Beautiful, Tulsey that is such a lovely friendy shaiyree....

You know once upon a time I was so much into Urdu shairee ..my Uncle got me into it ..I used to read the work of Bahadur Shah Zaffar ( the last moghul king ) extremely depressing due to his very tragic life , also Faiz Ahmad Faiz ...but that was such a long long time ago ...

Then I used the whole wheat fresh bread , put margarine on one side , this paste on another and just gave this with that soup.

The boys were eatiing so much , they liked it a lot ...

you know if u have left over baked/grilled chicken you could take the meat out of the bone and drop it in a food processor, with some mayo, celery a touch of mustard (basically whatever you like) whip it a bit and u got yourself chicken spread

Thanks Tanya.

My dad was also into shayari.....every night we used to have a diwan in our courtyard. My dad was a very romantic man. He was a good entertainer as well. My mom was really spoled by him.

He knew Urdu very well and he used to read all kinds and the one that I rembember is Galib. I have his Galib gazals and shayari after he passed away. The rest are with my mom.

I am glad that you finally got the iphones from the Apple store. Jeeju must have loved to hear about that. Did you tell him that you are still sick and what you went through to get these phones?

Tanya these must be very expensive like $700 plus..right?

Tulsey , these phones are not for me . They are for my husband and someone he knows ... They cost me 880 dollars each did not buy the added warranty as they will be used outside Canada .

I am not into expensive toys ...

My husband will be getting it from work so that is a different thing ...

Tanya, wait for a year or 2, these iphones will be selling for less than half price.

I am still using my daughter's flip open phone from Bell. It is fairly thin one that she used 5 years ago. I also had company provided blackberry (the red one from bell) which I like the best for compactness and useability. The keys are easy to use and the size is not big. I have an option to upgrade my BB to iphone but I don't like the touch tone as I am just careful when sending out emails to the lawyers or big wigs from the cell phones. Also, there are finger prints all over it. Oh! just remembered, my face cream will be all over on my iphone. Hmmmm!

Jeeju and Monica are just dying to get one but they are not available as of yet. They both curse me for not getting one when I can. But our reasons for having it are different.

Varsha , asprin gargling was very good , it worked .😊 I am so glad it did Tanya...U need to feel better and pronto...Try taking steam too with vicks drops to clear your sinuses as well as your chest...You sweat, take hot shower after that and feel better...
