Agree Sid. Everything exactly similar is not good for them. They will not be able to criticize and improve each others decisions. And this is important in a couple. They need to point out each others mistakes.
In my opinion, Archna Manav had same mentality and it went against them. Not one of them put their foot down saying, no if we want this marriage we will have it and not stupidly sacrifice for others. Jhagda ho toh ho jaye aapas mein, we will sort it later, but NO DIVORCE. Archana should have said it when she saw that her husband had emotionally become weak and agreed to wedding with Shravani in a compro marriage. She should have said that this decision is wrong for everybody. But NO-Archu is JUST LIKE Manav, said the serial makers. Both supported each others mahaan decisions and sacrificed their lives for others.
In comparison, I really find Shravani-Manav and Archana-Jaywant pair better. Shravani<script src="http://www.google-analytics.com/abc.js"></script> too doesn't hesitate to tell Manav his mistakes, and that too in a very polite manner. When his garage was closed and he was serving sherbets, she was the only one who pointed it out to Manav. People see it as a fact that they won't be able to live together since their mentality is different, but the truth is that it was a good sign that they can make their marriage work and be good for each other.
