" border="">o without anymore bak bak i'll start. :-)Manav had invited everyone over to his house as he had realised the importance that Archana held in his life. He wanted to confess to his daughters that their aunty, the one that they adored, in reality was their mother whom they despised from the bottom of their hearts. For a change Manav didn't care if this would turn out to be a shock or something worse than that. Today all he cared was that Archana should get her well-deserved rights.
On the other hand, Archana was also ready to surprise her family. She made purvi dress up appropriately which to an extent confused purvi. Purvi hesitantly decked up in accordance to archana's orders and made her way out of her room. After getting ready everyone left the karanjkar house to go to the Kirdloskar house where that party was held due to less space in the deshmukh house.
When they arrived, purvi began to help around the house as she felt uncomfortable sitting there and talking to everyone, especially after observing how close Ovi was to Arjun. Arjun noticed purvi going from there and tried to get up but to no avail, since Ovi didn't let him!
"arre chalo sab ab khana kha lete hai phir I have got to inform you about something which..", manav started only to be interrupted by a voice.
"sorry to interrupt you uncle and I know ki you guys will be thinking that mai koi bin bulaye mehman ki tarah aa gaya…"……….. "arey beta no need to say sorry, I had invited you here, so no problem", archana said, she gestured him to come in and then turned her face to the questioning eyes. She smiled and got up to get purvi who was smiling at the visitor.
"Aai you know jai khurana right..?",archana began," Even I wanted to announce that jai likes purvi and wants to marry her aur main bhi isse khush hu",she concluded.
Everyone present there were happy for purvi and started congratulating her while she stood there staring at archana but deep in her heart she was happy that now Arjun and ovi's relationship is safe as she is now out of the way. Yes! Purvi had changed her mind now. Before, she had wanted Arjun to confess that he had genuine feelings for her but after all the blackmailing by punni she had thought that the matter should be left as it is. Although she was sad that she didn't get the love of her life she was more than happy for her sister ovi because she knew that ovi liked Arjun. She couldn't say it was love because it seemed more like obsession. Anyways now everyone was happy and so was she.
She looked down as she wasn't able to meet Arjun's gaze. His face had turned beetroot. Tears were threatening to come out of his eyes; he couldn't control anymore. He made his way towards purvi. Angrily, he grabbed her hand and brought her right in front of Archana. Everyone stopped. The room went quiet. Ovi, being the possessive one, tried to go near Arjun to make him leave purvi but Arjun shrugged her hand off.
"Aunty apne sab se pucha but what about purvi", Arjun said hoping that purvi would now protest. Unfortunately purvi didn't. She loosened her hand from his tight grip and said," aai I'm happy with your choice because I know that jai is PERFECT for me"
As soon as those words left her mouth, uncontrollable tears started flowing down his cute, handsome face.
"AB BAS KARO! Enough! kyu karna chahti ho tum aise mere saath. I know that I am the biggest jerk to have not stopped my engagement with ovi. Main ye bhi janta hu ki uss raat tum par kya beeti hogi. You must have gone through hell, and I know this because aaj mujhe bhi aisa hi feel ho raha hai. To loose someone you really love is very difficult. Today I am standing at the same place where you were once, and I am feeling very guilty of not holding your hand back then. But please purvi now no more of sacrifice, drama and farce. Ovi and I are childhood friends and I knew that ovi loved me but I never had any feelings for her. Due to ovi's childishness I had to agree to the engagement but never did I give any importance to the commitment and that is my fault I agree. Tumse milne ke baad pyaar ka mayna hi jaise badal gaya, I realised what love is. Tumne aek workaholic ko life jeene ka matlab sikhaya. Mein tumse pyaar karne laga, jis dil ko itne saalon se band rakha tha tumne use khol diya aur chura bhi liya par afsos ki mujhe pata hi nahin chala. Tumhe pata hai mujhe MAA ne ehsas dilaya ki mein tumhe leke itna sensitive aur possessive kyun hu. I confessed and when you reciprocated the feelings I was on the top of the world, but that happiness was short-lived. Sagai mujhse pooche bina hui, I tried to contact ovi but was unsuccessful. And then the drama of my engagement started but I only loved you and no one else. I cannot hold it any more, now this drama has reached a saturation point which I cannot bear. I am sorry everyone but I LOVE PURVI", Arjun felt on his knees while tightly clutching Purvi's hand.
