Ovi doesn't even know Arjun thoroughly, and they are "supposedly" childhood friends. Can't she feel the indifference and the cold behaviour from Arjun towards her, all she cares about is mush, but understanding and knowing Arjun is totally beyond her. On the other hand Purvi judges people well, and especially Arjun after knowing him only for a few months.

You must not be in love...because if you were you would know that one can instantly fall in love, time has nothing to do with it.😊

Nikki dear, I never backtracked and I actually even stopped posting on the forum these days, since I don't agree with a lot of things...if you look back you will not find a post from me agreeing either way for Ovi calling Arch ma'am..as I said in my previous post...Cvs obviously have goofed up here...I don't think Cvs lived in either US or in Canada, so hardly know the custom or the 'respect of elder' aspect in Canada or US, please refer to my previous post regarding how kids call people 'not related by blood' in NA...and in the Indian context, Ovi is daughter of Manav and being related to him, will be treated with respect as the daughter of the company owner...and next in line... 'invisible caste system' (caste as in hierarchy in office, society and economic status) still exists in India (you will understand if you look at an Indian resume that still has a father's name and occupation in an employee resume) and btw, in interviews it is still asked what is your mom/dad educational background and occupation (and I say this because my bro who lives in India works for a multinational Pharma company there)...

And as for Arjun/Purvi, I hardly care...to me PR was all about Manav and Archu and their kids...and as I said Ovi is better off without Arjun...for how many of us can accept a person 'as is' ...Ovi was always shown to be just that, accepting and compromising always for Arjun...even being a super-model she never showed as attitude whereas Purvi (being what 18) showed attitude from Day1...

My question was posed to everyone not just u, so sry about the misunderstanding.Ovi may be the daughter but then so is Tej, so why does tej not expect archana, a middle aged woman to call her mam. and once again if archana had voluntarily called ovi mam that would be fine. but the way in which ovi expected a middle aged woman to call her mam bc she is the boss daughter was rude as especially she was on a one on one shopping trip with ovi, not attending a social function as an employee might. especially since ovi knows that arachana has been taking care of tej, her own sister. so if we go by indian standards, tej who considers archana family like becomes family like to also tej sister.

Born and raised in the Southern United States, and been around enough Indian guys to know exactly how majority of them are. So don't just assume things about people you don't know from adam.

Tanzeb dear, I guess you had less than cordial experience with Indian guys (and I am assuming here) then…feel sorry and sad for you…hope you have better experience in the future…

purvi hasnt evn let arjun his side of story, wat all she did was slp him,and screammm.evn wen he call her to meet in office, she still yelled at him.
NO offense but i dont get this neither from armaan as well as arvvi fans,y should shravani or ovi back out,whn they dont know the truth,y cant manav or arjun speak the truth.
if we tlk about sanskar i still feel ovi is a nice sanakari girl atleast much more then purvi-,when dk offered ovi to cum and stay with them, she herseld said it wont look gud unless we married, and there purvi shared a room with her boss(arjun),y wont people think wrong, she cld have said she isnt comfortabble or can call puni withthem.
and who can forget how she sudiced punnis boyfriend just to proove her point. although i dont agree, but for the sake ovi was little rude witharchana, but after taht day she was quite okay with karanjkar family
purvi is so obsseseb by herself to understnd arjun,
and one more thing ovi had accepted arjun withhis bad as well as gud qualities, thats luv

The fact is that she is a spoiled, entitled, and pampered snob. She doesn't know how to behave with people and she is narcissistic. She regards money as power. And Manav is to be blamed. But Teju turned out great, independent, respectful, and lovable. Teju doesn't ask Archana to call her Teju ma'am.

someone here said Ovi should have confronted Arjun directly and not ask others or even teju what to do ..

i just saw a scene, Ovi Teju on the sofa in K house, Ovi says - shud i tell or ask arjun about the phone call
Teju says No, and Archana Agrees .. that arjun will think u dont trust him

well there goes the chalu Ovi ka dimag .. and the maturity to put things in open so as to avoid complications but then .. oh never mind.

i think the problem is not so much because of the love triangle but the tangled relations in the deshmukh family. otherwise, like any other love story, this could have been resolved in one way or another. but the situation in the deshmukh house is so complicated that any move by one of the three young lovers is going to have serious consequences.
purvi knows the entire history, that's why she is treading so cautiously. she'd rather sacrifice her love than let it cause more conflicts in archana's life. arjun is relatively detached from the woes of the deshmukhs, so he's more concerned about himself and purvi rather than the others.
ovi, as usual, is blissfully unaware of everybody's feelings but her own... and that's the real problem with this girl. it's not wrong for her to love or desire arjun, but she's taking the spoilt little rich girl's attitude-- i want him, so he's mine. and i feel it's manav's fault more than ovi's. he has pampered her to the extent where she can't take no for an answer. to me (and most viewers, perhaps), ovi's feeling for arjun appears as infatuation rather than love.

I'm new to the forum but I cant help commenting. its frustrating to see everybody feeling sorry for Ovi. It seems they have forgotten what a spectacle she made herself when she lied and told everyone that Arjun was her fiance and then she forced her love on him. He made it clear to her that he loves her only as a friend but still she didnt care. When he rejected her she became alsad but she caused this problem herself. I think that she deserves what she is getting because His father convinced Arjun to marry Ovi because they felt sorry. Ovi deserves all the hurt thats coming her way because thats what you get when you force someone into marriage
