Yes . Since I come from a traditional , conservative Marathi family , I feel incensed on seeing the parents , the baby , the responsibilities forgotten and her maayka all the time in that room . Our values .....the typical Marathi values r different , and this serial upheld tradition .......somehow I don't see it anymore . I dont like it at all .
Kool and Sid , I know when the characters do something wrong we blame them not the writers but in the case of Sachu we should try and see what the writers are doing .I hate what they are doing and I hate what they are doing to the character of Sachu but honestly , they don't know what to do with this character ...
They got him back and now they have made him just disappear .
Forget Manav and Archana , even Savita and Damodar don't take care of him ..They leave town , go to shoppings and eating out and Sachu is never ever there ...
Before the room used to have Sachu's toys and now even the room doesn't even have his toys ....It is like a the baby just doesn't exists ...The writers are really confused as to what to do with this character ...
As for Savita and Manav ......I will be very honest , I am kind of confused here what I want to see happen ...
Whenever Savita calls Archana a Churail and other nasty things , then I don't want Archu to go back to the house because I know Archana will take the abuse quietly and Manav will also just look the other way .....To be honest I don't wan tto see that at all ...Archana's memories of that house cannot be good ones ...she says they were but I think she is lying ...Few days ago she even told her mother ' I have to like Aie because of my husband because he loves her so much ' . And I am talking about the savita even before Sachin's death , just after the wedding ...dowry , dowry ....all the time dowry ...gold and more gold ....Poor late Kaka was the one always taking care of Archana otherwise savita was hell bent upon making chutney out of her ....
Even now her anger about losing on the money because of Archana has not reduced .....
OK that I was saying from Archana's point of view ......
I know the day she is told to go back by Manav , she will go back and try do her best but for now I can understand if she is a little scared about going back .....
From Manav's point of view ...I think what is coming between Manav and his mother is the fact that Manav is angry why his mother is not accepting his decision ...Let's say if he had married Shravani and bought her home and Damodar had thrown him out ...Even then he would have taken a seperate house ...kept Shravani there and would have never come to live with his parents unless they would accept him to live there with his wife ....
For him it is a matter of Principle more than a matter of love .
His major grouse that he told his mother was ' Archana knows what I want and you don't ' it was never that Archu loves me and you don't ....
When Manav makes a decision , he expects that decision to be accepted .... by all ....
Damodar was dying at one time and his dying wish was that he gets Archana back as his bahu ....did he listen to his dad ...no he didn't . One can call him the worst possible son then ..
But that is how he is .No one is allowed to come in the way of his decision ( right or wrong , that doesn't matter to him ) not Archana , not his parents not Vandita not Sulochna or Manohar , not Shravani .... No One .
Earlier his decision was to marry Shravani and love only Archana ....As long as his mother was going along with it ( it suited her to do so anyway ) and praising Archu and also giving love to Shravani as the ghar ki bahu he was very happy with Savita ....
The problems between him and Savita started when Savita stopped loving Archana and now he is married to Archana ( his own decision ) and will not budge until Savita gives in ....
He is a very very stubborn person ..Savita has no choice but to accept his decision ..he is not too bothered about what happens to Archu when they come to live ..He knows that Archu will tolerate abuse and will one day Savita will just get tired ....
One more thing ...I am 100 % sure that he will ensure that his parents have money and live comfortably ..Also very sure that he loves Savita hell of a lot ...I think more than anyone else in this world , it's just that he does not like anyone challenging his decisions ....
