Vandu goes home and tells Savita about the condition Rasika and Ajit gave her
Urmila calls Satish and asks why Varsha said no for dinner
Savita tells Vandu that she won't tell the truth and will deal with Rasika
Manju tells Manohar and Sulochana that Vinod refused to give money for Manav's garage
Vinod comes in and Sulochana says that they got robbed, and Manav helped them, so they want to repay him
Vinod says he doesn't mind giving money to Manav and Sulochana is shocked at Manju and goes to talk to her
May 11
Varsha tells Satish that she'll go to dinner at Ashwin's house
Archu scolds Manav for not taking care of his health
Shravni tells Archu to leave the house, but Archu asks if she can stay till the baby shower
Savita tells Shravni she has no right to kick Archu of the house
Varsha is very uncomfortable during dinner at Ashwin's house and he tells her he loves her
Ajit gets angry when Vandu tells him that Savita won't tell Varsha's past to Bhavana
Ajit kicks Vandu out and tells her to sleep on the street, but Manju saves Vandu and scolds Ajit and Rasika for their behavior
Sulochana apologizes to Archu for not believing Manav during the Satyanaryan pooja, and Archu says it's not all her fault but hers as well

Manav says he's going to find a job to help pay for the baby shower
Archu tells Shravni to respect Manav's goodness
Vinod gives money to Sulochana to get presents for Satish and Manav
Manav sells his bike to get money
Bhavana apologizes to Varsha for overreacting the other day
Shravni tells Girish that she'll always live in fear until Archu isn't gone from the house
Girish talks to Archu and tells her to give Shravni her happiness back
May 13
Shravni tries to make Archu upset, but Archu gives her an answer that shocks Shravni
Sulochana tells Vaishu she is the next to get married
Varsha goes to Manav's house and tells Archu that Ashwin is torturing her
Savita comes and tells them about what Rasika is planning
Varsha says she'll tell Bhavana the truth
Manju decides she won't support Rasika in her wrongdoings any more
Rasika says she'll make Varsha's life miserable
May 14
Manav tells Archu that he sold his bike for money for the baby shower
Rasika goes and tells Bhavana's house to tell her about Varsha's past with Ashwin and badmouths Varsha
Manju tries to convince Vinod not to take Sulochana, Manohar and Archu to the new flat but is unsuccessful
Bhavana waits for the right time to talk to Varsha about Ashwin
Shravni talks about setting a date for the wedding, and Savita says they'll wait till the divorce happens
Savita lectures Shravni that Archu is so good to her and she's always behaving badly
Domdhar questions if he really wants to divorce Archu and Manav says it doesn't matter
Varsha sees Bhavana is disturbed about something and decides to tell her about Ashwin tomorrow
Bhavana decides to go and talk to Ashwin tomorrow because she trusts him a lot
May 15
Archu is worried about Varsha and Manav assures her that everything will be okay
Bhavana goes to meet Ashwin at his office and asks about his relationship with Varsha before Varsha got married
Ashwin tells Bhavana that Varsha loved him and didn't matter if he was married or not, and said that Sulochana also knew about this
Ashwin asks her to keep the matter between them and not to tell anyone else
Archu sees Manav hurt his hand and tells Shravni to put some medicine on it
Some guys come to the chawl and say that the people will have to leave in 15 days
Savita refuses to leave and one of the guys pushes her, but Keshav Pundit comes and saves her
Keshav says that nobody can break a building until the people living there agree
Keshav shows the people the way out of the chawl and everyone is happy and thank Keshav
May 17
Archu tells Manav to take care of himself when he goes to work and to bring medicine for Shravni
Satish tells Bhavana that they're going to Varsha's house and then to Urmila's house, and Bhavana tells them not to go
Shravni apologizes to Manav for the way she has been behaving with him and hugs him
Archu sees them hugging and starts crying and Savita sees Archu crying
Archu is putting laundry up, and the stool is unstable
Manav comes and tells her to be careful and the same incident could happen again
Archu says the biggest incident has already happened, and not to worry about her
Savita asks Archu if she can see Manav with someone else, and Archu doesn't give a straight answer
Savita asks Archu why isn't she fighting for her rights as a wife, and Archu says she isn't that type of person and can't disobey her decision
Satish anad Varsha come to Varsha's house and Varsha tells Sulochana that she's going to tell Bhavana about Ashwin
Bhavana comes to Manav's work and tells Manav Varsha and Archu are very different in nature and thought
Bhavana confronts Varsha about her relationships with Ashwin
