Do watch it; you can never get the nuances without seeing the actual footage, and then tell me if you agree with me.

Don't worry about any police excesses against Arjun; he got off very lightly seeing that they suspect him of being a gang member. A couple of slaps, that is all, and they seemed much less forceful than Manav's, and there were 3 slaps then!

In fact I thought that today's PR was a good ad for the Mumbai police. They not only listen to Arjun, who, as usual, is not very coherent, but then actually take the trouble to get Sulochana's statement, and as she is there in the hospital at that time, Archana's as well.

They do not let him go just the basis of Archana's character certificate, or DK's confirmation of Arjun's identity, but in their place, I would do the same. Being a very rich man's son does not automatically mean that the boy cannot be a gangster as well. They are on the track of that gang, and they need to be VERY sure about Arjun before they release him.

I loved DK today.He put Archana in her place so smoothly and effortlessly, without a single word spoken in anger. Now that is class. Not like the fishmarket style screaming of the Ds and the Ks alike.

I read the WU, didnt watch it yet..was upset..but, later after thinking a little, I actually just replied to Arviliscious's post without reading yours :).. I think you are probably right..more than an act of defiance, it is probably the thought that there is no need for words...she can see the state Arjun is in. it is probably a sign of independence too...

Let us see if that is what it is..i am keeping my fingers crossed..I really hope so for Arjun..

But, I still dont know if I can watch today's episode if there is harrasment shown. 😭...

I think it takes guts to refuse what you so deeply want. From the time Purvi came to know that it was Arjun who infact brought Sulo to the hospital, she is in deep gratitude of him. Now he has landed in this mess and she has not been able to speak a word to him of her own pain, fear or say 2 words of support to him. How much she might have wanted to do that, isn't it? Agree, who wouldn't want a spitfire Purvi who is totally in control of her life, but I think, this is not a question about her fellow colleagues' employment continuation or a question of about 10 laptops that she would become aJhansi-ki-Rani, but this is a question of love and her life where she cannot get what she wants with a rebellious attitude.

What I always wanted from Purvi, is a demonstration of her love for Arjun, which would instill confidence in us so that she will stand up for Arjun when needed. Iam not saying that she doesnt feel it as deeply as Arjun. Due to his characteristics and personality, Arjun displays it more convincingly, whereas she does it sparingly.This has always irked me and several others. I dont need her to be a spitfire or yelling at anyone, which i dont prefer, but give us something, in any form.
Since the hospital scene, she has started displaying it slowly. It might be just looking sadly at a lonely Arjun walking away, but she still did it before Archana. That itself is a first for her. But, i was worried that it was just something random or if I was reading too much into it. But, today with her silent portrayal of love and inner strength she is giving me some hope that Arjun did pick the right one. I really liked the way they just looked at each other silently, although for just a few seconds. I just hope she keeps it up. As i said in the other post, it makes me think that, maybe, if she keeps this up, she will convince Archana of her love with strength and confidence. You are right, she showed great self control and strength in refusing to talk to him. But as I said, sometimes you dont need to say the words to each other. A look says it all.

Bu we can't forget, that Arjun just recently stepped up to prove his love. We can't forget the long time that Purvi was being tortured her by running around with Ovi. He may be out to prove love but i think he should suffer a little.

But on the other hand, she knew his situation and you tortured him the whole time he was with Ovi because all he wanted was for her to listen and understand and trust him. And when things got too tight he cracked and took all the daggers and was ready to fight anyone for her. Now here he is trying prove his love to her mother so he can have his dreamgirl.

In the meantime he nevers fails to show his love and tries to understand her situation, but he would like to some sign fromher that she loves him back. (When she said that she wouldn't eat if he didn't eat) She didn't even say thank you for him saving her grandma. And now when he's at his worse she won't even go reassure him that everything will be ok. All this for her mother.

I'm sorry but is Purvi blind? Does she not see how her mother has ruined her life with this sacrifice for others happiness, don't see the pain in your loves eyes, sit and cry throught the pain you are causing yourself. Does she want to be like her mother? cause she's doing a great job doing it.

I adjust my statement. Yes she should step up and show her love for the man she loves. But after watching, she did show that she loves him and cares when she got the news and when she saw him in the jail. She is trying to please her mother. Notice how her mother told her to stay there just to keep her away from Arjun. Sulchana had to tell her to go. And the whole time you could see in Purvi's eyes that she wanted to run over and console her Arjun. But the instant she see's her mother she internalizes all her feelings.

And when Archana said she can go talk to him if she wanted to and she brushed it off, its the same game as DK played on Archana. She wanted Arjun to be without a name and without Purvi and she wanted Arjun to suffer some. So why because he's sufffering now, you say its ok for Purvi to talk to him and DK needs to put his name back on his son. Make her feel guilty. I love it.
