Amazing as always my friend! I like that Manav is supporting Arjun and encouraging him to win Purvi back. Its good that at least in your story he is living up to his original ideals of marriage should be with the one you love...cant wait to see the rest of course!!! 😉

So here goes, as i re-read your chapter 4...can imagine every scene of it happening in front of our eyes...its amazing...

"His destiny was to be alone!"- just for now hopefully...temporarily, one hopes...

ARJUN- he lost weight- the loss of his love has taken a toll on him just as it has on Purvi too (you tie it in with chapter 1, and ..."especially as - Manav recalls Purvi's withdrawn behavior after Arjun left..."

Ovi- well done, very positive not clinging, no more PDA's thank God...

DK - just as we know him- quite matter of factly, and yet encouraging - Arjun to take a risk- for miracles to happen...but cho chweet he wants to be the chaperon- to get to know his bahu...

Yes, agree with the other post, sorry forget the name- that Shiv ji more for ARVI and Bappa more for Arman...

Verbalizing what Purvi did to Arjun was excellent- "Life...goodness...people...caring."(SIMPLE AND SO TRUE)..

Clarifying how many times he tried but was interrupted by fate not being on his side- liked that.

Purvi's POA- revocation- to seek employment elsewhere devastates our Arjun and he equates her leaving his company= leaving him..."She left me." (beautiful tones of love shown here)...

Manav's heart aching for Purvi - was very hard for me to digest- even tho a good thing - especially after how he treated her at the party- i know its been more than three months and 4 days...but still...

"She is the only one for me...Watched her shatter in a million pieces...most horrible moment...Her Aai Baba together- that's all she ever wanted"...HOW WELL HE KNOWS HER, Understands her...shows his deep love towards Purvi...😳❤️👍🏼

"His heart ached for her.." to see her and to feel her touch...I can feel his pain...

FINALLY ARJUN's TOTAL REDEMPTION, "Sorry I lied, looked like i cheated... but my intentions were honorable..." and there in "ARJUN grew into a man..." ⭐️👏

"Owner of Karma Industries...HE..." (does not look good for Arjun...competition...hmmm)...

CONFERENCE- still a couple of months away 😉 kya yaar fir wait karna padega..tabtak shayad Purvi ki life dikhaogi na Laurie through your writing of the next few chapters...Oh Gosh i hope against hope ki the "HE -owner of Karma Industries" does not court her and create more trouble for our dearest hero, humara pyara Arjun...hai...

Enough said Laurie, now time to do some work and go to sleep...keep at it my friend...this was good...a good sort of like in when people go to Church and after their confession, can begin anew...so for our Arjun, after he has confronted his Manav Uncle and Dad (thank u for bringing DK along with Manav Uncle, that ws good)...he can start anew...after explaining away his side of things...also one last point (last for the time being i guess...😉- this chapter was more relaxing and not so gut wrenching...a nice change of pace and tone for this wonderful LOVE STORY...which also i agree with another person who posted- maybe it was Bee or Janhvi or Shyamala or Arch...- that you have kept the LOVE for each other that ARVI have as the thread tying all your writing and have beautifully conveyed the emotions and the love story...and have brought us along with you on this journey of love...

👏 You have this innate brilliance about putting in words, expressing so eloquently, what one only thinks...and you express it so beautifully...so free flowingly...the practicality of it all...i just feel like listening to you...you sound like Obi One (spelling?) from Star Wars...the wise one...beautifully and well put...

Ok, all your clarifications accepted. In any case, now that you have launched yourself into the literary line, I am sure you are not going to limit yourself to fan fiction. So this will be good practice for you, in responding convincingly to the umpteen quibbles with which your future readers will bombard you!

I do agree that in your heart of hearts, you want to bring Arjun and Purvi together as quickly as possible, and so do we want you to do that. But it is not just a question of timing.

The problem is exactly the same as that facing the CVs that I had mentioned earlier, that once they come together again, the conflict, the tensions, and the unhappiness, all vanish, and they (presumably) live happily ever after.

Now, it has been said that while every unhappy couple is unhappy in a different way, every happy couple is happy in the same way. If one accepts this, the 'happily ever after' automatically calls for a second frame, THE END. That will make your readers most unhappy, and there will be nothing you can do about it.

So, the tale has to be stretched as long as it can be without becoming stale, rather like the tales Scheherezade told the Caliph in The Arabian Nights. Here is where you score over the PR CVs, for reasons that do not have to spelt out. I am also sure as you go deeper into The Raging Storm, it will grow on you so much that you will not want it to end either!

I have 2 cats.. one loves to watch TV...esp. tennis. When one player hit the ball, the cat usually goes to the back or edge of the TV looking for the ball.

Just like that, everytime towards the end of the chapter, I am like.. Plz Laurie dont stop after this.. but ofcourse you end the chapter where I dont want u to end.

CVs should definetely read your FanFic.

As I edit my post, one question...DK never opened his mouth despite knowing all, he revealed nothing? Even it seems Archana never found out? Else Manav ko she would surely have told na?
Now to wait for the London conference, the plot gets better, and thank u Laurie despite the age long wait for us fans, it came (the chapter length) longer than before and sooner than my expectations!😆

Arjun's emotions are dealt with so sensitively and he makes such a case in explaining himself that Manav cannot ignore his plea and gives his blessings to ARVI! How cute is that!
