Wow..what a dance by Purvi. Superb. 😆
I am so glad that you are openly writing your opinion .Please do so ...let me say what I have to say but you say whatever you want and what you believe in ...Say , if I don't like Manav these days then so what ...I am sure there are others who find more plus points in him than anyone else ...and if they believe in this character then they should say so ...like Jai does and I love this about him ...He stands up for this character and has faith in him ...
The rishta between Manav and Purvi is so beautiful ...there are no lies there ..Just see them from the begining , they have trusted each other and liked each other from the first time they met ...They have just got on , right from the word go ...and the feelings are so genuine from both sides ...Actually I will have to give some credit here to Archana ...she was the link between these two , there is no blood connection ..but all that love that she put in Purvi's heart for Manav from the time when Purvi was a child has now blossomed like a big beautiful tree full of fragrant flowers ..It reminds me of a song of my fav movie Amar Prem ..This woman had a strong relationship with a child and she gave him a lot of love when he had no one ..When he grew up , he came back for her and the little plant he had planted as a child had blossomed into a beautiful tree full of flowers ...Have a look at this video and it will remind you of Manav and Purvi ...Archana kept giving this little plant lots of love and made the bond between Manav and Purvi stronger and stronger with loveThe credit of this lovely relationship between Manav and Purvi also goes to Archana ...It should have been Sachin and Archana here but unfortunately , sachin 'e heart was fed with hate over the years and not with love like Purvi's ...
The credit of this lovely relationship between Manav and Purvi also goes to Archana ...
Ankita for me , can give any bollywood heroine a tough cmpetition also she is so graceful and dignified as Archana ...She is a mix of Rekha and Madhuri Dixit ...Asha is also pretty ..

Loved Arjun today, what a sweetie, loved the way he looked at Purvi while she kept yapping after the photo, the way he fussed over her when she found the food too spicy, when he protectively stood over her, and the stern half smile he gave her when she looked at him in askance. Purvi's questioning look turning to that of comprehension when she sees the drunks in the background was superb!
I don't get hassled by differing view points. Anyway, more the people form teams, gang up against each other about Archana, Manav, the more good it is for the show. 😆 That means the story is being talked-out, discussed, and kept in circulation. What more can the show makers ask for... 😆Oh it's a good thig about the forum that people have different opinions and they can discuss it with each other ...Jai and I have different opinions but we always have such a good time ...[Tanyaz, you are so right about the special relationship in 'Amar Prem'. I have watched 'Amar Prem' long time back when I was young, must have watched till Sharmila's character doting on the neighbor's child and dozed off there after. Next day morning my mom told me the rest of the story and I remember having tears in my eyes knowing how the boy grows up (Vinod Mehra) and comes back to take care of the stranger who had showered him with all the motherly love she had. Very very beautiful relationship. This also reminds me of a real-story that they showed on Crime-Patrol a few months back about how an unmarried Hindu guy who makes his living selling tea in small town in UP decides to take care of a 3 yr old Muslim boy he once finds in a park barely in a survival state. The guy with his meager earnings took care of his medical expenses and later took care of all his needs, gave all his love, educated him both from regular school and from a maulvi so that the kids religious faith is intact, even decided against his own marriage. When the boy was 12, a journalist visiting his tea stall comes to know of this unusual relationship, was so impressed that she ran a story on National TV. That is when the real parents came out claiming the child causing heart-breaks to the child, to the man and the real-parents ecstatic about finally finding their long lost child. DNA test proved the fact that they were in fact the real parents. To win the case, they even slapped a kid-napping case against the man and brought in the religious angle, but the best thing was the court's ruling due to the real-parent's background and the good upbringing the man gave the child. Court refused to displace the child from his foster father. The real parents lost the case even in high court and now they have appealed with the Supreme Court. Yes, it is a devastating fact for the real-parents, the boy and the man, but I was happy with the outcome. I cried loads watching that story. 😊OMG, what a story ...There are angels on earth , that's for sure .May God bless this man and his son gives him so much joy and happiness and takes really good care of him ...I hope they are always together ...Okay, I wouldn't give all the credit of that to Archana alone, the same way a parent alone cannot be blamed if a child does something untoward or the parent can't claim all as their credit when the child is successful. The effort has to be from both sides. The giver has to give and the receiver has to receive, only then it would survive. What Purvi is today is equally because of the good foundation she was given and also her own effort to stay in that path.No no, I am not saying that give the credit to Archana alone but she wil ltake some of that credit as she is the link between them ..She could have done what Savita and Manav did ...told the girl how the ugly end happeneed but she chose to only remember the good parts of the relationship .She is a selfless woman , she did not think about her but what was good for her daughter and she knows very well that a child who has no one , only her , could definitely need a daddy like Manav ( in her eyes Manv has the making of the best daddy in the world ) ..That is why she always made her daughter love him so that one day when he comes back ...he would become part of Purvi's life ..Of course Purvi should be given credit and even more to Manav ..It is not easy to do what he did .He was not even there when the adoption took place but his heart always melts when Purvi is there .Manav and Purvi scenes are just beautiful ...
