Chpt 5

It was nightime and Purvi was waiting for a rickshaw. Arjun was driving home when he saw Purvi.

Arjun: Purvi what are you doing here?

Purvi: Im waiting for a rickshaw so i can go home

Arjun: Well all the drivers must have gone home so i will drop you home

Purvi: No sir I dont want to trouble you

Arjun: Come in besides we have an important meeting tomorrow and i dont want to lose this deal

Purvi: Yes sir

Purvi goes in the front seat with Arjun and Arjun drives. In the middle of the road the car suddenly stops

Purvi: what happened sir?

Arjun: I dont know ill check

Arjun goes out of the car and checks the engine and stuff

Purvi gets out of the car

Purvi: Is everything ok?

Arjun: No we will have to call a mechanic

In the hotel

Ovi and Tej check in and say good bye to Manav

Ovi: I love this hotel

Tej: Its ok

Ovi: Ok???
Tej: Ya it is but i dont want to stay here i want to stay in a chrawl

Ovi: A CHRAWL????????

Tej: why whats wrong with living in a chrawl?

Ovi: LOts of things bugs and no ac and lots of things

Tej: I want to experience real India. Aaji told me everything about India so now that i am here why not try it out?

Ovi: Well i dont want to ruin my health

tej: How does living in a chrawl ruin your health?

ovi: It doesnt, I hope, but eating street food does

Tej: You are impossible Ovi

Ovi: Well you can live in a chrawl but remember to tell baba

Tej calls a chrawl person and Ovi checks out a magazine

IN the street

Arjun called a mechanic and he is checking the car Purvi calls her Aaji

Purvi: Hello Aaji?

Sulocha: Purvi kaha ha thum?

Purvi: Aaji Arjun sir was dropping me home and the car broke down.

Sulocha: ok take care bye

Purvi hangs up the phone and Arjun comes up

Arjun: Bad news Purvi the mechanic will take the car to the garage so we will have to wait

Purvi: Ok sir but wat about the metting tomorrow

Arjun: we will have to postpone it

Purvi was worried

Purvi and Arjun were walking on the street when Purvi tripped and Arjun caught her. Purvi and Arjun found out they were holding hands so they let go

Arjun: Are you ok?

Purvi nodded

Purvi was shivering so Arjun gave her his coat

Purvi saw a Dhaba and she ran their. There was a dance performance and Arjun and purvi were smiling.

Chpt 6

In the Dhaba a girl asked Purvi to dance. Purvi came out in a beautiful dress. Arjun's eyes were on her. When she stopped dancing she went in the room to change. But before a dancer asked Purvi and Arjun to take a picture together. At first they hesitated then Purvi said ok. They took the picture and smiled

In the Deshmuk chrawl

Archana was getting ready for bed when Manav came in.

Manav: Archana I have to tell you something

Archana: Yes Manav what is it?

Manav: Ovi and Tej have reached India

Archana was very happy in that news

Archana: Really???? Im so happy

Manav: Yes and they are and they are staying in a hotel

Archana: When can i meet them?

Manav: Um well they wont come here so we will have to see

Archana: Ok

Manav left the room and Archana was very happy

In t he hotel

Ovi was unpacking when Tej came in the room

Tej: Ovi Ovi Ovi!!!!

Ovi: What?

Tej: Im moving in a chrawl tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ovi: what??? Well im not coming

Tej: I dont care and im about to tell baba

Ovi: what if he says no?

Tej: Ovi you know me manalogi

Ovi: I dont know...

Tej: Anyways what are you gonna do tomorrow

Ovi: Im going to meet the real reason why I came to india was because i wanted to see Arjun

Tej: You and your Arjun poor guy

Ovi: What do you mean by that????

Tej: nothing anyways will you come with me to see my chrawl??

Ovi: No because i dont want to stay in a minute in a chrawl with mosquites

Tej: Im so happy ok good night

Tej and Ovi went to sleep

At the Dhaba

Arjun: You were pretty good at the dancing

Purvi: thnx

Arjun and Purvi were having Dinner when two boys were messing with Purvi

Purvi got up to throw away the garbage when two boys were going close to her. Arjun saw this and punched one of the guys. Purvi was shocked and went behind Arjun. One of the guys tried to punch Arjun but he missed and Arjun Punched him a couple of waiters from the dhaba go the two guys. Purvi was scared and hugged Arjun.

