Brief Update
Manav calls savita i nCanada and gives the good news about Ovi getting eganged .Savita is first annoyed that this is happening without Ovi's aaji but when Manav says that he can cancel the engagement then savita tells Manav to go ahead with it as Savita wants to see Ovi happy . Manav puts the phone down and tells Archana that his mother is very happy .Archana jokes with him that if he had not told her then she would have made her son do sit ups and Manav too would have been troubled as he is his mother's number one fan ..Suddenly Archu realizes that Manav is looking at her with affection .Archana tells Manav that she has bought a saree to gift Ovi for her engagement but Manav tells her that Ovi does not know how to wear saree .
Archana gets irritated and tells off Manav for spoiling the children .She says that wearing a saree is part of the tradition and Ovi should know this .Manav says that she should have been there to tell all this ...he stops his sentence midway .Now Archana wants to give Ovi soemthign that she would like .Once Teju had told her that Ovi likes diamonds so Archu wants to quickly buy her that .Manav offers to help her with money but Archana says that she will manage .Punni is getting ready to go to the Surprise party when Manju comes and tells her that they have to go to Nagpur as Prashant's grandmother is sick and wants to see her bahu to be befores she dies .Punni is very angry that she cannot go to the party .
Manav and Archana go to a jeweller's shop to buy a diamond set for Ovi .Archana is really excited and asks Manav to help her choose the set that Ovi would like .Manav keeps looking at how happy she is buying her daughter a present . They both choose the same set .Manav again offers to pay but Archu says that he should let her because when Ovi will get married then maybe Archu will not be there with her . When it is time to make the payment , Archana sells all her gold bangles , when Manav tries to stop her she says that parents can do anything to make their children happy . When they reach the party hall , just before going in , Manav gives a present to Archana .He has bought gold bangles for her . He tells Archana that she is the mother of the bride and should be looking like one . That is why he bought these for her as she had sold all her bangles .
Archana is very happy , she thanks Manav and immediately wears the bangles .Manav too is happy .He tells her that they have to go in seperately as there is work staff in the party as well. Teju is greeting everyone at the entrance .She greets Archana . Archu tells her that Arjun invited all the employees so she is here . Archu goes in the hall, her eyes looking for Ovi .Sulochna also comes .Manav gets angry when he sees her . Archana signals to him that she did not invite her .Archu goes to Sulochna and asks her how come she is here and Sulochna tells her that she was invited by Ovi herself .Archu gets excited and asks her mother how Ovi looks like .Sulochna says that Ovi is extremely beautiful and looks just like her mother . Archana is very nervous because she had been waiting for this day for the past 18 years .
She feels a little emotional that she wil lbe meeting Ovi , not as a mother , but as an employee .Teju tells them that Ovi is up getting ready and wil lcome down only when it is time to give the surprise to Arjun . She is also nervous because Purvi will be coming to this party and would probably know that Teju and Ovi are Archana's daughters .Archu says that she does not want her own personal problems to create havoc in Purvi's life and she is also scared that Purvi could accidentally tell tej that Archana is her mother .Sulochna says that Purvi is very intelligent and they should trust her . Manav sees Sulochna fro ma distance and thinks that he knows that Sulochna is angry with her and he too is angry but he is glad that she came today because she also has every right to be present at her granddaughter's engagement