Archana did a great job raising Purvi. She did instill good things about everyone and everything while her real daughter's innocent minds were being poisoned by their grand-mother. I wouldn't blame Manav either for this because, he might have been hardly there for them and he himself believed the lies his mother told, so there was no chance he could tell anything good about his wife to his children. That is understandable for me, the same way it is understandable for me when she thinks she can sacrifice Manav for Sachin, because I do not see selfish-ness in this act of hers. This is the only place where I beg to differ ...I blame Manav first for the hatred that is there in his daughter's heart and then Savita ..I hold him responsible and the reason is because I feel he got selfish ...his own hate for Archana was stronger than his daughters wellfare ...How could he not remember one single good thing by Archana .. She was the one who was with him in his time of need ...when even his own mother threw him out of the house and he slept on the streets with his new bride ...How could he not find one single good about Archana any more ...and so quickly believed the worst of her ...Go to this site called ehow ( my fav website ) .. You can ask how to do anythign here ...Put in the question ' how to be a good daddy ?' and look at the no. 1 answer ...If you are married, let your children witness that you sincerely love and respect their mother: your wife. This teaches your children that love should be in a home. It also prepares them to be a loving and affectionate mate in their future relationships.http://www.ehow.com/how_2175177_be-good-father.html
No matter what his problems , he should not have taught his children ( Teju's words ) to hate their mother and even worse , allow them to get close to another woman enough for them to want her as their mother and not the mother who gave them life ...The kids were in Manav's care , this happened in his supervision ..This is one thing of Manav that is the worst he has eevr done to Archana ...I agree with Jai that both Manav and Archana have hurt each other ...but making kids hate the parents is something that only Manav has done and that is the worse thing anyone could have even done to Archana ...This is the reason why I say now that he does not really love her or else he would have never done this to her ...In my eyes , there is no excuse for what he has done here ..For this he will have to face some sort of a very severe punishment in life ...or else it will not be fair , he should not get her back ..can't forgive him for this Bee...sorry ...
Now, you see, I can stand-up for both Manav and Archana and also for Hiten and Ankita 😆 I definitely commend Hiten for taking up the role of Manav which was taken to the heights of popularity by a different actor. Doing that is not easy, more over most of the time Manav is barking at Archana for his own mistake of believing his mother. At the same time I commend Ankita for carrying on as Archana. There are actors who exited out if they have to play mothers of grown-up children. So, her younger look is something I can overlook in the bargain.Hiten and Ankita are both doing a great job ...Most of the time manav is screaming and shouting but somehow he does manage to show his frustration more than his anger ...as if somewhere he knows that there is something wrong somewhere ...Ankita is just getting better and better ...
I love the way she is looking .Don't want her to look old at all ...
Okay, which dumb girl in the real world doesn't understand that a guy is having some feelings for her from the way Arjun looks at Purvi? Okay, okay, Purvi, I understand you are a belongs-to-the-middle-class-and-does-not-look-for-a-guy-herself kinda girl. I wonder if there are anymore such girls left in Mumbai these days 😆While at it, let me get off 1 more thing from my chest - i would like to give a big shout-out to Meghana Amal, the creative-head of PR.The way you and your team have been developing Arjun-Purvi's story is very good. These days when heroines jump and prop themselves in hero's arms, the subtle love-story developed for Arjun-Purvi keeping them within their limits is commendable. Yes, as a viewer there are things like wanting Arjun to come clean about Ovi etc, but I understand it is required for the story telling. There are times where I have left the show getting bored, but when there is substance in the script (R.M Joshi), the screenplay that is developed is very good and worth mentioning is the Direction. I especially like the camera angles they get for the scenes (I have mentioned this a long time back too). The innovative camera angles that are there is this show are exceptional compared to other shows I have seen. I am not a film-making student and my profession is far far away from any creative field, but I think for a film-making student the direction that is in PR is resource-ful. One can learn a lot from it. Not sure what is going to happen tomorrow content-wise, but appreciation for the team was long overdue from me. Not easy to keep the story going for 3 long years and yes, there would be lot of pressure of being the top show for a channel, so take a pat, Great job all of guys and good luck. Ekta should definitely be proud of the team she has.p.s: If someone reading this is associated with PR, please pass the message on.Interesting to read what you have written about the creative team ..there are a few things in the story I am not happy with .I think the relationship between Manav and Archana has been spoiled beyond repair now ...They have stretched it too much ..Just like the Varsha Soham thing ...resulting in fall in TRPs this week but definitely the love story of Arjun and Purvi is picking up ...I also want to see now how Arjun will handle Ovi ...It was a lovely post Bee..please keep coming in and and giving your analysis ...that story about the man adopting a little boy was so lovely ...

