It seems like none of the characters have moved forward in this "leap" or "second season" or whatever it was.
I see no change in Archana. Even her look is still pretty much the same, she just has more make-up on and a different style of sari blouse. It's not like the sari is even dramatically different, it's almost the same thing except she has longer sleeves and more muted colors. Her hair is in the same style that she wore in the first episodes of the show. This whole "new look" made her look five years older in my opinion - not to say that she doesn't look pretty, in fact I would even say she looked hot in the rain scene - I would have rather seen her in different colors and fabrics or even salwar kameez, just something exuding freshness and confidence. As far as mental state goes, she's still giving those creepy smiles when she talks about the Deshmukhs. She apparently still considers herself Manav's wife, even if she doesn't consciously do so, as she called Mumbai her sasuraal and Sachin's child her own. This "moving on" and "maturing" seems like a facade to me, I'm not buying it.
I didn't buy the rain scene either. It worked in the first month when they didn't know each other, but at this point it is unbelievable that Archana didn't recognize Manav's voice behind her (if not his whole body) and he didn't see her through his peripheral vision or recognize her back, he used to stare at it long enough.
The rest don't seem to have changed either, including other main characters like Manav and Savita. If anything, Manav looks a bit younger, otherwise this leap brings nothing new.
Although many seem to think otherwise, I'm quite sure Shravani married Manav. Even if not in the mandap where they left off on Friday, they could have done it in court, which means their marriage is 100% as legally legitimate as any religious ceremony. Also, Shravani is wearing a sari, the true sign of a married (or once married) woman on this show.
So much after this leap makes no sense, Archana's training, Varsha still being at maayka (and still wearing those multicolored saris), and all the other loose threads which many others mentioned. Nothing new, nothing fresh; I wouldn't expect much to change in just one year anyway. There seems to be no point to this leap aside from buying time to resolve all of the loose threads, now to be shown in flashback or not at all, and a lame attempt to keep viewer interest.
---
Also, I would not pay much attention to Ms. Dasgupta's comment anymore after reading this comment of hers: "someone cald me a bitch..... yes i have achived it...the biggest trademark of the industry......". Completely and utterly exudes experience and professionalism, doesn't it? 😆

OMG, Manav in hero mode looked sexy, hot! 👍🏼 That rain scene is definitely going in my top ten of PR moments.

No, I didn't see him Sid, I closed my eyes and avoided him. Obviously, I was looking, and quite intently at that. Losing some of that extra weight and getting a haircut have done wonders for him, he looked so much better.

Loved the comments, Kool!

I actually loved today's leap episode. The entire aspect of it felt like it was a premiere episode again. Just lovely scenes and music and most everyone happy. It was just plain enjoyable. 👏

Archana looked even more beautiful. She seemed more confident somewhat. Staying away from her family from a year must have changed her for the better, I hope. Even when that weird guy was looking at her at the bus stand, she took it in stride. Manav was looking great, too. The rain scenes were awesome. I so wanted them to see each other. It was a perfect setting for them to meet, right?

Nice to see Savita hasn't changed one bit. She's still telling the neighbors off, lol! Little Sachin looks like a handful, poor Shravani 😆.

Can't wait until ArMan meet!

Sid, more than that, what reminded me of the "old Manav" was when he was trying to control Savita saying, "Aai, aai, usne kuch nahi bola, maine bola tha aai...". That was one of the only scenes, along with the parts in Marathi, that I found to be somewhat new but still in the old characterization; most of the other scenes were either rehashed or simply illogical.
