GM raised u as a Aai is different than being raised by your own Aai-mother...A huge difference especially in child's mind and reality..
For crying out loud Purvi was adopted w/o manav's consent...Archana can adopt any one and many kids if she wants but she can't claim them Deshmukhs...Manav is nice enough in accepting Purvi and caring...But he really did not have to..
Purvi is not part of Deshmukh issues which are going on right now...Yeah she can take part in karanjkar issues as she was raised by Archana in Karanjkar home..

@Dabulls- You are absolutely right. Purvi was given the name Deshmukh and all but she hasn't been accepted by the family and it was Manav's kindness that he thinks of her as his own. I had a problem with this divorce storyline since the leap began. What was the reason for Purvi to interfere in her parents' lives? They are adults and they should decide what they want to do with their own future. Purvi shouldn't be making any decisions for her parents at all. I didn't like that she went up to Manav and asked him to watch out for Archana. She cares about Archana but she should let Archana handle her problems and just be supportive rather than getting into the thick of things.

I totally agree with you...I understand she missed out on having a father so has so much soft corner for Manav...But she has no right interfering in ArMan's marriage or divorce...I dont even like the way she went behind and talk to the judge on 6 months living together and just few days back she called the judge again...There is conflict of interest with this judge as she is Archana's friend.
When we are called for jury duty if we have any bias or descrimination-dislike for the defendent or what community-race he belongs to than we are rejected as jury..This show is fulll of faltoo sadistic and idiotic storylines...EK and her CVs are juveniles or old farts who have no clue which end is up..
Thanks for reading..
In short Purvi need to keep her nose out..
BTW when the mother is dead and child is raised by Aaji as Aai is also different than when mother is alive but abandoned a child..😳

I am a pro-Purvi and I love the girl. It is so heartening to see the kid so selfless and wanting her mother to get the only happiness she craved for all her life and she should not have gotten to hear those words from her mother's real daughter. All an adopted child wants is, to be accepted wholeheartedly by the family.

That said, I do not think Teju was cruel here to either Purvi or Sulo or for that matter Archana. Yes, she was rude, rude to all 3, that was only because she was angry. Yes, anger does not let you to be rude, but calling Teju as cruel is also not justified. She has not done anything yet to be called cruel. It is 18 years of pent-up anger and the knowledge that the people whom she doted on and considered saintly (total strangers being so nice in a land far away from where she lived all her life), aren't that all. Each one of them could have told her the truth and did not and to her it is equivalent of cheating.

For Teju, all she knows is her mother never once came to see them, talk to them, make inquiries about them, cared whether they were dead or alive for the past 18 years, comes to know that her mother was all fit-and-fine and showering love on someone else instead, how does it feel for a child? Nothing justifies what Teju said, but the injustice meted out to her and her sister cannot be discounted either, whoever the reason was for that.

Clearly the revelation of the truth has jolted her and it changes the entire dynamics of all the relationships she made so far. Teju should not have told what she did, but it is not a big issue that cannot be forgiven, especially something told in a fit of anger. Her pain of 18 years is nothing in comparison to 1 rude statement. If all 3 (Sulo, Archana & Purvi) sit and think from her POV, I don't think they will hold it against her for what she said.

I'm waiting for Ovi's reaction when she calls up Arjun to tell this and if he either keeps quiet or does 'errr .. um... ' .. and she realizes even Arjun knew the truth!😉😆

@Varsha,
That was an excellent point you made about Manav. Completely agree.
Archana and Sulo can consider Purvi as their own, but it was so gracious of Manav to accept Purvi. As you said, Archana adopted Purvi without Manav's consent but Manav accepted Purvi without a question. He had no interest to be part of Archana's family and did it just for Archana, bcos she was the one who wanted to impose that relation.

@Nina & @Varsha,
Though I like that Purvi wants her parents to get back together, but I agree, I do not want her to meddle too much into that.

Varsha, exactly...even though the twins were 6 months old at the time of leap they have direct blood relationship with the K and D family, so entitle to what goes in these 2 family...Purvi only has a right to K family not Desmukh...Manav was extremely great to accept Purvi but the truth is Manav should/could have asked what was Archu trying to prove in adopting Poorvi when she abandoned here babies in their most venerable of times..isn't this a valid question...True great of Manav to accept Poorvi...sure if he didn't he could have been a villain in this forum, but in reality People find to just 'accept' someone as their own 'daughter' when the wife never even tried to get his consent in the first place...and in reality Poorvi is only the 'adopted daughter' of Archu and not of Manav (atleast, I didn't see him adopting her legally yet)...

it is a shame 2 read some people saying that just because purvi is an adopted child so therefore she does not belong 2 Desmukh family even though she has got manav last name...*Desmukh*...as well like his real daughters.

so just because someone is adopted means some of you people can't wholeheartedly love him/her just like you would to your own flesh and blood?

2 say someone who isn't your flesh and blood, so he or she shouldn't have a say in the family who he or she has gotten the last name as well is just cruel/rude and I'm not saying this becauuse I am a fan of purvi or arvi.

adopted or not she is a part of that family, archana is her mother so she have every right to be there and have her say too.

Purvi is as much Archana's daughter as Teju and Ovi .No question about that at all in my eyes .
When she was talking to Teju , she was talking about their mother .Both Teju and Purvi share the same mother so Purvi had every right to talk to Teju about her ...
