manju didnt do that at all ... she was not archana who dragged manav twice to court

about the fd's ... yes i agree that savita took matters to extreme ... no mom shud destroy her son's marriage for money sake

but i blame manav also ... just tell me wat was so much difficult in keeping atleast some fd's in ur mom's name ... was that too much for him ... after marriage y shud a son not do savings on mom's name

i remember that epi ... savita was not angry that fd's were on archana's name ... she was angry bcoz not a single was on her name ... she hadnt even expected 50-50 ... even if manav wud had kept 10 for savita & 90 for archana ... still savi wud had been happy ... bcoz she had improved

having nil made savita furious & left out ... i wont blame completely

manav kept archana to guard fd's ... it was like keeping ur loyal cat for guarding ur milk ... cat will definitely show colours 1 day

& how strongly archana said that not a single rupee shud be given to vandita ... so she did misuse manav's money right

Mr. Prasad,

You're conveniently forgetting that it was Archana who kept telling Manav to put some FD's in Savita's name and he didn't do it. He promised to do so in the future, but Savita found out about them before he got a chance to do so. Archana is not at fault here.

Also, it was Manav who precisely told Archana to break the FD's to pay for Sulochana's house. Yes, she should have refused, but she is not to be blamed 100% for the FD issue.

When criticising a character one should be fair and balanced, inculde all guilty parties in the cirticism, not just the same single character all the time.

u were in so much hurry to post against me ... that u didnt even read properly

i never blamed archana in the MAKING OF FDs ... der i blame manav only

i am blaming archana in USING OF FDs ... she used all for her maayka without thinking of manav's sister

Just like Varsha doesn't think she should justify her views, and the mods said the same thing, I will not justify anything to you.

I will be happy to discuss my views with you, but you must learn to express yourself in a respectful manner. What you dish out is what you will receive. If you are harsh and disrespectful in your tone when posting, people will be harsh to you in return.

For your information, Archana refused to give Ajit money on one occasion only, after she found out he didn't want it to open a business (as he lied to Vandu about). He only wanted the money to "get back at Manav". Archana found this out and was looking after Manav's interest. I'm sure you wouldn't want Manav to lose money in this way, and for anyone to take advantage of him.

If Archana, after finding out Ajit was trying to cheat Manav out of money, had remained quiet and allowed Ajit to get the money, you would be one of many who would have chastised her for saying or doing nothing, and for allowing Manav to be fleeced.

You can't eat your cake and have it!

In addition, if Manav or Archana gave Vandu money, there's no guarantee she or the family would benefit from it. Remember after the leap when Vandu was working and Ajit wasn't and he was always drunk, Vandu would hide money in the wardrobe for their daughter's school fees and to pay bills.

When Ajit found this money, he took it and used it to drink and probably gamble, after beating up Vandu. So, giving Vandu money wouldn't help her most of the time. Also, if Manav and Archana paid bills for Vandu or bought groceries for her, Rasika and Ajit would confront her about where she got the money to do all these things, so you see, blaming Archana alone won't help the situation. Even if Manav alone gave Vandu money, there's no guarantee her life would be easier as a result.

@bold...please be respectful when addressing me. I address you in a respectful manner, so I would appreciate the same treatment.

I still maintain Archana is not at fault, in the main, for the use of the FD's.

She never used the FD's for her maika/maayka (don't know the correct spelling), when Vandu's situation was happening. The FD's were used for Sulochana' house much later and then at the behest of Manav only! Archana didn't decide on her own to break the FD's in order to buy her mother's house.

Also, in case you forgot, Manav was the one who didn't want to get a flat for Ajit as he didn't trust him. It was Archana who insisted and if you remember clearly the scene at the dining table in the chawl, where Archana and Manav were looking at documents about flats and were talking about what Vandu would like. They wanted to get a flat for her, but as has happened very often with other tracks, the CV's never carried this track any further. They conveniently had Savita talking about Archana not wanting to buy a flat for Vandu, which is totally incorrect.
