Sid not sure ....... Manju can b equally loving, caring and financially independent all at the same time.... due to some weird logic BT always portray women with jobs as heartless n egoistic ....wonder why .. she needent b mahaan but surtey b sympathetic to her in laws who loves her so much.....Archu does a lot for Punni ...takes care of her like her own daughter, Sulo treats her like her 3 daughters yet she doesn't leave one opportunity to humiliate or plot against them ....listens to her Mom very well knowing her intentions ........totally pathetic character

Piya, I didnt say she is the best character. I said marriage wise I feel her rishta is pavitra. I m not talking abt her relation with her in laws. Obviously I hate her for complaining against Manav's family bcoz that triggered everything, and some other acts. She also listens to Rasika a lot. Dil ki itni buri nahi hai. She is selfish. Is that too wrong? She thinks abt herself, her husband, nd her child. Archu also listens to her mom a lot and Manju does the same. Both moms dont give the best advices😆

As Varsha [ Dabulls] rightly said , a true indepedendent woman is one who is not dependent on even her parents emotionally or financially to make decisions . Still , I understand , thats a long way to go .So why not start by showing Archu achieving good career and financial independence ? Manju is bad and many things , what I like about her is She consistently is financially independent so she brooks no nonsense from anyone when she really puts her foot down .......be it Vinod , her in laws , or at times even her mom when she refuses to go with her evil plans .{ Though I wish we see such instances MORE] . For instance , Manju wanted to book a flat and move seperately , she did it . She decides Not to go on splurging money for her sasural 's functions which r unlimited and instead puts it aside for Punnis future ..........she does it . She is pregnant yet she hasnt given up job .........Varsha is not pregnant and so much kichkich at home yet she has not opted to return to work but wears silk saris and roams around with shopping bags. Manju is mean at times , yes , but her basic fundas r something that the Karanjkar sisters cud use ...........even Vaishu is opting to marry rich and do nothing instead of developing herself .

Manju loves her immediate family more then her in laws fine.... dont have a prob with that but to listen to her mom's devilish plans and agree is what angers me ....... arre u r plotting against yr husband's sisters ..... one day her mom will b responsible for breaking her marriage nd she'll rue it big time ....... love yr husband , kid as much as u want but b a li;l considerate to yr in laws as well ....always exploiting their situation to yr benefit will bring yr downfall ..... she's not selfish just plain stupid 😆

She is stupid when it comes to her in laws nd her mom but she is selfish nd smart when it comes to herself, her husband, nd her child. Manju is the only woman in the show that u can leave alone and she will survive! Others r nowhere near her. I always feel she is more caring nd selfish towards Vinod nd Punni. She always think abt her nd their future 1st. She even told off her mom that she is not supporting her evil plans nd wants to concentrate on her life.

The fact that she supported Ajit ( knowingly or unknowingly ) in sending archana to a brothel.. she kept quite knowing vandu's marital rape ....that is something for which she cannot be forgiven.. however independent/loving/practical she might be...

the problem with manju is that she has too much faith in her mom. if i remember correctly she did slap ajit for sending archu to the betrothal. back to manju i think she is just needs to be kept away from her mom, and accept her in laws who care. i kinda feel sorry for her in the sense she really doesn't have anybody to work out her problem. she is similar situation as archu in this sense and well she is more educated and self sufficient

😆 I disagree ... my pov is if she is selfish (in worldly terms) bout her family she shld know by now that her husband is an emotional sensitive person who adores his sisters and any kind of scheming against them will only spoil her relations with him ......