Arjun: Are you ok Purvi?

Purvi: Yes thank you

The mechanic came and told Arjun that the car was fixed

Arjun: Well then lets go

Purvi followed Arjun

Arjun and Purvi went in the car and Arjun started driving Arjun was looking at Purvi and Purvi was remembering when Arjun hit those men.

Arjun stopped in front of Purvi's house and asked if she was ok Purvi nodded

Purvi went inside and Arjun left. Inside Purvi got a call

Purvi: who would call me this late?

She found out it was her best friend from America Priyanka

Priyanka: Hey Purvi

Purvi: Hi

Priyanka: What happened you sound upset

Purvi: nothing

Pryianka: Tell me Purvi im your best friend

Purvi tells her what happened at the dhaba

Pryianka: So Arjun saved you the one who hated you in college and annoys you at work

Purvi: Yep that Arjun

Pryianka: You two make an excellent jodi

Purvi just ignored her

Purvi: I have to go bye

Pryianka: OK bye

Purvi thought about when Arjun saved her from the two men and when Arjun gave her his coat when she was cold she smiled.

At Arjun's house

Arjun was thinking about what happened at the dhaba when he got a phone call from Canada. It was his best friend Aditya

Arjun: Hello

Aditya: Hey Arjun

Arjun: Oh hey Aditya

Aditya: What happened why is your voice so low?

Arjun: I was thinking of something

Aditya: Well i thought you were sleeping but i wanted to call you why are you up so late?

Arjun tell him what happened

Aditya: You saved a girl?

Arjun: Shes an employee

Aditya: Well i have to go bye

Arjun: bye

In the morning at the Karanjgar house

It was morning and Purvi was eating breakfast.

Sulocha: Purvi are you sure you want to go to the office you seem tired

Purvi: Yes Aaji i have to

Sulocha: Ok

Purvi left for the office and was thinking about last night

Purvi(to her self): Why am i thinking about it

In the office

Purvi was working when Arjun came in she said good morning and Arjun called her to his cabin

Arjun: Ms.Purvi we will postpone the meeting

Purvi: No sir we dont have to i worked on the file and the presentation last night everything is fine

Arjun: you worked last night? Werent you tired?

Purvi: Sir this deal is more important than me

Arjun: Ok we will continue with this meeting

Purvi left and Arjun was thinking about last night

Manav came into Arjun's cabin

Arjun: Manav uncle hi

Manav: Hello Arjun. Are you busy?

Arjun: not right now

Manav: Arjun Ovi came to India

Arjun: oh ok

Manav: So she would like to meet you

Arjun: well not today i have to go to an important meeting

Manav: Ok

Arjun: Manav uncle dad told me about your drivorce and also you have another daughter Purvi.

Manav: I will meet her today at my chrawl

Manav left and Arjun was worried

Archana was walking when she saw someone steal tej's wallet

Archana ran and got the wallet and the theif ran away

Tej: Where is your chrawl?

Archana: Over there

Tej: mine is oppistite of yours

Archana: well maybe sometimes you can visit

Archana: Well i have to go bye

Tej left and so did Archana

At the airport

Pryianka was going to give a surprise to Purvi and Aditya was going to give a surprise to Arjun.

Pryianka was waiting for a taxi when Aditya took it

Pryianka was angry

Pryianka: Exuse me but thats my taxi

Aditya: well i took it so its mine

Pryianka: Get your own taxi

Aditya: Why dont you go find another one

Pryianka: Well i dont have time to argue with some baseless men

Aditya was angry and got out of the taxi

Aditya: What did you call me

Pryianka: baseless

Aditya: you-

Taxi driver: Who is getting in

Pryianka and Aditya: I am

Pryianka and Aditya looked at eachother

Aditya: I will get a new taxi

Pryianka: fine

Aditya and Pryianka both left

In the meeting room

It was time for the big presentation and Purvi was getting everything set up when the clients came

Arjun: Good evening sir

Client: Good evening

Arjun: Sir should we start the presention

Client: Ok

Everyone sat down and Purvi started everyone was amazed and at the end everyone clapped for her

Client: that presentation was great and i think we have a deal mr.Kirlosker

Arjun: Great and this is Purvi

Purvi came up to Arjun ans the clients

Client: Hello Ms. Purvi

Purvi: Hello

Client: we loved the presentation

Purvi smiled and everyone started talking about the deal

In the Deshmuk house

Archana was cleaning the table when someone knocked on the door. Archana opened the door and it was Pryianka

Archana: Pryianka!😃

Pryianka: Hi mausi

Archana: Hello come in and sit do you want some chai

Pryianka:No thank you mausi actually i wanted to surprise Purvi and i thought to see you

Archana: Well i missed you and did your Aai come with you?

