See I don't see Manav as being in a catch 22. To me, he isn't in a fix. The issue(problem) is one of his own creation. He feels a responsibility for Shravani (arghhh) so he abandons his responsibility to Archu? It would make sense of me if he was being blackmailed, or some other dark sinister thing. But he isn't. He simply chooses S over A 😭😭.. Sad. Soo sad.
@ Kool---Great commentary Kool! It was spot on. Perfectly describes the state of affairs. That little scene (where Archu cries like a lost toddler), describes her's and Manav's whole relationship. She is basically BEGGING him not to leave her...not to make her marry someone else. And all he does is hold her while she cries. A tawdry (and stolen) moment, that they would have to pay for if anyone else saw. Most ppl blame Archu for Manav's hold on her. But I dont. Manav's actions (his constant declarations of love, the way he stares at her, they way he takes her side over Shravani's ) string her along. They make it so she CANT move on. Because a part of her is convinced they still have a chance.
Manav maintains a relationship with her. (selfish selfish!)
But finally...the relationship is over. That scene illustrates that so clearly. But please, no more secret meetings, not-so-secret looks or anything like that.

I haven't watched the epi yet....but your commentary alone got me all teary-eyed..
I'm actually kind of scared to watch it. I hate seeing Archu cry at all, let alone cry like someone just died..
