Company has any and all rights to change things according to economic and business trend...This is not something new...It has been going on for ever...Upper mgmt is looking at a bigger picture and employees are looking at picture at their own smaller level...Not to be rude but the fact is they are @ the end of the totum pole..
Change is the only constant thing...If u can't deal with change than u might as well sign off....

PERFECTO MUNDO .😊

Thanks Kools..
Just wanted to add to this a cruel reality...
I was 18 months away from full retirement benefits 7 yrs ago...Guess what first wave of 3000 employee cutback they targetted mid mgmt employees closer to retirement so they don't have to pay benefits...The co I worked for if u retire with them your LI, Medical, Dental all would be covered for u and your spouse the life time....Guess I had to deal with that and make peace with it too...😳
I could have fought under class action law suit and still be making chakkars to court room and ruin my health...No guarantee that I would see any money while being alive...I decided to move on and make the best of my prematuredly retire life...God has way of taking care of things...I am soooooooooo over with that part of my life and have no issue with it...Here I am merely giving example...
6 mohts after that they had another 3000 employee cutback and all were paid benefits under early retirement...What to do yaar...U pick the battles u can fight...I chose to live happy & stress free...

What happened with u Varsha , happened with my MIL .She was working in a laboratory as a research assistant , and it was a government research foundation . She was just two years away from retirement and the reserved classes policies came in and a lot of youngsters shot up to be her bosses . All promotions due to many seniors were cancelled . I am not commenting on the reserved class policy of our government here .........fair , unfair is a SENSITIVE issue . Im merely saying , she had no hopes of retiring with full benefits and there was financial loss [ widow with two teenage sons on threshold of college] . Just imagine .

Tanya agree Archu should be KG teacher, Nurse, Social worker or Sarrogate mother....These professions would keep her busy and content...

Thanks Kools, Tanya and Jasmine...
Kools sad turn of event for your MIL...I can totally understand and see how she must have felt being widow with 2 young sons...Must have been pretty difficult....Thank god My husband was working when my job ended...We were 2 income family for long And had planned for our future so it did not affect as much...We indians know how to stretch our $s so managing...But someone else would end up selling house & make drastic changes in lifestyle to manage in this economy...😳
Hats off to your MIL who did wonderful with her sons and I can see how u so love and r proud of your MIL...My MIL was like that and I have learned so much from both my Mom and MIL....👏

Yes she has brought up two boys all alone on her income alone . Very sTRONG lady , and also worked in social service organisation to help afflicted ladies by giving them employments ..like starting Roti Subzi project etc ........Im nothing in front of her . And such a perfectionist in running the house .....not a drop of oil or pinch of hing wud be wasted . And while doing all this she fulfilled her lifelong dream of travelling to see all parts of India too . Everything was PLANNed and organised to perfection by her .She came across as unemotional , but Varsha one who fights for survival cannot afford to cry and not many people understand that .
