The night passed beautifully, and the sun rose to a new day, a new beginning. Purvi went to the shower and came back wearing a beautiful pink churidaar dress. Her neck adorning the mangalsutra and her hair filled with sindoor.

After getting ready, she went to the mandir to do puja. Purvi completed the puja and turned around to find DK standing there; she went to him and bowed down to take his blessings.

"Purvi my child, my blessings are always with you. May you have a very happy married life", DK said and took the offerings from the plate and went away.

Purvi did not know what to do next and what to cook for the breakfast. She was pacing in the hall when alia called her "Hello aloo. How are you?"

"I am fine, was missing you so socha call kardo. I think I should hang up now I am at your place and if aunty sees me talking to you so early in the morning then I am dead", alia told her. Before she could hang up archana took the phone from her hand.

"How are aai and aaji? I will call them as well. Ok bye" purvi laughed at her friend.

"No need to call us. And so early in the morning you guys are gossiping. Purvi yeh kya hai" archana scolded her. Purvi diverted archana's mind by asking for help.

"aai I am confused on what to cook. Here servants are there, so what should I do", purvi complained.

"Purvi it's your first day so you have to cook something sweet. Why don't you cook kheer" archu suggested. Purvi also liked the idea of making kheer and after getting a little more scolding from her aai she hung the phone.

For teju and ovi it was not any normal morning, they were shattered for being kept in the dark. Tej decided to go to archana's home and demand an explanation for all the supposed bad things she had done to them.

Manav was also very sad and did not know what to do to get his daughters trust back. He decided to call archana and clear the matter; suddenly he saw tej rushing towards the door.

"teju beta where are you going?", Manav asked, concerned for his daughter.

"archana aunty …. I mean hamari archana aai ke ghar. I need to know why she left us", tej screamed. Manav ran after her and stopped her from going anywhere.

"I will tell you everything but you have to be patient. Just calm down teju, I want to keep you away from our problem. Archana and I mutually consented for the divorce and I asked for your and ovi's custody. She never wanted the divorce but our relationship was anyways going to crack so I asked for the divorce", Manav said tears in his eyes.

"baba then what about the things aaji told us. Our aai left us for money and alimony. Baba I want to know why aaji told us the lie, and if it was a lie why did you support her. Why did you make us hate our mother?" tej hugged her father and started to cry.

Purvi prepared the kheer, kanda poha and puri saag for breakfast. She was nervous as it was the first time that she cooked for Arjun and DK; she time and again tasted the dishes to check if anything was missing. After being sure that the breakfast was proper, she set the dining table and went to the kitchen to make tea.

DK came and saw the table ready, he was very happy for his mansion was again converted to home. His smile disappeared when he saw that Arjun has still not woken up. He called Purvi who immediately came there.

"Arjun has still not woken up?" DK asked on which purvi nodded her head in a no. This made DK angry and he asked Purvi to wake him up. Purvi went to her room and found Arjun still sleeping. At first she hesitated to go near him but then she chucked it (hesitation) on one side and started waking him up.

"Arjun wake up. Baba is angry at you for not getting up early", purvi pleaded. Arjun covered himself with blanket and asked Purvi to let him sleep. Purvi did not know how to wake him up and so she snatched the blanket and decreased the temperature of the room.

"pppuuurrvii, kkya kar rahi ho tum. Turn the AC off, it's getting cold", Arjun said, his lips shivering due to cold and hands folded together.

"Be ready and come for breakfast. Baba is waiting for you" purvi gave him the remote and blanket and went away from there.

Manav wanted to tell the truth to both the girls without any interference and he also wanted archana to be present there, so he called them all at an isolated address.

Archana learnt from Manav that teju and ovi knows about her being their mother. She wanted to come there and clear all their doubts but Manav wanted that they all sit together and clear the doubts. She reached the designated destination and saw Manav and her 2 daughters waiting for her.

"Manav I am late woh rickshaw nahin mil rahi thi", archana explained the reasons for her being late.

"No need to give explanation. We want to know what the truth is, why you left us, why you and baba divorced?" Ovi demanded.

Arjun after getting ready came down and greeted his father. He asked the servants to bring his breakfast.

"Arjun can't you see the table being filled with food? Or you are still half asleep" DK calmly asked, anger could be felt in his voice.