May 18
Varsha tells Bhavana the truth about her relationship with Ashwin, but Bhavana refuses to believe it
Sulochana is worried about Varsha
Rasika calls Bhavana and Rasika 'consoles' Bhavana
Vandu overhears what Ajit and Rasika did and Rasika threatens her not to say anything
Bhavana goes to Varsha and says that she'll tell everything to Satish and let him decide what to do
Varsha locks herself in her room
Manav tries to call Varsha but she isn't answering, and when Archu inquires, he says he's calling Tarun
Archu tells Manav that Varsha is going to tell everything to Bhavana and he is shocked
May 19
Ashwin tells Urmila the wrong story about him and Varsha and Satish hears it
Ashwin badmouths Varsha saying she hasn't changed and they both try to console him
Vandu tells Manav that Rasika went to tell Bhavana about Varsha and Ashwin
Ajit cuts the line and beats/forces himself on Vandu
Manav tells Archu what Vandu told him and she tries to call Varsha
Archu tells Sulochana about Varsha's situation and they both leave for Varsha's house
Everyone's trying to call Varsha but she isn't picking up
Satish comes home with Urmila and Ashwin and Bhavana is angry/upset
Satish tries to talk to Varsha but she locked herself in her room
Varsha isn't opening the door, so Satish kicks the door open
They enter the room, and everyone has a shocked expression on their face
May 20
Satish sends everyone out of the room telling them he wants to talk to Varsha alone
Varsha tells Satish the truth
Sulochana and Manohar arrive at Satish's place and ask about Varsha
Bhavana gets angry at Sulochana about Varsha and badmouths her
Manav and Archu come and tell her she's wrong and that Ashwin is lying
Archu says Ashwin is ruining Varsha's life to save himself
Varsha tells Ashwin to tell the truth since lying isn't going to get him anywhere
Urmila defends Ashwin and they leave
Bhavana gets angry at Sulcoahana and tells everyone to leave
Manav consoles Sulochana and Sulochana is upset about Varsha's situation
Bhavana tells Varsha that she doesn't trust her at all, and can't live under the same roof as her
Varsha is about to say she'll leave and Satish says that Varsha won't go anywhere
Satish says he trusts Varsha, and he'll think about everything and take a decision later
Satish tells Bhavana that he'll prove Varsha innocent, and asks Varsha if she still wants to leave the house
Varsha says no and Bhavana is angry
Archu tells Savita what happened at Satish's house
Savita says they'll celebrate the baby shower in 2 days
May 21
Urmila apologizes for what happened at Satish's house
Ashwin tells her not to worry about it, and hopes Urmila will continue to trust him
Varsha is upset about Bhavana's hatred towards her, and Satish tells her to try to understand her situation
Satish tells her that he is at fault for not letting her saying anything before, but doesn't care about her past even today
Satish tells her that she doesn't have to start loving him because of all this and to take her time
The baby starts kicking and Shravni makes Manav feel it, and Archu watches and smiles
Sulochana is worried about Varsha and calls her but Satish picks up the phone
Satish assures Sulochana that he is with Varsha no matter what
Archu apologizes to Manav for the way she behaved with him
Bhavna tells Urmila that Satish believes Varsha
Bhavana gets angry at Satish for believing Varsha but Satish tells her that he believes Varsha is right
Archu says she'll start the preperations for the baby shower and Shravni is angry
Savita tells Archu not to invite Sulochana and Shravni is happy
Savita tells Archu that she didn't invite Sulochana because she doesn't want to hurt them
Savita asks Archu if whatever is happening is right or not
Archu says she can't answer that question, and they have an emotional moment

Star Male and Female of the Fortnight

Star Female : Ok, well believe it or not but one female definitely comes to mind and that is MANJU !! ... she has been great this fortnight (apart from lying to Sul aai *hehe*) ... but she has done some praisable things ... for example , she saved vandu from being tortured and scolds at ajit for not looking after his wife ... but the icing on the cake is when she tells RA she wont be a part of her games because she knows RA is wrong !! ...
Star Male : We have only One Knight in Shining Armor in PR this fortnight and it is are very own SATISH !!! ... i think he is the only guy who can stand up for himself and his wife ... he sticks to his beliefs and follows them ... he is a man of principals and he will always support his wife ... i am so glad when he said "he knows varshu's innocent and he is going to prove it" .. loved that scene and he said it to his AAI !!! now thats praise worthy !!
Star Actor and Actress of the Fortnight