Pryianka: No actually she was busy she will come someday though

Archu: Well i hope she comes

Pryianka: Aunty aai told me about your divorse and i feel bad for you. I called Purvi and she told me everything about the fake signitures i cant believe your son and a lawyer would do this and your saas

Archu: Im doing this for my kids

Pryianka: Mausi i dont agree with this desion and im also a lawyer so I know that this signiture fraud is not good

Archu: Talking about lawyers hows your job??

Pryianka: its great i just won a case and im going to be a lawyer in mumbai

Archu: Have you started focusing on your shaadi

Suddenly Manav came in

Pryianka hugged Archu and Manav blessed her. Pryianka left and Archana went to the kitchen

In the hotel

Ovi was on the phone with Tej

Ovi: Tej i can belive that you eat street food but living in a chrawl wait i actually can belive it

Tej: Barbie doll you are such a barbie doll

Ovi: Well im fine here in the hotel anyways forget that did you know i called Arjun a million times but he isnt picking up

Tej: Ovi you know what i told you Arjun isnt interested in you

Ovi: You are just jealous

Tej: Why would i be jealous anyways you havent even got engaged with him and you arent getting engaged.

Ovi: you are right i will ask baba about this

Tej: Ok fine its your life but remember this is Arjun's life to and he already told you when we were in Canada you and him are JUST friends nothing more than that

Ovi: fine ill hang up now bye

Tej: bye

In the Karagar house

Purvi was drinking tea and Sulocha was cooking and suddenly there was a knock at the door Purvi opened the door and it was Pryianka

Purvi: Pryianka!

Pryianka: Purvi!

The two girls hugged and Pryianka went inside

SUlocha: Pryianka kaise ha?

Pryianka: Im fine

Purvi: when did you come a few hours ago i wanted to surprise you

Sulocha: I will get tea

SUlocha went to the kitchen to get chai for Pryianka

Pryianka: ANyways how are you

Purvi: Im great now that you are here

Pryianka: Well im great to if you ask im going to be a lawyer in mumbai

Purvi: Awesome hows Simran Mausi and uncle?

Pryianka: They are great i just went to meet Archana Mausi

Purvi:Oh ok did you meet baba?

Pryianka: Yep uncle is great too bad they are getting a divorce but dont worry we both will stop this divorse after all thats one of the reasons i came to india

Purvi: Well im happy you are here since you are a lawyer you will help me

Pryianka: and an excellent lawyer

Purvi and Pryianka were both laughing and then sulocha came with the chai

Pryianka: Aaji is it ok if i stay here

Sulocha: why are you asking? This house is yours to

Pryianka: Thank you Aaji

Pryianka hugged Sulocha

Sulocha: since you are here we all will be happy again

Purvi: yes we miss aai

Pryianka: dont worry i will make sure alls well

Priyanka, Purvi, and Sulocha all laughed and drank chai😃

In the Karangar house In the morning everyone was busy. Purvi was getting ready for office, Pryianka was getting ready to go to court for her case, and Sulochana was cooking breakfast. Pryianka was looking for a folder when she saw a picture in a drawer it was Arjun and Purvi at the Dhaba. Purvi was combing her hair

Pryianka: Cough cough

Purvi: Are you ok?

Pryianka: But you arent ill check your forehead

Pryianka checks her forehead

Pryianka: I was right you are sick love sick

Purvi: What do you mean?

Pryianka shows her the picture

Purvi: 😳

Pryianka: Isnt this Arjun your annoying boss?