"Dad I don't eat these stuffs especially in breakfast. I prefer milk and fruits", Arjun said.

"yes but now you have to eat it. Your wife made the breakfast for us and not for someone else" dk ordered Arjun who quietly accepted the order and started to eat what was being served.

Purvi saw all these from the kitchen and waited eagerly for Arjun to start eating. She wanted to know if the breakfast was good or no, but didn't have the guts to ask. It was DK who called her to join them for breakfast. Purvi went there and started eating as well as waiting for some response.

"The breakfast was very good. I liked it", DK blessed purvi and gave her some money as nek, which purvi happily accepted.

"I am going to the office. You guys can resume your college after a week", saying so he went away from there.

"So Mr Arjun did you like the breakfast. If yes then you can at least thank me and if no then tell me why so" purvi asked.

"Because of you I got scolding from dad. I don't eat all these for breakfast and yet I had to. But it was very tasty and the kheer was yummy, keep some for neil that bhukkad loves kheer a lot", Arjun said.

"wow, even aloo loves kheer a lot. What a Jodi. You know no one can beat aai in making kheer, you should eat the kheer made by her" purvi excitedly said.

"you know my mom was also a very good cook, and the puri saag she used to make was incomparable and ….", Arjun stopped midway and turned around as tears started to dwell up. Purvi held his hands tightly and turned him around; she wiped the tears from his eyes. Arjun who could not hold it anymore hugged 🤗Purvi and started to cry.

"I still miss her. I saw everything with my own eyes and yet I could not save her. She screamed but I …. I could not ….."

"Arjun calm down, it's not your fault. It was bappa's decision and no one can change it", purvi responded to the hug and consoled him like a small child.

DK who had come back to collect his file saw the scene and felt happy that now there was someone to hold his son and love him. He quietly went away from there without disturbing the two.

After what seemed like ages, Arjun broke the hug and looked at Purvi with gratitude "Thank you. And sorry for the uhmm hug"

"it's alright. And had it been me even I would have hugged you and itna roti ki tumhari t-shirt wet ho gayi hoti" purvi joked to make the atmosphere lighter.

Teju and ovi were waiting for Manav-archu to start the story. Both were not in a mood to stay any longer. Looking at their faces archana thought of starting the story "Me and Manav had an arranged cum love marriage. We never wanted to stay apart; our love was as pure as water. After lots of hardship and failure Manav became successful and I got pregnant with our second child, I had a miscarriage first. ", archana stopped as the past memories started showing up, and so Manav decided to continue.

"After soham and teju were born it seemed we were complete. But varsha archana's sis wanted to adopt soham. Archana agreed but I said no. After sometime seeing varsha's condition I also agreed, but this time archana disagreed and told her sis to stay away from soham", Manav said and continued "soham was thrown from here to there by us and somewhere we both are at fault for soham's death. But then we both agreed and stayed firm on our decision to not give away soham. It was soham and tej's 1^st b'day when varsha on pretext of playing with soham ran away with him and they died in an accident in front of us"

"We blamed each other for soham's death and fights occurred between us on daily basis. I left the home and went away from there, only to learn I was pregnant with ovi. I told this to Manav and he came to take me"

"Aai always told me to divorce archana as she was not fit to be the mother of my child. Soham's memory was still fresh in my mind and so after ovi was born I asked archana to give me divorce, which she agreed to give"

"I was not rich enough to take care of you both and so I gave your custody to your father. That's why I never called you or tried looking for you, because I myself gave you up for your own good", archana burst out crying and felt on the ground.

Teju and ovi were shocked to learn that what their aaji told them was only lie and nothing else. They felt betrayed by their aaji. Teju and ovi forgave their parents but ovi was still cold with archana.

Arjun was playing game on his play station and eating his chips. Purvi was getting bored sitting alone and wanted to go out but Arjun was so busy in his game that she felt like smacking his game.

"Arjun can we go out please. I am getting bored, and I have nothing to do. It's raining outside can we go for a drive" purvi asked Arjun and started shaking him which made Arjun lose his game.

"Purvi what did you do. I lost because of you. And if you are getting bored then go out but why take me" Arjun annoyingly asked.

