satish was good i nadvise but honestl yI felt his adise was so obvious ...it was manav who shockedme that he could think so wrong of Archan despite of all that he has seen of her ..satish knew that Archu could never hurt anyone ...strange Manav did not believe this and Staish 's saying that there has to be a reason .....that was somethign very obviosu and Manav shouldn't have been told about this ..

This was my reasn ..right or wrong , don't know ...but this was my reason ...

For FOTD , I voted savita ..I thought she is a fool because she is hell bent upon hurting a son like manav ...

I'm not saying you are wrong. What I'm saying is that some people are voting in your thread just like that some times it looks like fun where it has no value. Like don't you think today Satish or Sulochana deserved more than Archana. I'm just puzzled that's which thread made not only yours, but also few people who made thread to bash Manav action on ME.

As far as awards it been rewarded for acting. And I see last week we didn't have PR in top 10 also that is when Archana was fighting with Savita, so doesn't it mean that people are liking this act of Archana, but polls it indicates other way round which is why I'm puzzled.

this is one thing I am sure about ..The threads have to be democratic ....or else I might as well close them ....

There is more to PR besides ArMan...I do understand we have members from all over the world and with different views and they all should be respected be it in SOTD, FOTD or any other topic..😳

One more thing..I so wish IF would get rid of this "LIKE" button..People being judged for hitting the liking button..THere are many reasons for liking a post...How it is written, content ETC..But members get judged for whose post they click like to 😳

i liked your post and then decided to comment😆... see i LOVE LOVE sushta and arman. but i am fair and realistic, so i dont like it when one character get undue lenenicency over the other because of their popularity.

and i agree that there are MORE characters than arman and i dont like

1) their constant glorifying at the cost of each other and others

2) their constant interference in other's loves...

i think we should discuss the story lines and whether is this realistic as it has been portrayed as one such show.

and tanyaz, you bear NO responsiblity in the voting pattern as its a free forum. but in that same line, other members, have the same right and hence this topic.

PS: i dont think anyone here is cribbing.

Tanya I understand those topics have to be democratic but it is defeating the purpose..

Thanks for inviting me to those topics..Nisha and I had already worked it out via PM...Than I find out that a single post of mine which was on Ankita's character was reported and the topic was closed with mod note which gave me an indication that I am not welcome there so at this time I am remaining out of those fan topics..It is not only my opinion as today we see many feeling the same way...Too bad good members with realistic views have been driven out of this section by die hard fan of Archu...That is the fact and I stand by it..Fun is out of PR honestly...😳

Tanya I do appreciate all your efforts on Update, SOTD & FOTD topics...U have tried your best to remain fair but I think those polls are defeating the purpose if u really think abt it..

Sadvita we lost Kools who was a hardworking member for more than 15 months with her daily commentary with very candid and hillarious views on the whole serial not only ArMan...

Even I would have left too last week after finding out abt my post being reported, topic closed with note from mod ..The intentions of some is to drive all those members who are not Fans of Archu or ArMan out of the section...

I can write names of many many good and regular members who have not come in last two wks since the big hungama..Does IF only support Fanship or being fanatics of leads or to discuss the serial itself????? I am totally lost here..

Disclaimer: I am not fan of any particular member..All are equal to me...I am friends with all of them...So pls don't even tag me as belonging to some click..

One last thing .....

If we just look at SOTD of today ...

47 votes have come by now ...number will increase even more by tomorrow morning ...

The members who have posted their comments are only 14 ......I counted them all just now ..

This means that members who are familiar and post are not even 30 % of the entire vote count ..

70 % of the votes are coming from the silent majority and their opinion is as important as mine or any one else's .......

That is the main purpose of this thread ..To let the silent majority have their say in their fav show , not just a group of members who have time to post ...someone say like me ....

