I totally agree with what u said, yes that is what v want from purvi,to fight for arjun. But i think there is something behind her actions today. First archana prohibits her from meeting arjun n now she says go ahead.. Its really annoying. I think purvi knows very well that he is in this pitiful state coz of her ayee.. I think it was an expression of anger, anger at what her mother's demands have landed her love into. I think she has secretly sworn to herself that she will get arjun out of jail n only then meet him!
well this is just sheer optimism from my side, no idea how d CV's will take story ahead...

Dear Jyoti (and ss1234 and the rest of the folks who think on the same lines wrt Purvi today),

Now don't get so worked up, there is a good girl. Just listen to my take on this and see if you can have a rethink on Purvi.

I am not , as you know, a Purvi-groupie, in fact quite the opposite, and I have always been accusing her of not fully reciprocating Arjun's passion for her, and in fact of not being even capable of it. So, when I say this today about Purvi, it should carry some extra weight.

I think she refused Archana's offer of a meeting with Arjun not out of an obsessive respect for her mother's diktat , but for a different reason. I think she does not want to be treated like a foolish child any more: slapped one day, screamed at and dragged to the door another day, and then, when Archana feels guilty about the mess Arjun has landed in because he helped Sulochana and saved her life, to be offered a meeting with him like a lollipop.

Her refusal is, I think, a first step towards independence from Archana and not a slavish display of obedience. She does not want to be treated like a puppet or a piece of property any more, to be abused one day and indulged the next.

I liked that little gesture of defiance, or so I read it. Do you think, on reconsidering the matter, that you might agree with me?

In any case, over the coming weeks, it will become clear if my reading(and that of Arvi-licious, but we reached it independently of each other, and so can claim parallel credit if we turn out to be right. If we are wrong, we shall of course bury this theory decently!) is the correct one or not. Let us see. For our poor boy's sake, I hope very much that I am right!

It was really disappointing to see Purvi's reaction today😒... she was not very keen on meeting Arjun despite Archana telling her to meet him... she was more concerned about Sulochana in the hospital... I found her behavior a little strange!

And Esha, "Enough is enough" is what I tell myself everyday😃!!!
After watching each episode I resolve to stop this addiction with Arvi, but as soon as the episodes are posted online I find myself constantly refreshing the pages and end up watching them as soon as they are posted... not even waiting for it to be telecast on zeetv here ! And the rest of my day is spent on the forum looking forward to what Archana, Shyamala,Laurie, Jyothi, Nina, Abhi,Vilasini and others have to say... Seriously, now, I seem to be enjoying reading these analysis more than the serial itself..

Dear Arvi_licious,

I think you are spot on with your analysis, and I have mentioned this in my post above to Jyoti. I had thought exactly the same thing when I saw the way she looked at Archana when she made that offer. Now let us keep our fingers crossed for us to be right on this!

thank you Shyamalaji.. Happy that our thoughts in regard to purvi's reaction were d same, also it was noteworthy that not only purvi but even DK refused to give in to archana's requests, eventhough that was exactly what they wanted with all their heart! the only thing im trying to understand is y they brought in this twist? Was to make archana realize her folly, make purvi stronger? or just another aam aadmi thing for arjun to go through??!

that is what i was thinking too..there must be a reason that she did that... maybe she didnt see the need to talk to him..no need for words..they understand each other's pain... has a different purpose in mind..i know i am being optimistic..

I think it is both your first and your second choices, not the third.

As for DK, he knows perfectly well that it is Archana's folly that has brought his son to this pass, and he wants to rub it in.The way he does it is masterly, isn't it ? Not a single word spoken in anger, but the message gets across like a hot knife thru butter!

Shyamala,
I started this thread before the episode started...the result of my last night's stress...need to stop thinking so much, i think..it is after all a soap...
I read the WU, didnt watch it yet..was upset..but, later after thinking a little, I actually just replied to Arviliscious's post without reading yours :).. I think you are probably right..more than an act of defiance, it is probably the thought that there is no need for words...she can see the state Arjun is in. it is probably a sign of independence too...
Let us see if that is what it is..i am keeping my fingers crossed..I really hope so for Arjun..
But, I still dont know if I can watch today's episode if there is harrasment shown. 😭...
let me see how long I last...