"You will also come and that is final. Please yaar as a friend only mere saath chalo, I am getting bored bored and more bored" purvi made a puppy face which melt Arjun and he agreed to go with her.

"Never make such faces again. Pass me my bike keys it's on the table there" purvi gave him the keys and said "you know my aai also melts with my puppy face. It's a good way to fulfil your demands"

It was raining heavily and the roads were blocked due to traffic. Arjun and Purvi were also stuck in the traffic and were getting agitated with waiting for so long. Suddenly Purvi got an idea; she got down from the bike and asked Arjun to park the bike somewhere near the shops.

"Are you out of your mind? How can I park my bike anywhere, what if it gets stolen" Arjun said shocked at Purvi's demand.

"Arjun lock the bike and no will take I promise. Please" Purvi pleaded. Arjun agreed to her pleas and parked the bike at a nearby shop.

Purvi started walking and asked Arjun to follow her. After walking for 20 mins they reached the beach which looked beautiful and the rain added to its beauty. Purvi started to twirl and dance in the rain, her arms opened to embrace the rain drops which looked like pearls. Arjun stood there completely mesmerised by the angel standing in front of him; he started moving towards her and forwarded his hand for a dance. Purvi gladly accepted the offer and placed her hand on his. Arjun pulled her towards him and placed his hand on her waist, while Purvi kept her hand on his shoulder.

Arjun swayed Purvi in his arms and then twirled her around, both lost into each other's arms and the mystic feeling of love.

Their hands entwined together and eyes locked together refusing to even blink for once.

The world did not matter to them; both were so lost in the moment that they even forgot that they were at a beach. Arjun turned Purvi such that her back was facing him, he hugged her from back lifted her up.

He placed her down and both fell into each other's arms enjoying their first rain, their first dance and maybe accepting their feelings.

Both were unaware that a huge crowd had gathered there and were circling them, it was when all started clapping that they realised what had transpired between them and felt shy for their stupid act.

"May God bless you? Newly wedded ha? Don't feel shy😳 it happens when you are in love" one elderly lady said and blessed them.

"Such a sweet couple, so in love" they heard someone say.

Now both were once again feeling uncomfortable and confused😕 as to why all thinks that they are in love.

"Bhuttaaa" purvi suddenly screamed…... "Can we have bhutta? Come on Arjun you will like it" purvi forced Arjun to come with her and have the corn.

"Bhaiyya 2 bhutta. One with extra masala and the other one mild" Purvi placed the order. They both sat on a rock and waited for their corn to get ready. After sometime the stall vendor came and gave them their bhutta. It was really hot and it had stopped raining as well. After finishing the corn Purvi took Arjun to a nearby tea stall and ordered for a masala tea with khari biscuit.

"Purvi what is this khari. And please bhutta ke baad tea, are you mad or what. I am not hungry" Arjun said

"Arjun you will like it. And no masala tea in such a lovely weather impossible" purvi said. A small boy bought their order, and Purvi thanked him. Purvi sipped the tea by making srrr noise which annoyed Arjun.

"Purvi stop making the noise. Drink it quietly, the masala tea is so tasty let me enjoy it"

"If you really want to enjoy then drink like me, it is fun and you will love it" purvi coolly said. Arjun tried drinking the tea in Purvi style and really enjoyed it. After finishing the tea Purvi started looking here and there and before she can go to another stall Arjun pulled her towards him and said "I am full and even you are not going to eat anything. We are roaming like this since afternoon and its evening now, dad must be at home by now so can we leave" Arjun seriously asked Purvi on which he was again greeted by a puppy face.

"only one kulfi ice-cream and then we can go please" purvi said innocently.

"Next time when I talk to you I am going to close my eyes. This sweet and baby face will lead me to danger" Arjun said while Purvi teased him with her tongue😛. Arjun took Purvi to the kulfi stall. Purvi ordered malai kulfi and mango kulfi for herself and started gobbling them like a child. Arjun who was silently eating his malai kulfi looked at Purvi amusingly and wandered if she is the same silent and khadoos Purvi he knew.

Both walked to where their bike was kept and left for their home where a big surprise was waiting.

The times spend together with our loved one is always the best and precious, and the same love filled moments makes us realise where they stand in our life.