Star Actress : The Star Actress of this Fortnight has portrayed her character very consistently throughout the course of the show and has injected now trademark expressions and habits which are unique to the character. This fortnight's Star Actress is Swati Anand as Manjusha! While her character seems to be having some mood swings, she manages well and portrays Manjusha with the attitude that such a character requires. The bushy hair with gajras, the neatly pleated pallus, and the nail-biting have become synonymous with her character, and Swati leaves you with no doubt about who is on screen even if you don't watch. Her way of delivering dialogues while measuring up the opposition has become apart of Manjusha's style and makes her unique amongst the flood of excellent artists on Pavitra Rishta. Swati Anand has been doing a swell job from the beginning of the show, and while we near the one-year anniversary, she deserves this spot for her excellent portrayal of grey character Manjusha.
Star Actor : The Star Actor of this Fortnight has been in this spot once before, but at that time it was simply for his improvement throughout the show, not for any stellar acting. This time though, Anurag Sharma is the Star Actor for his wonderful portrayal of Satish this past fortnight. Anurag has become excellent at controlling his emotions and giving the correct expressions. He no longer makes one split into giggles with his "serious" expressions, rather he evokes the right emotions every time in his dramatic and light-hearted scenes. Noteworthy were the scenes with Priya Marathe (Varsha) after the affair was revealed. Anurag had very natural and tender expressions, a clear sign of an actor who has grown and come to truly embody his character on screen. Anurag Sharma has done a wonderful job as Satish thus far, and this past fortnight he has done acting that is truly worthy of being the Star Actor of the Fortnight.

I think we have been short of family scenes this fortnight ... but there was one really sweet scene where vershu went to the deshmukhs and then she told archu everything and then Aai came into the room and tells vershu she knows everything ... Aai was very affectionate to vershu and archu so happy to see this ...

Uffff ....when will Rasika and Ajit find something more decent to do ....they are just the limit .....just because Sul and Co dont take revenge of their actions with manju ..these two are really getting out of hand but nevertheless there is always a silver lining to a dark cloud and here the silver lining seems to be Sasha cause atleast they beat Arman in having a Pavitra Rishta ......so proud of Satish ....
Another fortnite goes by ...and story continues ...some Arman scenes , some Archu-Sav aai scenes and a rocking new Manju.....hope Vandu learns to stand up for herself quick , and a quick advice for her aswell'please archu se lesson mat lena ...and not from manav either kuch apni mom se sikho ...on how to handle men !!!!

Expectations for next Fortnight

Regular readers, forget about any patterns, we know that there will be high drama in the next fortnight.
Beginning with confirmed events, the week will start with more preparations for Shravani's godh bharai. The first week will be mostly taken up by the godh bharai and the ensuing celebrations and crying fest, which are rather self-explanatory. Expect more angry expressions from Shravani, more tears from Archana, and more helplessness from everyone else. SBB shows that there will be a very emotional scene most likely after the godh bharai (but perhaps before, it is not clear yet) in Manav's room. Archana will break down and reveal all her innermost thoughts to Manav, while crying of course. She will also hug Manav again, but unlike her previous attempts where Manav played statue, he will hug her back with passion as if he does not want to let go. It will be a scene to look out for and viewers will hope that Manav will not start with any "friendship" dialogues again. The next confirmed event comes in on Monday, May 31st, when a Maha Episode will be aired which will supposedly showcase the divorce. Absolutely nothing can be confirmed on the storyline for that week, all that is known is that the drama will be BIG. June 1st is the one-year anniversary of Pavitra Rishta, and viewers will hope that it is celebrated in style with the divorce not taking place and Archana and Manav reuniting.
Will anything go wrong during the godh bharai? What will Manav's verbal reactions be to Archana's emotional speel in his room? Will Shravani see them hugging? What will the divorce court scene be like? What will everyone's reactions be? Will anything more happen in Varsha's situation? Will Aswhin try to create more drama? Will Urmila become bitter towards Varsha? Will Mohanrao make a comeback? What is Satish's last name? Will there be any improvement in Vandita's situation? Will the garage re-open? Lastly, forget about Shravani's expressions, WILL THE DIVORCE HAPPEN?
As always, expect the unexpected on Pavitra Rishta, and don't forget to watch Monday, May 31st, at 9:00 pm IST for the final verdict, only on Zee TV.
