But the funny thing here is the the cost of the 'operation' exactly fits the funds available, with the sole objective of ensuring that the lead character is effectlvely made bankrupt. That is the whole point.

Arjun will come without money to explain..but Archu will not let him talk..as usual..

Thanee, i agree with this. Since i don't understand Hindi of course i couldn't get it from the conversation but i don't think Sulo meant that Archana should choose for Arjun the one to marry. First of all Sulo is totally in support of Arjun marrying Purvi...she even thanked Krishna for uniting them at the beginning of this scene.

What i think, like you if i understand what you wrote, is that Archana has to decide that Arjun is in fact good enough to marry one of her daughters (Purvi)

When he seemed to be courting both at the same time and Archu was saying he wasn't good enough for either Ovi or Purvi, that now she has to accept that she was wrong, that he IS a good man, good enough to marry one of them... and that one is Purvi, because it is whom he loves...and they love each other.

It was just very bad writing on the part of the writers/cv's ..so it looked like she was saying something else.

thanks for the update
Manav indirectly helped Arjun to earn his requrired amount to get his love. 200Rs tips for just filling oil. Manav is very big businees man than DK who gave only 50Rs.
Savita is very brave lady. thinking Archu will never tell the truth to Tej and Ovi, Savita is confidently bringing more hate for Arch from her daughters. Damodar entered in right time. hope he does something. As of now no one is in favour of Archu Manav reunion. every single charcter bring more distance between Archu and her daughters.
Sulo and Purvi are happy about Arjun's success but Archu seems to be caught between her ego now. She likes Arjun's success but fears what Ovi and co will think about her now. Archu you will never happiness if you keep sacrifying for that dumb family
Precap gives more fear. Surely Arjun will spend that money to save that little boy. Archu will blame him more for ditching Purvi.
Later archu may be come to know about truth but for now Archu blames continues.
