Pch76, Manav is a spoilt brat too - I didn't like that he hesitated to be there for Purvi, also that he does not want his daughter to learn to cook. He is a good human being though just a little lame at times.
Tanyaz is so right, Purvi is not in love with anyone except her dad! She did look surprised as she has never thought of Vinay that way and as she explains to Teju she does not want to leave home.
I thought the CVs are making a big deal about the orphan/adopted bit. She is Archu's daughter and bringing it up over and over again doesn't make sense to me. If I adopted a child, I wouldn' t be rubbing it into her face nor would I allow the child to constantly keep referring to the fact that she is adopted. If she is not Archu's by birth, Purvi is hers by legality and more Archu's than Ovi and Teju even having been raised by Archu. I do not want Purvi to always feel "oh, I am adopted", she is too strong a character and maybe ingrained gratitude popping up once in a while is okay for the story line but harping on it sounds like a pity party.
Shruti, you may be right, Arjun might not let her leave early and she might turn in her resignation for that - I think it is the same kameez she is wearing today that is shown in the Promo too. Won't it be a shocker to poor kadoos to know Purvi wants to leave early for her own engagement?? Can't wait for that!!
