What I do blame her ( and the writers for writing such a silly plot ) is that she should not be shown so obsessivly in love with a man who dumped her so ruthlessly or at least show Manav as someone who has done something wrong .

There u go . Objectivity inspite of being an Archu fan . No problem if Archu didnt want the marraige . But go about it in dignified way , dont RUN after the man who dumped u the way she is doing uPTO THIS POINT . That cANNOT Be excused as she sIMPLY LOVES BAS . Ok , no problem , do that . But then BREAK the engagement to JAy .and then sit and SIMPLY LOVE like a MEERA. Is she doing even that ? One ridiculous thing after other she does , from calling Manav to saggai , worshipping his feet , taking pangas with her in laws for him ...........all this ARCHU DOES and i feel amused to see her fans dismiss it as 'SILLY THINGSTHAT ARCHU DOES" ........these same fans wud have blasted Shravni for doing it or Varsha for doing it . As it is THEY DO . The list of silly things Archu has done has fast increased than ANY OTHER character in this show . Yes , even more than Manav . As far as Manav BASHING is concerned , it cannot happen when Archna is doing mistakes , it will only happen when manav is doing mistakes .Currently he is in jail , doing NOTHING .Currently she is OUT of jail , signing papers WITHOUT READING THEM .

I hope Manav does some chase after the jail,and she tells him go do zimmedari - she shud teach him in his own language - she shud REFUSE to marry him,show him his hypocrisy

But those who say savita is mother,everything ok she says in trauma,those v ppl had zilch sympathy for sulo when she wanted to get her daughter desperately married off - isnt her lowbow deeds not acceptable then?

I dont stand dichotomy in views,give both moms same credit and debit

See,I sympathize with savita ,her son is in trouble

But those who say savita is mother,everything ok she says in trauma,those v ppl had zilch sympathy for sulo when she wanted to get her daughter desperately married off - isnt her lowbow deeds not acceptable then?

I dont stand dichotomy in views,give both moms same credit and debit

Getting daughter desperately married off WITHOUT HER CONSENT is one thing and snapping coz Son may go in for LIFE is another . Yes in both cases they r mothers , looking out for their children ....difference when it is a matter of cHOICE and when it is a matter of LIFE AND DEATH there is a VAST difference .

I have blasted Sulo then .I have Blasted Savita when she egged Manav on to marry Shravni . Have u read ALL my posts ?

I have given example of Sulo blasting Manav unreasonably forgetting his hundred SAVINGS when she wanted him to convince Archu to remarry ...............in my Commentary thread as reply to you . Did u see dichotomy there too ? In case u didnt see that answer , I put ALL MOMS in same basket in this scenario . When its matter of life and death , there can be no discussion . The expectation that she will sing Archus GUN GAAN remembering her hundred obligations when her son may go in jail for being responsible for killing two men is a very REMOTE POSSIBILITY with ANY mother was my point .

Then I ask u the same question -

why did u blast Sulo for her desperation in getting archu married off to Jay?

Is she not a mother?Is she not entitled to feel that sinking feeling that her daughter is gonna lose a great oppurtunity to a nice life with a well to do husband and her dejection that Manav still has

emotional control over Archu?

Just bcoz some ppl believe in women's lib,archu can remain spinster for life and dance away in a pub to meet a guy later - it is not wat a traditional aging lady like Sulo wud feel,hell Archu wud be hitting the sacrilegous 30 soon ! Traditional mothers feel they have sinned if their daughter is not married,my parents say that in every phone call and I am not even a divorcee.

Sulo was dying to get single never married varsha off despite her being educated,wrking etc.

They showed a scene earlier,where sulo sees a divorcee marrying a 50+ yr man,and the mother of that gal says what choice does a divorcee have?That is sulo's circle

Fair is fair-both r moms,both deserve same sympathy,both prioritize their children's future and see it bleak in their own ways due to ArMan - Sulo did beta,beta,savita did beti,beti,both did a U-turn-then treat them the same
