There were so many tracks which had potential ..
The court case ......
Manav finding out that his mother was the one who initiated the divorce proceedings in the first place ( he still doesn't know ) ..
Manav making it big on his own and showing all the people who opposed him that he had credibility after all ..
Archana working and Jaywant after her ....
Prakash and the murders
Manju getting punished ....
Manav and Archana's romance and their life together ..
But the creative team has no clue how to show these tracks ......

Everything in the story seems so artificial now. And it's not like they had to put in all these fillers because they were out of potential, there were a lot of loose ends left to explore from just the original story (before divorce and to an extent before the remarriage). I caught a few scenes last night on TV and goodness the quality has really dwindled. I honestly don't get why they're going on with the current plot points, if they can even be considered a plot. These filler tracks on siblings of infertility and infidelity - which have been very shoddily done - are things that, if at all, should come in at the last 3-6 months of their contract with Zee when nobody is watching the show anymore but they still have to show something.
Really, they're wasting the potential of the story, the technicians, the actors, and most of all the stronghold they had on the audience.
But I still like your commentary, Kool. The images of Dharmesh in the orange shorts and turban rival the stories on Manohar. 😆

TB what to do .😆😆😆😆 Sometimes when the episodes SUCK beyond repair I literally put in things with MY imagination ...........the way I wud have commented when I was ...say ....16 . And then I add some tadka of my teekha comments ..............theres no problem getting angry with the show coz it really HELPS u a lot in that way . So Teekha comments come VERY EASILY to me . And lo behold , my awfully ungrammatical commentary is READY . And people sitting in offices all over giggle post lunch .😆😆😆😆

.
I think script writing team has changed , they r taking story down the drain again .
If Vaishu wants to GO BACK , she shud go .And yes , if Varsha wants to adopt or buy babies , go DO IT .Less headache for us , just get them out of the picture .
The original story was much better , much better .This SUCKS .Post divorce sucked , POST Marraige SUCKS even more .

I can understand .Your head must not be aching it must be throbbing with pain. and spinning too at the way the writers are spinning the YAWN 🥱(not yarn).

I had mentioned earlier that I dont watch PR on a regular basis.I survive on a daily diet of Tanya's updates. All my comments are based on the updates. At times I catch up with the repeat telecast. Kudos to the two of you for making such a bi sacrifice for us members. My kids watch SAB . So generously whenever there is a commercial break they let me have a glimpse at PR. Now that I dont have the connection I dont have to go through the boring track in PR. 😆😆

How regressive can the CVs be.? I can understand it is painful for a woman to know that she is unable to conceive . But it shudnt be shown as if it is a life and death question. What about the feelings of those women who are going through such a situation. Won't it depress them? Let them show that Varsha and Satish adopt a kid. better still send her away to the US. Satish can have an affair with someone and chuck her out of his life. I dont want him to do this to her for not being able to have kids. but for the pure reason that she doesn't deserve his love.

Same with Vaishu's decision. How better is she than the maids who put up with domestic violence just to remain married. They tolerate even bigamy (trigamy too. we had a maid long back at my granny's place .Her husband was so large hearted that he married all the three sisters. ). Shame on PR for showing an educated woman going back to her bigamous husband just to secure a future for her kid and to ensure that her mother doesn't hit the bottle ...oops i mean the pump.

Have a great day.Mine has started just now .I have a long list of jobs looming large right in front of my eyes. I am trying to ignore it to read the posts.
Duty beckons.So have to go,
Bye
Love.

