In the flashbacks, the new Manav talks a lot more than the old Manav and seems to be more confident. They didn't just change the actor, they changed the character. The old Manav was a bit dull with a personality that reminded me of dry toast. Still he was a nice chap. This one, well, he's a bit more different. EK is trying to rehash her show. Sad, but true. Come one Ekta, stop doing this to us.

I really like this Manav, he seems more confident and assertive, less playful than the other one...sadly though, we all know that he's just a 'mama's guy"

i luved d character played by sushant
i miss the handsome poor mechanic a lot ...his shyness, cute smile , soft voice ,his unconditional love for archna in eyes said all...it touched my heart...he was too nice...

Both Sushant and Hiten did a great job of being Manav. I like both.

I agree; I think it was very wrong of EK to change the character of Manav in the flashbacks. I feel I am no longer watching the same show. Regardless of what I felt regarding his personality, this is the Manav with whom I am familar and while I like the "new" Manav (in the flashbacks), it is not the same.

Both are good actors no doubt but they are not playing the same Manav, that's not right on the part of EKs team.