Purvi: Yep actually we were going to my house and i told you everything

Pryianka: So cute

Purvi: OK forget this lets go eat

Pryianka: My driver is coming any minute so ill drop you

Purvi: what about your case

Pryianka: It will start in three hours

Archana was cooking breakfast with Vandu

Vandu: Vehini Im going to the market later

Archana: Manav breakfast is ready so hurry up and change

Pryianka is in the car with Purvi

Pryianka gets out of the car and she sees Aditya

Aditya sees her

Aditya: Im here to see my firend Arjun if you work for him

Pryianka: Exuse me i dont work here and for your information my name is Pryianka and im a lawyer

Aditya: Well im Aditya and what are you doing here if you dont work here

Purvi: Hi im Purvi

Pryianka: Remember when I told you about at the airport

Arjun: Oh her she was at my college

Arjun: Not really I heard she was a famous lawyer

Aditya: Actually i have a case its something that will happen

At the Kirlosker house

Arjun was working on his labtop when the doorbell rang

Arjun opened the door and it was Ovi

Arjun: Ovi come on in

Ovi came in and sat down

Arjun asked one of his servants to get some juice

Ovi: Hi Arjun how are you

Arjun: Good

Ovi: I was thinking about marriage

Arjun: Ovi I know what you are thinking and the answer is no

Ovi: Arjun please we are childhood friends and we know eachother really well

Arjun: Ovi we are just friends nothing more than that

Ovi: Please

One of the servants got the juice Ovi picked up the glass and it spilled on her dress

Ovi: Ill be right back

Ovi cleaned her dress and when she came back she saw a picture frame of Arjun and Purvi. Ovi was mad and she took the picture and showed it to Arjun: Oh that picture was taken at the dhaba

Ovi: who is this girl?

Arjun: My employee

Ovi: Just an employee?

Before Arjun can answer the door bell rang Arjun opened the door and it was Purvi

Arjun: Oh hi Purvi

Purvi: Hello sir

Arjun: Come in

Ovi was suspicious

Ovi(to herself): Whats Purvi doing here?

Arjun: Did you bring the file?

Purvi: Yes sir I did

Arjun: Ovi sorry but i have to work

Ovi: Ok bye

Ovi left and she was peeking at the door

Arjun asked the servant for water the servant got water

Purvi and Arjun took the were about to grab the same glass and started looking at each other Ovi witnessed the whole thing

Ovi: How can this be Arjun has never looked at a girl this close no i cant give up now Arjun is mine only mine.

At the Deshmuk house

Archana just came back from her house. Manav was working on his labtop and Sachin was working on a piece of paper

Archana: Manav do you want some chai?

Manav: Ok

Archana: And you Sachu?

Sachin: No

Archana went in the kitchen to make some tea when she burned her arm

Archu: Ow!

Manav was alarmed and check to see what happened

Manav: Archana you should be more careful

Manav got the first aid kit

Archana: its ok Manav i can do it

Manav: No i will

Archana:Ow Manav it hurts

Manav: It will if you keep moving

Sachin was witnissing the whole thing and left room angry

Archana: Manav i can do it

Manav: If you do you will not put on the medicine now no more complaining and let me do it

Manav and Archana were looking at eachother and then the phone rang

Manav: Its ok I will make the tea

Archana: No Manav

Manav: Archana ill do it you can go rest

Archana left and Manav picked up the phone it was some worker he couldnt focus on the call.

Arjun: Aditya shut up Aditya: sorry anyways why are you guys still working its almost 12 Arjun: Then why are you still awake? Aditya: Well the light was still on downstairs so i decided to check it out when I found out you two were working

Arjun: Oh ok well sorry if we disturbed you now go back to sleep

Aditya: Why are you sending me upstairs? Im sorry if im bothering you two

Aditya giggled

Aditya: Ok ill just go and leave you guys alone

Arjun: Purvi can you hand me that file

Arjun and Purvi continued working suddenly Purvi's phone rang

Purvi: Sorry sir

Arjun: Its ok put the phone on silent if its important pick it up

Purvi: Its important ill be right back

Purvi: Hello?

Pryianka: Hey Purvi hows your work?

Purvi: Its good listen I have to hang up

Pryianka: Im sorry am I bothering you two ill hang up and leave you two alone

Purvi was walking to the couch and Arjun stood up to get something when Purvi accidently slipped and Arjun caught her.There was a moment of silence when they looked into the depths of eachothers eyes. The silence broke when someone was coming down the stairs. The two started working again and the night ended

At the Karangar house

Pryianka woke up she made breakfast. Pryianka was the first one awake.