Hey Kool,
No commentary today? :(.. Your awesome commentary brings life to the already boring filler episodes. But I guess, today's was too lack lusture for you to waste your time commenting. I am a new member here, but I have been following your commentary since a few months. so, thumbs up to your commentary... keep it going. you should consider writing a book .
Now for Feb 1st episode, I thought Archan prayed that Vaishu should start a good new life again far away from Dharmesh and all that nonsense. Did I hear it worng?? cuz here in your commentary and all other following posts you guys are talking that Archu prayed for Vishu to go back to Dharmesh. aisa toh nahin hai...
For today's episode, must admit Batat had the wits and guts at the right time to fake a sooooooooo could be true lie at the bat of his eye lid. That guy is too wickedly smart...to have fooled so many ppl for so long.
Never heard of anyone allowing raah chale log to freely stay in their haveli in aaj kal ka zamana...that too near a metropolis...had it been a remote village in Rajasthan...where gaanv ke mehmaan bhagwan samaan would have been accepted.
I dont understand the psyche of Armaan and Vaishu, what are they trying to achieve by not telling Varsha -Satish and their parents about Dharmesh's truth. What is Vaishu thinking now?? If she goes back, then what about Madhuri and her ailing kid? DO they not have the first right on him??? Where has her sanskaar gone?? does she want to take a father away from a dying kid?? Or loves being called a RAKHEL??? What is she waiting for?? A god muhurat to leak the news??? When Archu advised Vaishu to take a decision on this sooner than later, was she giving her an option to go back to the adultrus Batat?? They were there to support her come out of this, not push her back into this. What are the CV's trying to preach, that all girls coming from vulnerable families should put up with this bullshit in their lives else their parents might die, or their whimsical siblings might lose their mind?
DO the CV's not have the responsibility to discourange such thinking still prevalant in our society?
Why are they showing women so helpless to accept such leeches , because they do not have any other support to fall back on (Madhuri) and samaaj mein muh dikhane layak nahin rahenge apne aai baba or yeh pet me pal raha bacchha abhi najayaz kehlayega..... are these not soooooooooo yesterday....She was married in front of the whole society for heaven's sake!! saara samaaj yeh jaanta hai... tun inke maa baap ka muh kaala kyon hoga.... ulta Batat ka muh kaala and ass laal hoga.....
Is this the great sanskaar which the Karanjkar's have raised their kids with??....their sankars seem to get paler by the day....
The best part of today's episode was that it is slowing going towards teaching Manu a lesson. NOw that Joru ka ghulam will lose his job, and again Jai ka parda fash will haapen as a reason behind this, then our Manav- a chor, will make him his business partner and help him earn his living. eager to see how this will shape up. I would love Manju to become ..hai mein lut gayi kangal hogayi...
waiting to see what tomorrow's episode has in store.
Chao.

generally speaking I agree with you that the infertility issue is being mishandled just like the illegitimate child issue and the bigamy issue is being mishandled.

what we must remember is the theme and tone of the show. the theme and the tone is not positive. the theme and tone of the show promote female repression (first subtly and now boldly). this is why archana has been picked as a strong bahu. somebody somewhere is seriously intimidated by intellectuality and independence in women and is portraying it as a negative issue.

archana - the model girl - in the show. the epitome of virtue, chose suicide as the solution to tainted reputation that was thrust upon her, chose submission as the solution for dowry abuse, chose silent acceptance and divorce as the solution for bigamy and inlaw abuse, chose an illicit though platonic relationship with a bethroted ex as a solution for proving eternal love, chose elopement as a solution for gaining her one true love (when her family was not really bartering her but trying to secure her financial future as a gullible virgin undereducated divorcee). All these regressive solutions has won this model of virtue the strongest bahu distinction. Moral of the Story: Suffer, Suffer, Suffer some more and in this unrequired sufferance, dangerous submission and regressive mindset lies the strength of Indian women. this is the message.

vandu - equally regressive inspite of an education and her scum of the earth husband miraculously becomes man of the year.

vaishali and varsha - two girls that were educated, averse to female subjugation of any form, independent of thought, strong minded, determined and worldly (traits that most of today's educated progressive women can relate to in moderation) were shown as the opposite of the model woman Archana and in thus being the opposites the sublime message is that their traits are vices not virtues (which we know is BS because these are exactly the virtues that help women succeed in today's competitive world). the price they have paid for their progressive non-Archu behaviour is bigamy, infertility, extramarital affairs, soon probably to be divorce, poverty, abandonment and terminal illness. the message is that woman who have a brain and some spunk are not strong bahus but destructive feminine influences in Indian society.

the submissive 19th century women married losers and through the mere association of their wives became knights and are now moving towards propesperity.

the progressive 21st century women married the most eligible bachelors and through the mere association of their wives became villians, schemers, jailbirds, liars, cowards and soon-to-be paupers.

I apologize for going on a ranting trip but with these subliminal themes as the basis of this show, I find it hard to believe that any woman in this show who does not adopt the attitude of a regressive woman is destined to ever find true happiness or stability in their life.

If Kools and I were in PR we would be living a hellish life right now as we were not brought up to accept female subjugation in the name of love, romance or spousal devotion. More's the pity.