Thank you Jai and Tanyaz,Tanyaz, you are such a sweet person.😛 If I were anywhere near you, I would pull both of your cheeks for being so sweet and innocent. 😃Okay, now on to the serious things -I would have pulled yours too ...😆🤗The most important part that I forgot to mention was that even that boy did not wanted leave his foster father and go to his real family. That is the amount of love and care he got from his foster father. This is really a very touching story .I hope this boy always takes really good care of his daddy ...Tanyas,The difference that you mentioned about Archana saying good things about Manav to Purvi and Manav not doing the same for Ovi and Teju, as I see it, there is a very big difference in the situations both were in. Manav was angry with Archana, Archana wasn't angry with Manav. That is a very big difference in my opinion and when a person is angry with the other, and is devastated at the thought that she left him, you cannot expect him to be reasonable. That is what has happened. The main culprit here is Savita. She has told so much lies about Archana and brainwashed him so much and she has done it over and over again for several years that she has completely transformed him into an another human being. Manav isn't the same person now. (I see the glimpse of the real Manav only during his interactions with Purvi, not even with his interactions with Ovi or Teju. He might love them, but they remind him of Archana, who he thinks has played havoc in his life). If Savita managed to do this to a grown man, imagine what has she done to Ovi and Teju!Manav's mistake is to believe his mother. Manav's mistake is to let him be controlled by his mother. Manav's mistake is to not think about how could Archana do such a thing to him. Manav's mistake is not putting an effort to try and find out what could be the real truth. When the man is not himself, what could he ever have done? More over he was so far away in Canada removed from Archana that there was no way their paths could have crossed to have an opportunity for any discussion and reconciliation. That opportunity has come now and I hope it turns out positive. 18 yrs of hatred that was nurtured in his head by Savita is not something easy to be removed. As I mentioned earlier it is a small mis-understanding that could easily be solved, when he comes to know that Archana was actually given the Divorce papers instead of Air-tickets and she had infact come running after him till the airport and also when he knows that even this time, it is not Archana who sent the divorce papers and still agreeing to go along for Sachin's sake.Archana has also done mistake of believing Ajit and her mother over Manav during the Satyanaraya Swamy pooja after their 1st marriage. Couldn't she think how could a person like Manav who saved her baba from suicide could do such a thing? Archana has always been the sacrificing person but there is a limit to it and distributing children is a big NO, however heart-broken your own sister is. It is simply not right for the child. She doesn't know the limits of sacrifice but when your sane husband has put his foot down and said NO, then she should agree to it. No arguments there whatsoever from her. Archana's mistake that she did not try to contact for 18 long years, I simply cannot hold it against her because Savita successfully managed to make her feel the guilty party and sentenced her for the crime she foolishly committed, moreover Savita had other intentions. For Savita giving Soham over to Varsha must not have been that big an issue, even that was goaded over by Savita. I wonder if she ever cared about such things. Earlier she did the same by snatching Sachin from Shravani, That was very bad too.So, the culprits here are Sulochana initially and Savita through-out (except briefly when she had turned positive in-between). Sulochana wanted the best for her daughter, but Savita just wanted to destroy both their lives. There is nothing drastically wrong between Manav-Archana and they should resolve their differences and get back together. More so, when they have so much love between them. Manav is incomplete without Archana and so is she.And about Shravani, that again is Savita's doing to the innocent girls. I want to know how many times has Sachin really talked to Shravani in this 18 long years! I don't think Shravani was in the girl's life for 18 years. They might know about her and that's about that. I wonder if Shravani is aware of any of these things. If CVs want to create more drama, they can bring in Shravani again now using Savita and making her fall into Savita's trap once again, but I don't think Shravani was in the picture this long.About Shravani, we don't know Bee. We will have to wait and watch ...Sachin's words to Archana were ..' for the last 18 years , my mother is dying to get baba's love and she has not smiled because he does not love her back ' .Now this is a strong statement ..If Sachin is right , then it means that Shravani is stil lin love with Manav and desperately wants him back ...why is she thinking like this ..She was never a bad or a mean person ...someone must have given her hope that stil lshe has a chance with Manav ..She would not trust svita alone after what she went through with Savita ...Maybe Manav , unconsciously led her again to believe that there could be chance that she would be part of his family ..Maybe he didn't mean it bu t by keeping her as a part of his daughters life , this was the indirect message he was giving her ...Even Sachin firmly believes this that Manav and Shravani will be happy together after Archana leaves ...He is also a sensible mature fellow ..He cannot just believe this if he had not seen anything himself ...Other than this , I agree with all the rest ..Very well explained Bee...I agree , his biggest mistake is to trust his mother .Bee , I wonder what his reaction will be like when he finds out the truth .The man will be devastated ..I mean he trusted his mother so much ..From the age of 15 he has been working to give his mother and her children a good life , he eevn took responsibility of Sachin ...and look what she did to him and to his family ...
[If there were no mistakes and misunderstandings the story wouldn't have survived for 3 long years 😆Arjun-Purvi's story will totally depend on when Zee decides to end this show, otherwise we have to brace ourselves for a roller-coaster ride 😆If any other Zee show could have surpassed PR in the TRP race, or TRP of PR dipped lowest than any other show, then Zee could have ended this one, but poor Zee and poor PR, they have to run this show for Zee's survival than their own!Very true .This show needs conflicts and misunderstandings to survive ...I bet after this savita issue is resolved , we will see varsha and Soham coming back ...Chalo ...let's see how things go from here ...Bee , I had a lovely time interacting with you and all your arguments are very right and some are bang on correct ...specially about Manav ...
