Sushant- top 5 actors( article)

They appear in shows looking like Christmas trees. But don't shine like them. Almost all actors on the small screen end up looking like clones of each other. They sleepwalk in and out of scenes. While the women concentrate on holding their zardosi sari pallus in the picture perfect way the men 'emote' with their rippling muscles. By God, the amount of time they spend in trying to look good, if they had invested the same in learning the craft the quality of television would be so much better.

All of us have been subjected to dead pan expressions, flat dialogue delivery and vacant, vacuous looks. It should be made mandatory for every new actor to go through a rigorous acting course before he faces the camera! They are oh-so-busy working out on their six packs or getting their dance steps right or even fixing their slightly crooked nose that most of them really don't have the time or should I dare say even the inclination to better their craft.

With stories of shows going nowhere and actors going through the motions of a daily show almost indifferently why should we be watching them? The whole of last week I kept surfing through channels in the hope of picking up at least five good actors. And to say it was an uphill task would not be an exaggeration…

TellyChakkar has its very own New Talent awards. And right from the short listing of new talent to the nominations and finally the winners is quite a task. To sift the grain from the chaff is really a chore as the quality one encounters doesn't make a very happy picture. Sure it is purely based on voting but then shouldn't we be putting the best up for mandate?

Coming back to my own list of picking just a handful on the current shows my vote goes to (not necessarily in this order) Swapnil Joshi in Papad Pol, Pooja Gor and Kunal Kapoor in Pratigya, Varun Badola in Maan Rahe Tera Pitaah, Krratika Sengar in Jhansi ki Rani, Sushant Singh Rajput in Pavitra Rishta. OK, Swapnil and Varun are not really 'young' actors but at least the younger lot can aspire to become like them.

As I write this I wonder why can't the younger lot take a leaf from their senior co-stars and pull their socks up. Does this mean these prime time stars aren't serious enough and have been taking their job very lightly? Acting isn't about showing off your lately acquired tattoo or flexing your biceps. Neither is it about skin show or revealing your twin assets. I think it has something to do with talent…no?

Sushant is truly a good ACTOR. Some of the actors(nd actresses) cannot even act but they r still on TV. Moreover, he is so much more handsome than Manav. Manav's look actually makes Sushant look less handsome nd his amazingggg smile is never used for Manav which makes him 100000000 times cuter TRPs wud increase a lot if they just make Sushant nd Ankita smile in PR Such beautiful ppl nd their smile nd thats not even utilized in PR properly.

what can youh expect from emosanal attyachar drama... 🤣 🤣 i still can;t seems to digest manav-archu jodi... anyway hope he will consider 1-2 more shows... reality/fics.. i'm hoping he will try out JDJ dance show.. or any other dance reality show.. Youh know what..BT should produce more reality shows but not the scripted or just for gaining trps purposes like their previous flops reality shows.. Hailllaaaa did i just said it out loud.. 🤣 🤣

completely agree! i havent scene much pr, but what i have seen his expressions are always dead on. even in kdm- he always had expressions even in the background. i can only think of a handful of excellent actors like ronit, karanvir/manoj, rajeev, hiten, - they were all great but i feel sushant and harshad ALWAYS have expressions and are ALWAYS ACTING even when its not their scene and they are in the background. and you are so right about the smile! i was kind of surprised when i heard the story of PR- it didnt seem like sushant fit the role but i think the contrast made him even mre interesting! like the first promo- he is using his preet smile-i remember him saying ekta told him to quit acting like preet in pr and start like manav. but all the make up they put on him and his sullen expressions do make him less actractive! the smiles would do wonders!

yeah - their reality shows were pretty bad! i think he should take a break after PR and then go to the film academy. he should then do cameos and reality tv( hosting would be good for him!) in his free time. the longevity of an actor on tellyland isnt very long. with a few exceptions, old faces are often out of work once their hit show is over. so he should pursue something he can do when he is older! directing is great!

Television actors , especially the ones playing the leads are at their peak only for 4-5 years . After that , they usually find it difficult to replicate that success , mainly because people are looking to launch fresh faces ( or those who havent played leads yet) in every new show .
I think Sushant realizes that , thats why he is already making plans after PR.

Sushant is really a good actor. he deserves to be in the top position.
