What is Chapli kabab .Sounds yumm . Tanya u know how to make khatti dal ? Its multani cuisine .

My husband 's childhood friend's sister got married today . he went to attend it in England . it is the best ever example of a Hindu Muslim dosti I have ever seen . they became friends when they were 9 ...and till today , his mother calls my husnad her 3rd beta. he was eevn introduced i nthe wedding as dulhan ka bhai to every one ..I am even going to get a dress as I am dulhan's bhabi ...

Chapli kabab is afghani food ....My nana's side is from Afghanistan ....

Father's side is from Merut ( in India ) .

I make khati daal using Imli ...

sorry yaar , I flipped my lid today ...I also had a fight with my elder son ..Uff he is so stubborn ....But he made it up later ....

I called my husband i was so angry ...then he spoke to him and he then apologised ...

I am sick of this face book .....

All these kids do these days is just sit on that all day long ...

So sweet . I had many Cattholic friends but never a muslim friend for a best friend as such .Some i knew on hi bye terms . I actually wanted one , coz I loved mohameddan cuisine . their bIryanis and murg massalams etc fascinated me . Also , I loved urdu as a language ..very refined , very beautiful . I also wud be trememdously fascinated by the impeccable manners and tehzeeb of khandaani muslims . My dad had some fast friends . They were very cultured . I loved the respect they gave to women . And not just that , I loved watching Muslim socials in movies . That khandaani atmosphere , it just blew me away , uff ! I watched Nikaah yesterday again btw . Loved it .

One thing im telling u since we both have teenaged sons . Dont argue too much with them .They JUST dont understand . And if Dad is not around , they think they can easily not listen to mom . I nowdays handle diplomatically . My son currently has this craze of weight lifting . It worries me sick . I told him hundreds of times , if a nerve or sumthing gets damnaged , formative years of life will be spoilt , its not worth it . But he just doesnt listen and goes to work out in gym after school . All these r his decisions .

Kool, he gets up and then comes straight to the computer ...No breakfast ( he was not fasting today ) , no making bed no nothing and then he is there for one full hour ....

I am like screaming and telling him to come down but ......

It's lovely to know that yo ulike the muslim tahzeeb and all that ..

My husnad 's friend , used to come to pakistan with him when he would come to see his grandparents every year . He is considered just as much part of the big family as him .....For almost 12 years , he would come to pakistan every year with his friend ....

And the day he would come , his favourite things that he likes to eat would all be ordered before he even steped in the house .

He is like one of the most spoiled son of the family 😆
