Ok then fine, you say my vote is undeserving- I accept it. But then no one gets my vote today, cos according to my criteria, no one stood out for me other than him.

I have already given my reasons why I voted for him. I understand CV's ploy that they will not show the breaking of ArJay so soon. They will stretch it at the cost of showing Manav dumb and stupid and doing satyanash. In the end Manav will SAVE.

They always build the story by crippling Manav's character. I hate them for this.

He turned his back on little Sachu and he also did Satyanash of Archus life by chauvinistically taking a decision on HER behalf .......that marraige is essential for a woman and that she has no right to take her OWN decisions . Party if u feel like it but this is AWFUL .

Manav signing the papers: The way this character has been decpicted in this serial upto now, Manav has been shown a person who prioritises his family and Archu over himself. Today when he signed the papers he had to choose between and Archu and himself, and as expected he opted for Archu. But if u ask me this decision does not show us in any way that Archu is his NO 1 priority. If Archu was his NO 1 priority he would have chosen her over sharavani, but that didnt happen. Today suppose instead of Archu if it had been for Sharav or Savita, he would have taken the same decision of sacrificing himself for them.

See,this regressive side of the importance of marriage in a woman's life has been untiringly imposed on this serial from day 1

Manav agreed to sagaai with Archu first time when savita pointed to him that she was already badnaam,she was not educated who the hell was gonna marry her - she told him he was being unfair to archu - although he loved her openly by then,his love did not make him decide on the marriage as much as that izzat factor of hers

Same thing with shravs-who will marry her,wat future she has,badnaami only? He convinced Archu and the Ks to think the same ! Shravni herself told Archu ,ok-bcoz of u I will never get a husband and my child never a father,she is the most educated of all here !

Manav knew Ajit cud be bereham on vandu after marriage-but he chose to take slaps than tell her,leave,no abuse to be taken,he might even burn u.

ArMan think this is their Ramayan - Rama banishes Sita knowing she is innocent,hearing some dhobi's comment,coz he felt his zimmedari position as King required that. Sita did not even fight back,she was pregnant,she quietly left thinking his image was most important.They both were being unfair to their own children,the kids were entitled to the kingdom after all

But both continued to love each other.

When she came back,he again knew she was innocent,but asked her to go thru agni pariksha - still,this was to prove something to the world,not to himself. She agreed to agni pariksha but felt life was'nt worth it after that,she chose to go to Dhartimata,sorta suicide

Manav banishes his wife for some zimmedari,she obliges dutifully.He tells her the agnipariksha of marriage to Jay is for her own good and izzat in society,she says ok,but now she realizes she cant take it anymore

I am sure in rural areas,there are ppl who think abt izzat,marriage,etc. in such terms.But for ppl in urban areas thinking its end of the world,is unneccesary in the plot.

If they had shown Jay saying look,Archu wud go to jail if u dont.Think of the abuse she wud get as a prisoner,rape,etc. also possible.If MAnav had been frightened then for her,it wud have looked more plausible a plot

I dont understand wat archu can prove now in court for herself to go to jail -he has confessed,the mgmt's signature was not forged exactly.It wud be another implausible plot

Agree.He chose Archu over himself...not over phoons or savita.He never had the time to realise that phoons or sachu r at stake as well.It was him vs. Archu.He wud hav chosen Archu anyday.

He hasnt yet prioritised Archu over savita or phoons.

Kudos for ur accurate statement !Totally agree .He wud have done the SAME for Savita Shravni too .This is NOT prioritising Archu , its more BELIEF IN HIS OWN DECISION MAKING ABILITY .

GM , one thing is SURE .Something is terribly wrong with CVS brains. They show the leads to be PAKKA IDIOTS and that too with UNRELENTING CONSISTENCY .