Anyway ..I have said what I have to say . I respect others and their opinions , even if they are contrary to mine ....😊

Varsha, Sadvita, and others...i want to say something here...I think it is wrong to label anything that has happened on the forum being due to ArMan fans or Archu fans. Kools and others were not driven from the forum, nor were you reported because of the people who follow the leads. I am definitely not a lead follower at all but try to comment on the dynamics of the show, and they (the characters) all irritate me from time to time, so i am not trying to defend my own position or of the lead followers... I think we all know that it was simply certain people who came to instigate, who probably didn't care about the show, but only wanted to stir up trouble. They weren't the regular ArMan fans at all but only troublemakers...

.....and if i dare say, with all due respect to the mods, the rules of the forum can be very self defeating. For example, why should someone reporting someone cause the thread to be shut down? Perhaps, someone reported you on purpose Varsha, knowing the thread would be shut down. That shouldn't be allowed to happen. Reports should be examined and not cause an automatic shut down of the thread. That's not fair to the person who started the thread or the people who are discussing.

The regulars who discuss on the forum seem to me to initiate healthy give and take...and those who disappeared since the brouhaha happened should come back. Forgive me mods but imho the ones who come to make trouble succeed and the ones who are trying to have healthy debate get driven away. The forum rules should not treat the accuser and the accused with an equal hand until it's proven that the accused was also trying to stir up trouble.

So, Kools, come back, Varsha & Sadvita and others who are strong of opinion and not fans of Archu, please keep posting. It makes for a great debate, and if we show respect to one another, we can learn from each other...and maybe even opinions get changed.

Mods I ask two things of you. 1) Please keep this thread open, it's a good discussion and if you want to remove my posts because i question the forum rules, remove me but don't punish Sadvita by closing her thread. ... 2) Next time please discipline and remove the people who come to purposely bait and attack and not treat everyone the same, as if all were at fault. There should be no such thing as even handedness when one comes with purposeful malice.

Hi all,

Haven't posted here in a while because one, I dont want to start a thread or post and then not be able to continue discussions on it since I've been busy, and two, I agree with Varsha and all the others who have said that a lot of non-ARMAN fans, not haters mind you, just non-ARMAN fans are not posting anymore. So I find there's really nothing to discuss when everybody's just commenting on how good Archu is and all. I do actually like what Archu is doing now, except the birthday party fiasco. But that's not the point. I visited the forum because of Kool's commentary which welcomed discussions on the story itself and members who were not just lead actor's fans could post. Since that has stopped, I dont see any one post where I can just say what I want and discuss when I have the time. I've been tempted to post a couple of times since Kool stopped her commentary, but like I said, I dont want to start a discussion, and then not be able to continue it due to lack of time and/or patience. Both Kool and you, Tanya have been very good in that aspect---I think you have opposing views told in a mostly unbiased manner; but also the time and patience to do it daily.

However, it is also true that now only the ARMAN fans, more specifically Archu fans remain. I will give you a very specific example of when the SOTD and FOTD threads were oh-so-wrong. The episode in which Madhuri first announced her intention to divorce with Archana's encouragement. That day, there was even a thread where I myself participated, where some agreed Archana was manipulative, some agreed she was manipulative for other's sake, but everybody agreed she was extremely foolish. But that particular episode, she was voted SOTD and Varsha, who was obnoxious and horribly rude but definitely not foolish was voted FOTD. Varsha was rude to madhuri that day, but she was not foolish--she did not support her sister going back to the bigamist. Then how come Varsha surpassed Archana in votes for FOTD that day, and Archana was voted as SOTD for defending Madhuri? Really--when she was the one who brought her to her home very well knowing her sister's mentality and her own attitude towards Madhuri until a few days back. That seems to me a clear case of fanaticism and bias. Maybe it is the silent majority who is deciding the SOTD and FOTD, but it is definitely biased. I didn't want to say anything then, because I didnt want to offend anybody, especially Tanya who is doing a good job. But since somebody has opened a topic on it, wanted to give my take on it. And besides, I missed posting here. 😳