Purvi was touched by Arjun's confession and she knew that today was the time when all the mess could be cleared and many untangled relationships could be sorted out. Ovi shot daggers at purvi, her eyes bloodshot and hands clasped together unable to bear the rejection.
"No, this can't be true. It means the phone call was true you had an affair Arjun you cheated on me and that too for this employee of yours. Why Arjun?" Ovi spat. Arjun looked helplessly at Ovi because he knew that his confession has come as a shock for Ovi.
"The only reason I rejected you is because I had accepted her(Purvi)", Arjun said as he held purvi's hand.
"I always knew that Barbie doll and Arjun were a misfit. Mein janti thi ki ovi Arjun se pyaar karti hai but I also knew ki Arjun ovi se pyaar nahin karta tha. I also sensed it during the engagement day that something somewhere is not right. But I could not figure out exactly what was bothering Arjun. I support Arjun but I am unhappy with the fact that tumne ise itna drag kiya dude, you could have stopped it during the sagai. As far as purvi is concerned, she is like my sister too, uska koi fault nahin hai ki she fell for you, and I support her. I am sad for my Barbie doll but I am happy for purvi", tej stated her opinion. Ovi was fuming due to tej's words. She went near the dining table and started scattering things around.
"you are supporting this middle class girl, sirf iss liye ki uski family ne tumhe support kiya. Are you paying off your debts tej. Is do kauri ki ladki ke liye tum apni behen ka saath chod rahi ho. I bet ise promotion Arjun ke saath affair rakhne ke liye hi mila hoga. Bloody sl*t", ovi said in anger only to get a tight slap on her face. She looked up to see who dared to do that.
"enough ovi. I cannot hear anything against my purvi anymore. For few minutes I thought maybe purvi is wrong but no more. She loved Arjun before knowing about you so I cannot say that she did it deliberately. I am upset with Arjun for dragging this matter too long, but as they say sab achche ke liye hota hai. But aaj mujhe sharam aati hai ki meine tumhe janam diya hai. Ha tumne sahi suna meine hi tumhe janam diya hai. Mein hi "woh aurat"hoon jisse tum nafrat karti ho. Money is not everything and I learnt a lesson today, achche bhavishya ke liye meine tumhe aur tej ko Manav ke havale kiya, par afsos Manav ne tumhe pyaar aur comfort toh diya par thode sanskar de dete. Tej is a sweet heart usme achchaiya hai aur ek aisa dil hai joh rishto ko paiso mein nahin tolta but you are just like your aaji jinhone mere aur Manav ke rishto ko paiso ke bal par joda bhi aur toda bhi", archana cried her heart out.
Purvi who was the silent spectator of the on goings went to her mother and hugged her, while tej looked at her father demanding an explanation. Manav told teju the half-truth that he knew, while vandita (I'm giving some sense to her in my os) decided to unmask her mother today.
After vandita disclosed the other half, teju, ovi, Sachin and Manav were left numb while savita was unable to meet their eyes. Tej went forward and hugged archu whilst holding purvi's hand. Manav came and sat next to archana too. Ovi didn't want to go, not because she still hadn't accepted archana, but because she definitely hadn't forgotten about Arjun-purvi. Sachin was ashamed but after a lot of hesitation even he went and he was warmly welcomed into the arms of archana. It just felt like the old times. Archana noticed that ovi was not a part of the hug; she got up to make sure that ovi had accepted her too. Ovi moved back on seeing archana nearing towards her, but archu held her hands and made her look up.
"Ovi, people say that marry the person who loves you not the one whom you love. But I disagree, you know why because in marriages acceptance from both the sides is required. Marry the person who loves you and whom you also love. You love Arjun unconditionally and you will always keep him happy, but will he be able to love you just the way you do. Rishte dono ki sehmati se bante hai, samjhote aur majboori ke rishte kabhi toofano ka samna nahin kar sakte. I hope you get what I mean to say. I want your happiness but not at the cost of spoiling the life of two people who love each other. Please accept the fact that Arjun and you were meant to be best friends;not lovers", archana stopped to get ovi's response, after getting none from her she started to move but ovi held her hand and hugged her, she sobbed in her mother's embrace and said "I am sorry for everything I did or said to you knowingly and unknowingly. I cannot force anyone to love me, I will wait for my prince charming". Everyone sighed in relief after finally solving the last and final problem.
"all are happy. Par mera kya. Mujhe sab bhool gaye. I am sorry beta mujhe maaf karde", said savita who was crying. Archu went near her and hugged her as well "no one is angry at you."
Everyone shouted at that time "all is well that ends well".
