Tanya as i see it , guilt is not what PROMPTED her love for Manav . She was sheltered , he was the first man and boom she fell for him and she is a one man type . She will never be able to love any other man . If u ask me , she got the seeds of love during all the bonding that happened in their courtship days ...........the bangle scene , gajra scene , the omg we r both comfortable eating pav bhaji scene . Then during the first 15 days they slept apart , looking at each other with that bed in between , she FELL FOR HIM . The reason she went angrily with Sulochana upon seeing the photos was rather the anger Vaishu today feels for Madhuri .......she was , unknown to herself in love then and unable to bear them she didnt even give him a chance to explain and stormed off . The only thing was she didn't KNOW it then . Later peer pressure was too much but if u notice she was not removing the mangalsutra and keeping vrats for him although seperated . Oh yes she was in 'love' alright . By the time she fully got into touch with what feelings she was experiencing it was the day of her engagement to Satish ........she blurted them out very honestly in public . And to this date she has been honest with them . . She retraced during Jaywant phase due to guilt ..coz Sulochana had accused her that since u met Manav we have become zero to u . She felt guilt coz that was TRUE . Her world was Manav now , not her family . And that guilt prompted her to step back from manav .........it was a pathetic attempt in which she was trying to be strong but was failing miserably every minute and fyi she ran off the moment Satish told her to , grabbing the twig like someone drowning wud have . I see guilt for replacing her family . I see no guilt that prompted love for Manav ........Sachin 's death occured much later , she fell in love much earlier as I see it ., and that too , very instinctively . .
